TWINKLE POV
I still don’t have a date & its just 1 day left…I wonder if Kunj will ask me..He hasn’t talked since 2 days..I doubt he feels anything for me..At least he could have made an effort to ask why did I leave in such a haste..what was the urgency..but he wasn’t even worried for me..He wasn’t even interested in talking..
“I doubt that yaaaar..wo nahi puchega” I replied coming out of my thoughts
“I bet he will” Mahi replied instantly as if she saw the future
“Aur agar nahi kia to ???” I raised my eyebrows & widened my eyes
“To…ummmm..Tu kisi aur k saath chali jana” She winked & started laughing..& then again she went to the room humming the song
My face drooped down..I soo desperately wanted him to ask me..I had denied all the boys who asked me today just wishing that the next sec it would be Kunj…a little nervous..a little shy…a sweet smile..with those cute dimples..& a little red cheek due to blush..He would take me to a silent place..look into my eyes…which will make me nervous..my heart beats will increase..my breaths heavy..& then he will take my hands in his hands..a shiver running through my body by mere a touch..& then he will ask…“TWINKI KUNJ AAYA HAI” Mahi shouted from the room while I was lost in my imagination of Kunj asking me for the Dance…I couldn’t clearly listen in the kitchen & added to that I was Day-Dreaming..
“KYA ??” I spoke & turned & bumped into Kunj who was standing right back of me
“KUNJ…I—m—I m sorryyy !!” I stammered surprised by his sudden appearance in front of me when I was totally lost in his thoughts
Mahi started laughing & spoke “I am going out…No funny business u both till I return” She again winked & Kunj smiled at her joke..his dimples clearly visible on his right cheek which was turned towards my face..I widened my eyes & gave her a glaring look & sighed !!
“Umm—why don’t u sit in the room..I will be back with umm—Coffee ??” I stammered nervously & stressing a bit more on Coffee
He nodded & went !!
I sighed & tried to believe its reality..KUNJ IN MY ROOM..!! I quickly washed my face..wiped it & made my hair into a pony tail & then looked at the Window Pane..if I looked okay..using it as a mirror 😛
I quickly made the coffee & went with it in the room..
Kunj was sitting with his college bag near the window watching the Teddy Bear they gifted me on my birthday !!
“Its really Cute..hai na ??” I spoke keeping the coffee on the table & sitting opposite to him
He nodded again..
Now this Silence was annoying me..Why was he here if he did not want to speak..!! Do I look like a Fool..who is speaking nonsense & u don’t need to reply or is it that I am Invisible !! What was my mistake..I wasn’t even aware of that !!
“Kunj kya baat hai ?? R u angry ??” I asked in a little serious tone
“No..btw Nice Coffee !!” He said sipping the coffee & moving towards the table where I kept the Wooden box which was my mother’s..given to me by Sister Martha..
“umm—don’t open that box” I quickly shot up from where I sat..He backed away & raised his eye brows
“So Did Saviour ask u ??” He questioned sitting again
“No I am waiting for him to ask me..I don’t even know he will or not” I replied with a smile..curiously wanting to pursue the topic further to see if he is Jealous *keeping the point in mind JEALOUS OF HIMSELF* 😀 😀 😀
“He will !! I mean I guess all the boys of the college would have asked u..trying their luck at least once..Going to the dance with one of the most beautiful girls of the college—I mean every one wishes for it” he said not making any eye contact
I was loving this conversation..He really had a Feeling for me..I could sense it !! But why just why is he not speaking it !! Why is he not trying his Luck…DAMN !! I M SUCH A FOOL..MAY BE HE ISNT BECAUSE HE THINKS IT WILL RUIN THE FRIENDSHIP :/
“Well u know I would be more comfortable with a friend..rather than a stranger..but I don’t have any one who hasn’t got a Date yet !! Every one is busy shopping for their dress & here I m still—“ “TWINKLE” He spoke in between..while I was still speaking keeping my wooden box on the table..
I turned & he was right next to me..He seemed nervous..I looked at him & gestured a what..He kept his finger on his lips & told me to keep quiet..Now I was getting nervous..It wasn’t that we have ever been alone..never been close..I had hugged him on the birthday but today it was different..I don’t know why but yes it was all different..
He lifted me up in his arms..I was bewildered at his this act “WHATTT THE HECKKKK !!!” I shouted
“SHHHHH !!” was his reply
He took me to the Sofa..landed me there & stood there with his eyes moving in every possible direction searching for something…
“KUNJ WHAT DO U WANT…& WHY DID..” he kept his hands on my mouth to stop me to speak any further..
He suddenly took all the flowers out from the vase kept there & I kept watching him sitting on the sofa !!
The he came & bent on his knees..Gave me the flowers & spoke “ Let me say first..” I Smiled & nodded
“I know these are ur flowers but I did not want to ask a beautiful girl as u to accompany me for the dance without any gift..I know I am late..But I wanted the guy u wished for to ask u first..But since every one should try his luck…why not me so..CAN I HAVE THE PLEASURE OF DANCING WITH U IN THE FRESHERSS MA’AM ??”
I gave a big smile with my eyes gleaming with joy ^_^ I nodded & he stood up lifting me from hand..& Swirling me around the room !! I was so damn enjoying the moment !! His steps made me realize he also is a good dancer !! God why did u make him so perfect !! I mean how can u make some one soo perfect !!

He again said his Instant Shayari..while swirling me..with his pointer finger of right hand helping me swirl…& left hand at his back..I stopped there & smiled..I bowed down a little as a gesture of Thanks & asked
“From where do u get these Shayaries ??”
He gave his notorious Smile & made his fist as a mike & sang

Its indeed true that Kunj makes me forget all my worries..May be this is what Love does..Erases all ur problem & takes u to whole new world of fantasy..!! U notice each & every detail of him..his behavior..his expressions..his movements..his reactions..just everything & the astonishing part is u enjoy it..NO wait actually U LOVE IT !! <3 <3

Finally..hehe yeahh finally I asked her..in a dramatic way indeed !! but I am happy I asked her ^_^ Now she will be dancing with me & not that Saviour !! <3<3 We danced in her room too !! U wont believe me but I did..I swirled her all across the room..She took my right hand & was happily enjoying it..laughing & blushing ^_^ <3
