It was a bright morning. The Land of Mahakali temples, the city of Gurdwaras, Patiala where still the undying love stories exist. The love stories are not written by unity, death is their beginning. The love that doesn’t abide by limits of nature that has luck itself. The whole universe tends to unite them. Such is a love story of Rishi and Tannu, it began in childhood, and their friendship didn’t know the story will turn into love story. In every difficulty of life, their love attracted them towards each other. Their love has been a Kasam (swear), they will fight the universe for the sake of it.
Rishi and Tannu were children, they played in the fields playing some game in which Risha lost. Tannu makes face at him. She tells him to go as their mother must be waiting, Heer Ranjha would have begun.

lady complaint Shanta why she brought her here. She says she has to prepare much for Lori, and Babay would be angry. Shanta says they won’t leave until Heer Ranjha has finished. Rano asks about Rishi, Shanta says Rishi isn’t alone, Tannu is with her. Rano dislikes. Rishi and Tannu run towards the show. Shanta had taken a seat in the front rows while Rano stays behind. Rishi comes to Rano, Shanta tells Tannu that the last part of the drama is going on. in the drama, the parents accepted the proposal of Heer and Ranjha, Heer said no power can separate them from each other. Tannu asks what they are talking about, what is love. Shanta says when two people can’t live without each other, it is love. Tannu asks if everyone has this love. Shanta says when the love enters life, one gets an idea that this is it. It joins two souls together. Tannu looks at Risha smiling. Heer had fallen on the floor, Ranjha cried that Heer had died. He questioned who wants to separate them, they are tied to each other. Rishi was moved at these dialogues. Ranjha also died there. Tannu asks Shanta is they will come again. Shanta says yes, true love is like this. Tannu asks when we know we love someone. Shanta says people ask happiness for themselves, but when they ask happiness for someone else it means they have fallen in love with them. The story ended, Rano urges to leave. Rishi asks if this love is true, Rano asks him to come along, she will tell what love is. She comes out and shows him the star who was talking on phone that for drama one has to pose to be in love. Rishi hears him silently, Heer was also saying that this love is all rubbish. She tells him that her husband would be waiting for her. Rano tells Rishi that these are actors, which was stage. There is nothing like love in world, we believe love to be true. The truth is what he just saw, the most important thing in life is money. Rishi watches Tannu smiling at him as he leaves with Rano.
Rishi stands on tractor thinking about her mother’s words. Rishi thinks his mother is right, there is nothing like love. There Tannu says to Shanta she was right, there is love.
In the evening at Lori, Rano comes to take blessings from Bi ji. Bee ji blesses her to live long. Rano says if she doesn’t live long who will take care of Bee ji and everyone then. Bee ji says her sons are there to take care of her, one being Raji and his friends Veeru. Both stay happy with each other. Shanta asks Bee ji if she should bring her a shawl, Bee ji say she is alright.
Rishi challenges Tannu to catch him, she chases him out of the fair. Rano and Shanta dance with each other. A big cart arrives to the fair. Raji appreciates Shanta for teaching Veeru how to dance. Guljeet had come on the cart, Shanta goes to welcome her. Guljeet complains that their car went out of work so they asked this tractor for lift. Guljeet comes to Rano, they greet each other. Guljeet gives Rano a CD of English serial. Rano takes an excuse saying she has something important. Rano comes to Raji and says he didn’t tell her they got a letter from his uncle who wants to call them all outside. Raji says he doesn’t want to leave his soil Rano asks if he has seen his uncle, he has become a big man. She says she will tell everyone about it. Raji asks if she has forgotten what prediction they got about Rishi. Rano says Rishi is just a child now, seven years old. He will get this pain at the age of 23. Rishi chased a rabit near the dam. Rabit hops down, but Rishi was about to fell off in the dam. He calls fro help. Tannu who was in the fair could hear his call. She looks for him.
Rano says they can’t ruin their son’s life. And that girl be his shield is just rubbish.
Tannu runs following Rishi’s call. She watches him there near the dam and runs towards him. She asks him not to leave his hand, she goes back to call someone for help. She says there is no one here, she gives her own hand to him and drags him up. His hand slipped from hers. There, someone goes to tell Rano and Raji that Rishi is drowning. Tannu throws her dupatta to Rishi and asks him to hold it. It blows with the wind away, she tells him not to leave the wall, she will get the dupatta. She struggles again. Rishi holds the dupatta and comes up holding it. People from the fair ran towards them, but Tannu had helped him out already. Shanta hugs Tannu. They all appreciate Tannu. Raji and Rano where silent. Rano wonders how they will go back so soon, children are cold. Shanta says there is the temple. They all head there, a transgender served there. He says to Kaali maa made a couple today. She says that this was a black night for this boy, goes to get the Chunri and drapes both children with it. She says what happened today had to. Rano says it was just an accident. The temple lady says life in an accident, death is a trap. Every time this boy will fell in trouble, every time this girl will save him. He will be in pain, she will feel; he will be in trouble and she will face them. They are both bound to each other with the lines of hand, she will fight her fate for this boy all her life. She will lose to make him win. Rano denies everything saying he is her son. The lady says this boy belongs to this girl, he will always be born to get this girl’s love. They will meet again to fulfil the Kasam they gave each other.

PRECAP: A young Rishi and Tannu are there. Tannu says no one asked her to wait for Rishi, it is her heart who says he will come and that is why she waits for him.
