‘Yeah, right’ he replied, laughing.
‘I’m dead serious, Shravan. This is not a joke!’
He probably noticed some kind of determination in my eyes.
‘Suman, you sure?’
‘Yes, I freaking am! Please believe me…’
I said on the verge of crying..
‘Hey, don’t cry. Tell me… so Sumo calls you? How? Where? Why?’
‘Umm.. okay listen, don’t respond. Questions at the end. So the deal is that I had a crush on you for a very long time. But never had the courage, nor I wanted to destroy your relationship with Shivani’
He looked at me sheepishly.
‘So look, you remember Shivani calling you? Which made you realise that she loved you only for money?? Yeah, that was Sumo. We 3 kinda have the same voice na? You can ia break off this relationship if you want. She calls me every time telling me about self confidence and all that. She was the one who encouraged me to confess you. That’s all.’
Shravan didn’t look up to me. I was pretty sure he’d be mad, knowing of the fact that Sumo was responsible for his break up with Shivani. Yea, probably, cause whenever I saw him with her, it did ache my heart, but atleast he was happy.
He got up and walked off, closing my house door. He was hurt, deeply. I did not want that. I wanted to stop him, console him, and kiss him. But I couldn’t. I just sad there crying. He needed time, so did I. I never knew why I told him eveeything. But je deserved to know. Would he ever return? What if he doesn’t? Will my life be lifeless again? I told him about Sumo, how would she react? She told me she would ruin my life. I already ruined my life by telling him the truth. Our memories flashed by, and I cried more and more. Until, I fainted. It was a mental trauma. And when I woke up……
