1st Epi – Suhaagan 2nd May 2023 Written Episode Update: Bindiya and Payal’s hardship begins

The Episode starts with Bindiya and her parents coming to the temple. Her mother says where is Bindiya. Bindiya is shown, bringing flower petals in her hand and giving to Pandit ji. Dadi gives blessings to Bindiya’s parents and says now we shall leave. Bindiya’s sister Payal says Pandit ji haven’t given us prasad yet. They see the beggars outside asking for money. Bindiya’s father tells that he doesn’t have money, but has prasad. They give the prasad and asks Payal to give her prasad as well. Payal refuses.

They convince her to give her prasad. Payal gives her prasad after Bindiya convinces her. Later she eats some prasad which she has kept for herself. Everyone laugh. Payal and Bindiya insist on swinging on the swinger.

Next morning, Bindiya wakes up and thinks today is Maa and

Papa’s anniversary. She senses someone outside the window, but ignores. She comes to Payal and tries to wake her up. She then lets her sleep. She feels hungry and thinks to make something. She gets the match stick with much difficulty, but couldn’t lit it. She thinks to drink cold water, but milk is not in the vessel. She comes to the cow and asks if it can give her some milk to drink. Dadi comes there and asks her to give her some love to get milk. She sings song. Bindiya asks why do you sing? Dadi says cows likes the song and asks her to express the milk. Bindiya expresses the cow milk. Dadi asks her to go and get ready for school first, and wake up Payal first. Bindiya sees hand impression on the wall and thinks whose hand impression is it. She gets ready to go to School and make Payal get ready too. Someone is keeping eye on them. Dadi asks Payal what is she searching, if she has forgotten something. She gives them tiffin. Bindiya checks the bowl and couldn’t find anything for Dadi. She keeps her paratha for Dadi and takes the empty tiffin. She says we didn’t wish Maa and Papa happy anniversary. They come to their photo frame, which has garland on it, and then wishes them on their anniversary. They go to their school. Dadi worries that what will happen to them if something happens to me.

In the class, Bindiya raises her hand to answer the question. She answers wrong. Master ji says wrong answer. The kids laugh. Master ji praises her and says atleast she tried. During the lunch break, Bindiya comes out of the class. Master ji gives her toffee for her try, and says the person is better who tries rather than the person who fails without trying. He asks her to eat the toffee. Bindiya tells that she can’t eat it and will give it to Payal. Master ji gives another toffee to her and asks her to remind her Dadi to pay their fees. Bindiya says ok. Later Dadi is working in the farm and sells the field for a mere petty amount. She bargains for more money, but the guy pays her small amount. Payal tells Bindiya that the school is torture and treats the children as child labour. Bindiya gives the toffee to Payal. Payal eats her toffee and asks for her mango toffee. Bindiya gives it to her. Payal washes it and eats it. Someone is following Dadi and comes to her asking her to give her ring. Dadi gives her ring, but the guy says that it is fake. He asks Dadi to give him money, pushes her and Dadi falls in the well. Payal and Bindiya are going from there and sees Dadi shouting for help. They come to the well and shouts for help. Dadi is drowning. Bindiya asks Payal to bring someone for help and jumps in the well to save Dadi. Payal stops hearing Bindiya jumping in the well. She goes to get help.

Precap: Dadi is unconscious and critical even after being rescued. A couple comes there to rule on the girls.
