Hi, y’all! Sorry for this update taking so long, but last week hasn’t been the best. Anyway, I hope you guys can forgive me for that and enjoy this update whole-heartedly. Here are the responses from the previous episode:
Hi Sumisha, thank you so much! I’m glad you’re liking the growing bond between Riddhima and Vansh. About more of their moments, there will be plenty once there’s a mutual agreement for the relation, but I’ll try and include as many as possible for now too.
Hi Nifa, so Vansh has essentially lost the challenge, but they’d be friends by the next episode. Thank you so much, though!
Hi Rishiiiiiii, thank you so much! I’m so happy you’re liking the way the story is shaping up. As for two episodes in a day, I’ll try but I won’t be promising. I’ll try updating quicker, if not two updates in a day, though. I’m sorry!
Hi Seanna, thank you! Win or no, they’d be friends. Stay tuned for episode 11 for the friendship. 🙂
Hi Astha, thank you soo much! And I’m so sorry for always making y’all wait. 🙁
Hi Anhi, thank you so much!
Hi TSA, thank you so, so much!
Hi Shivangi, thank you so much!
Hi NA, thank you! Riddhima will be more comfortable around Vansh in the coming episodes, hope you like it.
Hi Riansh Lover, they’ll be friends by next episode, but also you can wait for me to break their bubble of happiness very soon. (sorry!) And yes, Riddhima doesn’t believe in love, let’s see how things change for the better.
Hi KV2711, thank you so, so much! Your words mean a lot to me and I can’t stop being grateful. Thank youu!
Hi Rianshfan, thank you!
Hi Jayashree, thank you so much! You’re such a kind soul, glad to have come across. 🙂
Hi Vasu, thank you!
Hi M, thank you!
Hi Chhavi, thank you so much! I’m glad you liked the previous episode. I hope to hear more from you in the coming episodes.
Hi Disco Priya Ravichandran, thank you so much! Thank you for being so supportive.
Hi Diha, thank you so much! I’m glad you’re enjoying the story and I hope you continue to, too.
Hi Anu, thank you so much! I’m grateful for the insightful response, really helps me understand what can be/ needs to be focussed more on. I do hope to hear more from you.
Hi Sahada, not yet. Riddhima’s agreement and consideration for the marriage will be shown in detail. Her conversation with Ragini was just a genuine talk of how, regardless of her marrying Vansh or no, Ragini wouldn’t be able to marry him. That’s all. Also, thank you for reading Luka Chuppi again, means a lot to me. As for the covers, I’m not really sure – let me know what you meant. And thank you so much! I’m glad to know you liked the previous update.
Hi RiyaVaghani, thank you so much! I hope you enjoy the rest of the story too.

BECOMING MRS. RAISINGHANIA – EPISODE 10: THE STORM
Riddhima walked inside the library and looked around, subtly appreciating the architecture of the space. The entire property was engulfed in regal architecture and she was in awe of how beautifully it was designed.
The entire day Vansh had been around her, talking to her about some or other thing – she knew, it was because his two days’ challenge was coming to an end, but regardless of that, she’d been noticing the different shades of him. However, she’d formed a very firm opinion of him and despite how much she wanted to look beyond the façade, she just couldn’t forget the way he’d demanded a marriage from her.
She could call him a gentleman, if not for that one instance. She’d considered herself ruthless at times, though, because regardless of how well he behaved with her, she didn’t let herself soften. Perhaps, it was just a perception, but she was very afraid that he’d misuse her weaknesses.
Or maybe, he wouldn’t. Because Vansh Raisinghania was a lot of things, but an opportunist. With the endless chances he’d received, there were a lot of times, he could’ve seduced her and rendered her speechless, because that man knew exactly how to light her nerves. Yet, he hadn’t, and she was both grateful and ungrateful.
She hated how he occupied her thoughts, though, and as a small sound echoed in the distance, she decided not to think of him. She gently pushed open one of the windows, but then she saw it. A flash of lighting in the distance, and the dark dense clouds smothering the sky.
She needed to walk back to her room, but as the sound echoed and resonated, she flinched. She hated this. She hated how streaks of lighting and bad weather could affect and overwhelm her. She hated how she felt so weak, that she couldn’t stand straight and walk back to her room.
Moments later, when the sound had died, she’d determined to stalk out of the library to her room, and she was almost ready, but the lights went out and then the space darkened. She waited for the inverter, but as a few moments whirled by, it started pouring heavily outside and the thunder struck again.
She flinched again, murmuring to herself timidly. After several moments, she sank on the floor and crawled under one of the tables, wanting to find a safe hideout at least. She pulled up her legs to her chest and caged herself, lowering her head and touching her knees.
When the thunder began striking continuously, Riddhima knew she didn’t have a way out. With each passing second, she stopped feeling and her body numbed, her mind blanking.
She pressed herself against the table and sank on the floor, the sounds too loud for her to return to normalcy. She couldn’t think anymore, and she sat there nestling to herself. When the memories began fading from her mind too, she knew the fear had enveloped her tighter and she just shut her eyes.
And then the storm began in earnest.
————
Once in his study, Vansh couldn’t concentrate on working anymore. He’d constantly found himself driving closer to Riddhima and it wasn’t what he’d wanted. He’d wanted to steer clear of her. After all, she was the reason why he was forced to marry her.
He knew she loved Angre and the two of them had decided unanimously to spoil his twin’s life. He was supposed to hate her and torture her endlessly, but something didn’t fit in with the other pieces of puzzle.
Riddhima had always told him how she didn’t believe in love and even when they were in the garden in the morning, she’d gone beyond herself to share with him. He hadn’t expected her to, though, and he’d been equally surprised when she’d begun unravelling about her own mother.
The confusions had overwhelmed him, and he didn’t want to think about it. Hence, he decided to wrap-up for the night and walk back to his room. Minutes later, when he was walking back to his room, he saw the open door of the library constantly slamming against the winds. He knew the weather had worsened after dinner and he’d asked the servants to ensure the closing of all the doors and windows. Perhaps, they’d missed this door.
When he walked closer to the library to shut the doors, he heard the soft whimpering inside and he furrowed his brows quizzically. Who was outside their room at this hour of the night? He walked inside hurriedly, following the muffled sound and as he bent down, he saw Riddhima shaking and quivering under the table.
He clenched in fear and quickly reached out to her in worry. She seemed too fragile in that moment and he could’ve sworn, his heart had wrenched in tension. He was clueless about what had happened suddenly because she’d seemed all fine during dinner, too.
Vansh: Riddhima! Riddhima! What’s happened?
He waited for her to answer, but he just heard her muffled whimpering and the constant murmurs. He leaned down to listen to her, his fingers wrapping around her forearm, but he quickly moved away as he touched her scorching skin.
She was burning in fever.
He touched her forehead to ensure and as she continued quivering against the cold winds, he realised how terribly ill she’d fallen. He quickly picked her up and walked to her room. He was still unsure of what had happened and as he carried her, he heard her murmuring ‘Mummy’.
————
Vansh dipped the cloth in cold water again and pressed it against her forehead. He’d continued doing it since the past hour and the temperature had slowly begun lowering. Initially, when nothing seemed to have been working, he’d considered calling the doctor and he’d dialled several numbers worriedly. However, later he’d realised that there was no network coverage due to the bad weather.
He pressed the cloth to her forehead and a wave of relief coursed through him as she slowly gained consciousness and moved her fingers. He moved away for a few minutes, willing to see if she’d open her eyes and as she slowly, blinked her eyes open, a small smile curved the corner of his lips.
Vansh: How’re you feeling?
Riddhima: Has the storm stopped?
Vansh: Almost. It’s just drizzling now.
Riddhima sighed a relief and sat up on the bed, while Vansh arranged a few cushions and pillow behind her to help her sit. He stepped away after she’d seemed comfortable in her place and sat beside her on the stool, looking at her keenly.
Riddhima (moments later): What?
Vansh: You’re scared of storms?
Riddhima (shaking her head): I-uh, No…
Vansh placed a hand atop hers and gently pressed upon it. She looked up at him, a look of genuineness fleeting across her features.
Vansh: You can tell me, there’s no need to lie. I’m not going to tell it to anyone.
Riddhima: I-uh, Yes. (lacing her fingers together) Not the best memories from past.
Vansh: Do you want to share?
Riddhima (shaking her head): I’ve had enough for the day. I cannot… (looking up) Thank you!
Vansh: You don’t have to thank me. I wouldn’t have just left you out there, while you were being so miserable. (inhaling deeply) How did you reach there, though?
Riddhima: I wanted to get myself a book to read before dozing off, but it just…
Vansh: It’s okay, Riddhima. All of us have something to fear from. It’s okay if you’re afraid of thunderstorms.
Riddhima: Acha? (Really?) Then, what are you afraid of?
Vansh: Um, let me think. (looking at Riddhima seriously) You, maybe?
Riddhima looked at him and then threw a cushion from beside herself, hitting his forearm.
Vansh: Ow! What was that for?
Riddhima: Don’t ask me when you know.
Vansh: You know I love riling you up, na?
Riddhima: You know I love puncturing that ego of yours, na?
Vansh laughed loudly and as the gravel sound echoed in the room, a small smile curved the corners of Riddhima’s lips.
Vansh: What’re you smiling at?
Riddhima (shaking her head): You should stay happier. Your laugh is very contagious.
Vansh (tapping her nose): Yours, too. You should smile more often. There’s no need to show the world that you’re cold and emotionless.
Riddhima: Vansh, I…
Vansh stood up and pressed his lips against her forehead softly before stepping away, and looked at her.
Vansh: You should get yourself some sleep. I’ll get going, Good night!
When he turned around to leave, Riddhima wrapped her fingers around his wrist and he turned around to look at her as a small smile covered her lips.
Riddhima: Thank you, Vansh!
Vansh: It’s Mr. Raisinghania, right?
Riddhima: Abhi ke liye, Vansh. (For now, it is Vansh.)
As Vansh walked out of the room, happiness filled their insides and the two of them retired to bed with pleasantness coursing within themselves.

Once I study more on literature, I might be able to give a more beffiting definition to this update.(I had to read it thrice just to realize that). For now, I’ll just say that it is amazing. When you portray Vansh as a gentleman, I can’t help but grin. Coming to drama: So unique and unexpected! Great work Riaa. Please update soon.
What I meant about the covers:Lukka Chuppi-Riansh love each other and prefer to be in the other’s arms.Becoming mrs Raisinghania-Vansh is demanding marriage, Riddhima is being resistant. It is as if one cover tells the other’s story.PS: Im not saying you change them. They are perfect and I like the current one more.

Lol you took so long to update that for a moment I was worried you were no longer interested in writing the story. But the chapter was well written as usual. I was glad that you revealed Vansh motives for choosing Riddhima. It was nice to see her opening up a little. I love how you are portraying their relationship, like it’s not a sudden I love you or something. It’s a welcome change.
Stay safe and stay well 💕 and happy 2021 if your next update will be then 😊
