Akituster! did you get the link for Bashir Momin i sent you a few days back? if not let me know and i’ll send it again. Naz and Akituster reading your comments from yesterdays KKB, i do believe my dears that if we got together we’d set the world on fire with what is happening in the news today we’d definitely solve all the words problems, my most wonderful father would say when he and my brothers and assorted male relatives would sit around and pontificate on the politics of the day he would start off with this and i quote “If i was dictator”!!! which to us was hilarious because he was the kindest most tolerant of others believe systems whether it was religious or political..i still hear his voice and the hand slapping the table as he made his points..Naz, how is Lakshmi? have you heard from her? if you have let her know she is being thought of and i send her good wishes.
Hullo Cathy! And Naz too, And friends who we’re missing here… good to see you here! Yes, I did get the links. I even found the Patti show. I have bookmarked them both and will be watching asap. I had to learn how to use the new system for bookmarking and once again wondered how could I get lost in such a simple system… once I understood how some functions had changed. aaargh. Interesting how some of us were lucky enough to have thinking fathers. Me too! I had my first political lesson at age 9 and have never looked back. Remember though, that the world is supposed to be on fire right now. 2018 was definitely the year for exposure of liars, thieves etc in all walks of life. Thus we see events like the MeToo movements. And I am doing my part in trying to expose how this production is an abuser’s wet dream, come true. ; ) And Naz, all the deadlines, administration etc. is ‘now’. I must get through it before my writing can begin… so off I go to re-organise my small world… so I can re-enter the real world! I am thank-ful for the experience here and ‘meeting’ people through this medium. As soon as the biggest deadlines are completed… well.. Road trip!
Cathy, when I said that I am here to expose things, let’s face it, many viewers already have the feelings/thoughts in their own minds and hearts already. But Miss Ekta hands out big lollipops, a lot. It’s easy to become addicted. I think of my voice as simply reminding others of what they know already and saying it out loud… making it ‘o.k.’ to talk about, even as we are blanketed with the lollipop sugar poison. We all know that sugar is a poison to the human body, right?
I got an email from her yesterday, she is doing well but is tied up in helping her dear friend in a time of need. She isn’t able to comment on the forum because of time constraints and she hopes to find the time to connect with us all soon, remember she has her work schedule cut out for her too… I’ll pass on your message dear Cathy…
Love, hidden away in a closet. A sweet wordless conversation in the closet. Yes, this was the Pragya Abhi moment. And we were treated to another ‘Allah Wariyan’ moment. Just doesn’t have the same punch. If I close my eyes and just listen to the music I feel more emotion than if I watch and listen.
Abhi has still not learned how to say, “No” to Aliyah. That’s a problem. Tuna’s dress is well-fitted. There is another ‘Allah Wariyan’ moment filled with Abhi/Pragya sweetness. Abhi truly misses Pragya behaving like a mother for him. And of course, the slimy Tuna, queen of theft and non-working, non-functional, alcoholic wives who loves to murder anyone to do with Pragya… well she is the finishing touch. It’s as if the producer keeps giving us lollipops (sweet moments) like an abusive predator. Grooming, it’s called in the s*x trafficking world. Or like a schoolyard bully. Be nice to the victim, so the victim will come back. and then as soon as the victim is in your sphere…well PUNCH them, quick. They are a victim. And we have the ugly weapon of Tuna/Aliyah, a hammer which leaks acid on you and simply won’t shut up or go away. This production and specifically it’s producer functions like a bully or a s*x trafficker with all of us… the victim viewers. Of course, understanding that and appreciating that information frees the viewer. Miss Ekta’s game is simply tedious and boring. When will she grow up? Oh right, she doesn’t need to… she has enough money that she can continue abusing others for as long as she likes.
Akituster, I can’t go on a road trip with you and Cathy, I’ll have to take a trip via air or water to meet you both… Maybe I didn’t tell you before, but I live in the Caribbean, on one of those islands where I can see sun and sand all through the year. I’ve been to Canada twice and I enjoyed both trips and I cringe to say that I’ve visited the US more than I should have… On one point yesterday, yes…. I’m a leader but I didn’t discover that I was this till I grew older…being comfortable in one’s skin is a deeply motivating feeling and that’s where I am today…
Not to worry Naz, my road trip is meant to meet Cathy… and you through a device. And neat! I lived in Jamaica for several years and was able to explore the Caribbean while there. Right now, I’m looking at managing a day trip or being away for no longer than 2 days. After all on the way to ‘Finding Cathy’ my curiosity may become overwhelmed and I may need to stop and explore. For me, it will be the first test run to see if I can manage on my own. I’m sure I’ll be great! Before accident, I was in the habit of having mini-adventures, disappearing into nature or new environments every few weeks. I worked extra long hours to manage the time away. The universe is telling me that there is ‘more’ to come and to be learned from this commenting experience. I have no idea what that might mean… from the feeling, I will label it with one of my personal favourite catch-phrases, ‘productive pleasure’. I’m not worried, we will meet somehow. Oh yes… I did reply to you yesterday…about being Aries!
Yes, I read your comment from the previous day… Lol.. you are 100% correct…
I think that the writers fell asleep and the keyboard kept typing… Monotonous content… I have to ask this.. Is Abhi a man or a boy? He’s still playing hide and seek!! Lorddddd… Help Ekta Kapoor!!! I’m gonna do like Dhara from today, I’m only going to read sub heading and precap and pretend I read the entire episode.. Allah Waariyan no longer has its appeal, when I close my eyes too, the song has some effect but when I see Abhi and Pragya oogling each other, the song becomes like a bread that refuses to rise…to the occasion!! “
Cathy, I’ve finished viewing the entire serial of Bashar Momin…. Wow!!! Now, that’s what I call a fantastic serial …how Bashar described it….” The first love story to emerge from the pits of fear”…OMG!!! I didn’t regret!! Finite but sweet, no need for intimate touching, Bashar’s eyes and Rudaba’s fright were spellbinding. I encountered a problem however, I was able to view up to 10 or so episodes with subtitles, I don’t know where it disappeared after and then I found it back somewhere down to a couple episodes to the end..you know my understanding of Hindi is minimal so I struggled but when I finished the entire serial, then I saw subtitled episodes popping up on my feed and so I saved them and will view them all over again. The dialogues were poignant, hard hitting, logical and fantastic. I remembered on the forum of JGTPM, Lakshmi used to give you the updates or translation but now I know why… I’ll start the other one soon… Akituster… These Pakistani serials are the opposite of what we get from Indian writers, you should try watching one, you won’t regret, Bashar Momin should be your starting point… No elaborate set, no fancy costumes, only actors with raw talent and good chemistry….31 episodes but the story is well explored…3/4 hr long each episode.
Naz…did you watch the youtube Videos of BAshir…specifically Samiamits times channel?…all of them were CC.? i have noticed though that in the last 5 or so episodes it skips to another channel that doesn’t have the Subs…so you have to make sure that your still on Samiamits channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSUVpjpXLgJOyMZ_lxV7GwA/videos?disable_polymer=1….See this show should have been what JGTPM should have been, a re telling of the beauty and the best fairytale but had failed in an epic way. i can’t help with the english subs for Khanni as it was shown on our local muti cultural tv channel here..but it was another well written and acted drama that i enjoyed immensely…but back to Bashir..wasn’t he terrifying? in a delicious way, and so much was said and communicated without touching…especially how he regarded his lustful feelings for Rudaba..what sold me on this series when it was showing in Canada was the scene where bashir was alone after Rudaba spilled coffee on him and he was slowly touching the burn and had that look on his face….eroticly charged!! i watched with my jaw hanging open…Oh my. LOL
Hello Pam …from South Africa…it’s interesting to read your point of view concerning the current affairs situation… Hopefully we can share more… I agree with you that everything is suspect…
