A girl Upasana wakes up early morning and does household chores. She goes to fetch water. Parvathi walks to her and praises her hard work. Upasana says her brother Samrath is working her to become a lawyer, she is just doing household chores and does not want her father to say that her son is studying hard and her daughter is lazy. She continues cleaning house and other houeshold chores till sunrise when her mother walks to her and asks why is she working alone without informing her, she should go and rest. Upasana says she will finish chores alone. Mother thinks everyone thinks Samrat studies hard, but truth is Upasana works hard whole day. Upasana then decorates pooja thali and tells her mother that she is decorating it for Khandoba’s pooja for Samrat and baba’s success. Mother praises her trhat she has magic in her hands, Khandoba will be very happy. Upasana asks what about baba. Mother stands sadly. Upasana asks her not to get sad as she finished all her work and baba will be very happy, did baba wake up. Mother says not yet. Upasana then she will visit Khandoba temple soon, says she prepared hot water for Samrat dada’s bathe and will prepare breakfast soon. Mother says she will prepare breakfast. Upasana says vaidya warned her not to bear smoke till her health improves, so she will prepares breakfast. She picks pooja thali, picks a flower for Dwarkamayi and leaves. ?Mother thinks Upasana works hard than Samrat.
Sai walks on street with Shyama and Udhav chatting with them when Upasana walks to him and shows her pooja thali. Sai says it is very nice, senses Upasana’s father waking up and asks her to return home while he submits this pooja thali at Khandoba temple. Upasana gives him thali saying for her both Khandoba and Sai are same. Once she leaves, Shyama praises that Upasana is a jovial girl. Sai says one cannot predict by smiling face what Upasana is going through. Upasana rushes home and sees her father awake who yells at her for going out before serving Samrat. Mother tries to speak, but father warns her to stop; then continues yelling at Upasana. Upasana says she had gone to temple to pray for him and Samrat. Father yells that they don’t need her prayer, if god would have heard women, only men wouldn’t have been poojaris in temples; her son is studying hard and she is roaming out instead of serving him. Upasana says she kept water for boiling, Samrath should have just taken it. Father yells if she wants her son to do girls’ chores, how dare she is, etc.. Upasana stands crying.
Sai returns to Dwarkamayi with Shyama and Udhav and sees a few guests. Taya informs him that a few guests have come who are traveling for teerth yatra/holi pilgrimage and wants rest in Dwarkamayi for sometime. Sai says they are his special guests and should be taken care of well. Baizamaa and Appa bring vegetables and fruits. Guests asks why so much fruits and vegetables. Baizmaa says they are Sai’s special guests. Sai prepares food and serves them from his hands. Guests discuss Sai himself is serving food. Sai says stop. They all stop. Sai says they can continue. After finishing food, Sai washes their hands and asks Tatya and Udhav to bring guests’ belongings. Tatya says they will stay for a few more days. Sai asks to do as he says. They both bring bags out. Sai says he can fall now. Roof falls down. Guests thank Sai for saving them and asks why is he serving them so much, they are just farmers. Sai says serving piligrims is like serving god and continues his moral gyaan.
Precap: Upasana’s father’s friend asks him if he will celebrate Upasana’s birthday tomorrow. Father says only son’s birthdays should be celebrated as daughters are burden and he must have done good deeds that he got a son and also bad deeds that he got a daughter.
