Shark Tank India 2: Amit Jain gets emotional remembering his grandmother after hearing Shruti’s pitch
The latest episode of Shark Tank India 2 witnessed Pitcher Shruti showing the sharks her invention, a wheelchair with upgraded features. The wheelchair was designed to enable a mobility-impaired person to gain freedom. The wheelchair even had an inbuilt feces-cleansing help system, which significantly reduced the amount of assistance needed. She asked for Rs 1cr for 10% equity.
Shruti was praised by the sharks for her creativity. After listening to her pitch, Amit Jain shared his own personal experience when he cared for his elderly grandmother for the last decade of her life. Amit got emotional while talking about it. He matched Shruti’s offer of Rs 1 crore for a 10% equity in her company. Anupam, Namita, Peyush, and Aman join the deal and she gets a 5 Sharks deal on the same evaluation. Anupam calls Shruti the combination of Guts, spark, and hunger.
