On one hand where channels are busy doing everything to rake in good viewership for their shows, there are some shows which are in the list of being slacked. Recently the news of many shows being pulled off air was heard and adding to the list is Star Bharat’s Muskaan.
It has had a successful run for over an year but now a dip in the ratings has lead the makers to make the decision with a heavy heart. Last time when the rumors of the show going off air were doing the rounds, , Yesha Rughani was quoted saying, “We were told that our numbers have risen up to 0.7 (maybe she means intra-week, for full week is still just 0.4). The leap has just taken off, so I am sure we will rise with time.” “Having said that, TV is a very unpredictable business, so one does not know what might eventually happen. But we all are working very hard to give you a good product, fingers crossed,” added Yesha.
But now, it seems that the expectations have not been fulfilled and the show has not revived to survive the battle of TRPs. And yes, the show has been given an off air date. The show will apparently witness its last episode on the 28th of December. The grapevines are abuzz that the channel was not happy with the narrative of the show.
The makers thought that the storyline is not heading anywhere and hence they informed the producer Rashmi Sharma that the show will be taken off air by the end of the month.

Finally something good happening!!!
It is trying to sell the same crap again and again!!
I really feel bad about Saharad Malhotra and Yesha Rughani about playing the same patho roles always in the serial. Don’t they really feel bad to never show positive story? I will be so happy if Sirji dies brutally by the hands of Muskaan, begging to kill him fast, and the typical villains are out of the house.
Good riddance
