The Episode starts with Jagannath and his wife Kusum arguing sweetly. He says I m still fit, you have turned old. She laughs. She says I have served you all life. He says I know how much you worry for me, your children are coming, you will be busy now, they are selfish and useless like you, I m going to make tea for myself. Maid gets the tea for him. He drinks it. He asks Kusum to do yoga with him. he leaves. Maid Baby asks why is he angry now. Kusum says he won’t get peace until he goes to the ghat. Baby says he is 72 years old, he should give rest to his body. Kusum says his mind has the tension, so he is so disturbed, he is still kiddish.

Jagannat gets ready. Kusum smiles seeing him. She goes to help him. dil to bacha hai ji….plays…. He sees his medals and

trophies. He looks for something. Baby laughs. Kusum asks her to go. She asks what are you finding. He says Baby hides my things always. He asks why are the children’s pics on my table, I m looking for my pen. Kusum laughs. He says you would have hidden it. She says look into your pocket. He asks how did it come here. She says ask the pen. He says its your mistake, I got late today, Virender can come to the ghat before me, don’t get jealous. She says I m not jealous, you keep dancing all day and make me dance also. He says this is called punctuality, everyone knows I m so punctual, Deepa and Alok will come and say that I m still the same. Kusum says you are doing this for them. He says you spoiled them. Virender comes and says you got late. He asks Kusum to reform Jagannath. She says nothing can change him, some miracle should happen. Jagannath goes.

Purvi talks to her lover. She says my parents didn’t support me when I said I want to have a love marriage, if you don’t come, then I will die. Her sister Shruti comes and says dad is planning to get you married soon. Purvi asks is he my dad or my enemy. She says I can’t do anything now, Babu is handsome, educated and did engineering also, he was so stylish and I loved him, he loves me a lot without any condition, he isn’t like our parents. Shruti says you got stubborn. Purvi says I can’t love someone and marry someone else. She writes a letter for her mum. She packs her bags. She leaves.

Jagannath says these days, children don’t care for elders. He gets irritated. Virender says you are still happy, you at least stay alive, look at me, since Ananya left me, I m totally alone. Jagannath says you stay with kids. Virender says but day doesn’t get spent, no one has time for me, you are lucky to get good kids, Kusum was happy, she said everyone is coming on holi this time. Jagannath says we will see. He smiles.

Purvi meets her friend Dolly. She says I have run away from my house, my hands are still shaking. Dolly gives her a new sim. Purvi asks where is Babu. Dolly asks was he coming. Purvi says yes, I came here for his sake, I will go where he takes me, I love him a lot. Dolly asks where is he. Purvi says I had called him, his phone was off, I had sent a voice message to him, he didn’t receive, what now.

She calls many friends to ask for Babu. She cries. Dolly consoles her. Purvi says I will go to his house. Purvi comes somewhere and asks for Babu. She says I m his friend. Babu’s mum says my son doesn’t have any friendship with a girl, he isn’t at home, soon.

Jagannath comes home. He sees Kusum and asks is the knee pain happening again. She says no. He says see what I got, commode for your American son, are you happy now, Virender was saying that my children at least ask for me. Baby asks what’s the use now, children aren’t coming.

Kusum asks her not to speak a lot and take the workers. Kusum says Alok called, he said he is busy, he can’t come, but he wants to come, he said he will come next time. He asks about Deepa. She says she said she has done packing and all, she wants to come but…. She will come when her brother comes, I said okay. He asks how long will you make excuses, how long will you have this hope, your children don’t have time for you now, can’t you see this, leave all this, no need to love them, break the strings, as I have broken. Yeh Jeevan hai….plays… Kusum cries. He goes out. He reaches the ghat. Purvi gets Babu’s call. He scolds her for coming to his house. She says I left my house for you, you didn’t ask me how I m. She cries. Babu says I can’t see you crying, go back home, I will explain my parents. Purvi asks how can I go back, my dad will kill me, I have no way, we have to get married today itself. She says I do what I say, I have courage. She removes her jacket. She throws her phone. Babu says don’t do any foolishness. She runs to the ghat. Jagannath looks on and shouts. She jumps in the water.
