Actor Ajaz Khan has been a part of many controversies in the past. Now there is news that he was detained by the police today owing to several controversial statements he made recently in a Facebook Live session.
According to a report in The Republic, the statement made by him is as follows, “If an ant dies, a Muslim is responsible, if an elephant dies, a Muslim is responsible. If there is an earthquake in Delhi, a Muslim is responsible, i.e. a Muslim is responsible for any incident. But have you ever thought who is responsible for this conspiracy.”
His statements spread like wild fire and soon caught everyone’s eye. And soon, Khar Police has charged him under the 153A, 117 and 121 acts of the Indian Penal Code.

I take it there is no freedom of speech in India. Yet Indians emigrate to countries like the UK and no sooner over here, make demands in relation to freedom to religious worship, protection from racial discrimination etc. Yet these same Indians in their own country deny other minority groups the very privileges that they enjoy. India is and always will be prejudicial and medieval in their thinking.
Oh, by the way there was nothing Controversial in what Ajaz Khan said, he was just expressing an opinion, and I did not see any malice in his comments.
