Hello to all my lovely readers. I know I’m too early than usual but I guess no one has a problem with it? Do you? Jokes apart. Well let’s start with the 17th episode of this Fan Fiction.

“You want to know why? So listen…Yesterday after dropping you at Taneja Mansion…”

(Flashback is shown.) (Flashback is in narrative voice.)
Kunj reached Sarna Mansion, after leaving/dropping Twinkle at Taneja Mansion. He parked the car and headed towards the living room. He noticed that the lights of Usha’s room were still on, resulting him to wonder why so? He marched to her room, to find Usha lying on the bed while Bebe is beside her. Kunj knocked at the door and sought permission to enter but both Usha and Bebe ignored him. Kunj walked in and muttered, “Ma…” but Usha said cutting him off, “Bebe, switch off the lights. I’m feeling sleepy.” Bebe got up and was about to do so when Kunj stopped her stating, “Bebe, leave it. You go, I’m with Ma.” Bebe left.

Kunj came and sit next to Usha and asked, “Ma, what happened? Why are you behaving so?” Usha turned her face to the other side and said, “Don’t call me ‘Ma’ Kunj!” Kunj held her hands and exclaimed, “I’m sorry Ma, I know I said a lot to you in the morning but you know I can’t tolerate that girl, and after all I never wanted to marry. Not only to twinkle, to anyone else as well. Marriage for me is a cage which makes me feel suffocated. You and Dad also married but what was the result?” Usha turned her face towards Kunj and said, “Kunj, it’s not necessary that what happened to our (Usha and Manohar) marriage will happen to yours (Twinkle and Kunj) marriage!” Kunj uttered, “But, ma…” Usha said, “No, ifs and buts. You’ve to give proper space to Twinkle, try to understand her. Give your own self some time and then decide, whatever you’re doing is it correct?” Kunj spoke, “Sorry Ma, but I can’t!” Usha gave up and said, “Do whatever you want but I’m telling you if you do anything to Twinkle or ever beat her up then you’ll see my dead face!” Kunj was taken aback and without any option he had to comply on what Usha said.
(Flashback ends!) (Kunj’s voice continued)
“Kunj…” I heard Twinkle calling me out. I turned back to look at her, her eyes were full of tears. She continued, “I’ll just ask you one question, will you ever accept me or I’ll mean nothing in your life throughout?” I said, “Don’t worry Twinkle, I can understand that living with me is like a hell for you. But, don’t you worry after 3 months, I’ll divorce you and then you’ll be free from this chain of relation.” She looked on and asked, “What about Mummy ji?” I looked to her questioning eyes, which had tears full of pain and replied, “Ma…I’ll make her understand!”

I was about to leave when I realized her holding my hand with a stream of tears down her eyes. It ached me, yes it did! She exclaimed with a choking voice, “Kunj…I don’t know whether you ever liked me or not, but for me the moment Ma, showed me your picture I fell for you. Maybe that time I wasn’t aware of this side of yours but still, I loved you with all my devotion. And now…”

I looked on as she confessed, “Now also, I don’t feel any shame in accepting that I’m in love with the beast who once was my knight in the shining armor. Yes, the night of our wedding when you revealed your truth I was angry, furious and disappointed over you as I’ve had some expectations from you and all were ruined in a, maybe a mini-second! But I can never say that I’ve ever hated you. That day, finding you with Alisha, I burst over you not because I felt disgusted to find her with you, but because was jealous with the fact that you’ve been with some other girl. I didn’t hate you hat day, instead I hated that bi*ch! Yesterday, when you raised the hunter over me, I felt pain, not because of the bruises it gave me, but because the hatred in your eyes pierced my heart. The next day, when you came near me and acted sweet, my heart melted for you Kunj! And I’ve no fear of your beatings but I fear for your hatred, as I can never bear to see hatred for me in the eyes of my LOVE! Yes, Mr.Kunj Sarna, I love you! Your wife loves you Kunj, to the moon and back!”

I was shocked over her confession, how can she love a person who’ve given so much pain to her, who’ve hurt her to each and every extent, who’ve betrayed her, who’ve played with her. But still she loves him like anything. I cursed myself for doing so but that’s a fact that I can never love, anyone, any girl! I looked at her, she’d already broken down on the floor, crying. I bend near her and whispered as softly as I could, “Twinkle…” She looked up to me, with her big hazel brown eyes, which had tears. She stood up, and so did I. She said wiping her tears, “I’m sorry…” I shushed her by placing a finger over her lips. Her tears were piercing my heart. “Twinkle…I’m sorry…I’m sorry, not only for 1 time but 100, 1000, 10000, 100000, 1000000, to all the numbers in the entire universe. But, loving you…”

She cut me off stating, “No Kunj, I can understand, love can never be forced. I loving you is my choice. And asking for the feelings which you never had for me is iniquity! I’m not asking you to love me but a peaceful and a pleasant life!” I said, “But Twinkle….” She again cut me off, “Kunj, let me speak. I know it’s not easy for you. But let’s start up being friends! What say?” ‘Yeah this sounds good!’ I thought. I smiled, as I complied. She forwarded her hand with a big smile on her innocent face and I also smiled back and shook hands with her stating, “Friends…” And she continued, “Forever!”
We smiled on this new bonding of ours 🙂

Next Morning

I was wandering here and there in the living room, glancing at the clock. I remembered Ishana’s warning about the worst Christmas present. I felt a hand on my shoulder, turned to find Twinkle, dressed in a long tea-pink colored gown touching almost the ground, with a dupatta pinned to her shoulder and a coti in silver color. She signaled me, but I wasn’t able to understand and asked, “What?” She said, “What, what?” I replied, “You tell.” She asked, “You asked…”
“No you aksed”
“You..”
“No, you” and we continued arguing. But we finally stopped when we heard a cough. It was Bebe, when we realized that the whole family was in the hall and was laughing over us. We were left embarrassed, and bowed our heads down and cursed each other.

Ishana stepped inside the hall, and all stopped laughing. I noticed Rudra’s face turning black and he suppressed anger and was about to leave from there but Saumya held his hand. ‘What’s going on between them’ was going in my mind but yes, I was agitated to see Ishana passing a sly smile to me. She said, “Good morning” Twinkle replied to her while others didn’t utter a single word. Ishana moved towards Twinkle and I, with a smirk. She said, “Well, I sincerely apologize for ruining your Reception ceremony.” But my wife, or better, I should say my friend who’s a great human said, “No, need to apologize Ishana. As far as you’re staying here you’re part of our family and family members don’t apologize!” ‘Family member? Like seriously…She’s here to ruin everything!’

“Well, that’s so sweet of you dear but I’ve something here to compensate with you!” She said handing us an envelope. I asked bluntly, “What’s this?” She replied, “You better open this and check yourself!” I opened the envelope and all came in my mind was, ‘What the wuck?’ Ishana continued, “A 10 days vacation or I better say Honeymoon package for you guys in Paris!” I said rudely, “No need of this. Thanks!” But Twinkle held my hand tightly and said, “Thank you so much dear. That really means a lot!” I stared her and she glared me back, with justifying eyes.

‘There’s something really big going in her mind!’ I thought looking at Ishana. As all dispersed out of the hall, and only she and I were left she came near me and whispered in my ears, “Merry Christmas Kunj! I’ll follow you guys as a shadow but I promise to make sure not to disturb you guys! Start counting days Kunj! Happy Honeymoon!” and she left. I really curse Twinkle for accepting her offer!

(Scene shift to Twinj’s room)
I asked angrily, “What was the need to accept her offer?” Twinkle who was busy packing replied, “At least I’m not like you, Rude!” I said, “Do you love creating problems? Oh..I forgot you’re a Siyappa Queen!” She turned into an angry bird and yelled, “How dare you? Then you’re Sadu Sarna!” I fumed and said, “Impossible!” She exclaimed, “Yes, you are! Sadu Sarna…Sadu Sarna…Sadu Sarna!” I screamed, “Twinkle…” and started chasing her, and she also started running. I must say she’s a good runner, but I’m also Kunj Sarna!

“Gotcha!” I yelled as I caught my beauty in my grip. But, it’s actually an awkward moment for both of us, as I was holding her from her waist. I left her the very next second, and we avoided eye-contact. I said, “Sorry!” She looked at me and I looked at her , and the very next moment we were laughing like hyenas and ended up falling on the couch.
