#RIANSH – LOVE, EMOTIONS & RELATIONS – Episode 53 – Happy Rose Day Sweetheart!!!

Episode starts with….

Riddhima: I Am impressed Mr. Rai Singhania (wink)

He pulls her closer with her waist puzzling her as this is the first time he held her waist in that way and the proximity was something which never happened in all these years. The feeling of heavy heartbeats, heavy breathing, her hands turned numb, her body was turning cold. She could feel herself melting. She could see the intensity in those black eyes. His eyes were pouring the love and care he has for her and she was experiencing it for the first time. For the first time, she’s noticing that. She wanted to immerse herself in his arms the way he was handling her. She fell for him once again.

Vansh’s case wasn’t any different. It was for the first time he took the bold step of pinging her towards him without hesitation and at that moment he felt it to be the best thing he did. His heart was pondering as if it’s going to sneak out, his breaths were heavy with her one glare. His eyes fell on her brown eyes which had curiosity, puzzled look and were deep enough for any person to immerse themselves. He could feel her body turning cold due to the proximity and it amazed him.

Their eye – lock was broke by the clock. They departed and awkwardly stared at the clock, it struck 12 am. Something strikes Vansh

Vansh: Riddhima, wear something comfortable,

Riddhima: Why to change for sleeping (confused)

Vansh: Oh my!!! Just change. We are going out

Riddhima (shock): Vansh the time is 12!

Vansh: So???

Riddhima (excited): Sachi!!!!!!

Vansh (smiling): Ha baba! Go and wear something comfortable for a walk

Riddhima rushed to the closet while Vansh occupied the washroom. After a while, Riddhima came out wearing Buttoned Pullover Sweatshirt with Tracks while Vansh opted for Striped Cotton Sweatshirt with Tracks and a hoodie. They both made sure they’d sneak silently to make sure they won’t disturb anyone. Once out they took the car when Riddhima spoke

Riddhima: Vansh you said we are going for a walk

Vansh: Arrey we’ll go to the beach so till their car is needed right

Riddhima nodded and sat beside him and was enjoying the ride. The cool breeze was taking away all her worries and was giving her physical peace.

Vansh: Riddhu!!! You’ll catch a cold.

Riddhima: Vansh please na!

Vansh smiled and let it go. They reached the beach and parking the vehicle they were walking around experiencing the cool gust soothe their pain. The waves were washing their troubles and the feel was giving mental peace and Riddhima was running and shouting as a kid does. Vansh was smiling at her childish behavior. She was flying like a free bird.

Vansh: Riddhu you’ll fall

Riddhima: You are there to protect me so am not worried.

She was jumping around playing with waves and sand. She was walking swiftly ahead of Vansh while he was following her smiling. Then his glare fell on a group of men sitting on a corner of the beach and his senses wake and he rushes towards Riddhima and catches her hand shocking her and turning around he was taking her away in opposite direction.

Riddhima: Vansh! What happened?

Vansh: Riddhima we shall go this side

He bought her close to him by holding her through her shoulder as if protecting her. The way he held her showed his care and concern for her and she felt safe and secure in his arms. But she felt something fishy so to make sure she turned around to find the group of men and then a smile crept on her face seeing his care and possessiveness. She fell for him once again. He didn’t leave her hand and started walking with her slowly to catch her pace. She didn’t bother to leave his hand. She felt safe and she didn’t find anything else important than his arms. She just followed him.

They reached their car and was about to go when Riddhima saw an ice cream truck

Riddhima: Vansh!!! Vansh!!! Ice cream!! (making a face)

Vansh: In this cold? (raising eyebrows)

Riddhima: Vansh please na (making a puppy face)

Vansh smiled and went towards their

Vansh: Ok!!! Wait here don’t go anywhere.

Riddhima nodded. He was about to take 2 ice – creams but when he turned, he found her missing and this freaked him. He was searching for her and when he turned around he saw Riddhima on her knees with a bunch of roses in her hands. Vansh was astonished. He was clueless! He was unable to even react.

Riddhima (smiling): Vansh your presence is like the fragrance of Roses, it refreshes me when I am feeling weary, it comforts me when I am hurt, and it cheers me up when I am sad. In this Bunch of roses, Yellow is to show our happiness, White to show our purity, Black to show our darkest secrets, and red to show our …. …. love. I feel when I am with you, I am like a rose, not because of its beauty, but because I am able to bloom and grow with you. Happy Rose Day!!!

Vansh was speechless to hear her confession. He who always thought of making her days special has taken the initiative and he couldn’t even react. He felt as if his dream came true.

Riddhima (making a face): Vansh!!! My knees are hurting

Vansh back to senses, he lifts her up

Vansh: Am sorry!!! I was lost!

He takes the bunch and she hugs him which is reciprocated by Vansh. He places a peck on her forehead

Vansh: Thank you so much! I didn’t expect this from you and now am short of words!!

Riddhima smiles and he hugs her once again capturing the moment forever in his heart. He adores the bunch where there were many roses and he smells it to inhale the fragrance his love gave him. He then leaves to get the ice – creams. He gets one chocolate and another tutty – fruity and they settle on the bonnet and enjoy their ice – cream talking random stuff!

They came back home and retired to bed as usual one on the bed and the other on the couch. After many days they had a smile on their faces while sleeping.

Its 8:30 am, VRS Mansion,

Riddhima woke up with a smile but didn’t find Vansh beside her. Her smile vanished but then a small smile crept on her face when she turned towards the side table. There was a note along with a dish

“Good Morning, Sorry I have an important meeting to attend so am leaving early. Thought of waking you but then the peace I found when you were in deep slumber crept a small smile on my face so didn’t feel like disturbing your dreams. I prepared your favorite Paneer Mayonnaise with an extra cheese sandwich, have it. And I’ll be waiting for your arrival in the office. Hope you’ll come. And if am not wrong your anger vanished as you are smiling or should I say blushing!!! Chalo I’ll meet you in the office. Take Care

Your Vansh”

Indeed, Vansh was right! She was smiling by the end of the note. She blushed and rushed to get ready to reach his office. Ate breakfast and wearing Red foil printed crop top with a layered lehenga and golden ethnic earrings and rushed to his office.

Its 11 am, VR Enterprises,

Aditi (Receptionist): Hey isn’t today Rose Day! So, what are the plans?

Daksh: We’ll be giving either Yellow, Pink, or Red Roses to the opposite gender

Alok: And we all are planning to give Red or Pink to Riddhima ma’am

Riya: And we are planning the same for Kabir and Vansh Sir!!

Diya: Do you think they’ll accept?

Ritu: Not sure about you all but today am giving only Red to Vansh sir and will give him a hint on my feelings for him

Akash: Don’t you think you are taking a risk? Vaise toh even am in view of giving red to Riddhima. Not sure how she’ll react!

Anu: Don’t you think she’s in a relationship with that person who was here a few days back?

Alok: What’s an issue if we try? We’ll get clarity right! If she has someone else in her life then we’ll give yellow what say, guys?

Everyone agreed while even females were on same thoughts

Aditi: Ritu, don’t you think even Vansh sir may have someone else in his life?

Ritu: Am damn sure he’s waiting for his Ms. Perfect and so am not going to let this chance go! I’ll only give him Red

Riddhima reached the office and was about to go when she was passing through reception, Aditi interrupted her

Aditi: Ma’am sorry! I didn’t mean to insult you. It was just ki I wasn’t aware of you being sir’s friend so I stopped you. Am sorry

Riddhima (smiling): It’s ok! I didn’t mind. I was just not in the mood to argue so showed some attitude so don’t mind.

Aditi: No Ma’am I understand. Vaise am Aditi

Riddhima: Hi Aditi. Am Riddhima

They shook their hands and Riddhima left towards Vansh’s cabin and as soon as she opened the door she found the cabin empty, she went and took her seat assuming him to be in the washroom but when he didn’t come yet, she asked the office boy and he informed that he was in the conference room for some meeting so she decided to check on designing work and started going around. Many male staff tried to grab the opportunity and were proceeding towards her when she received a call so they left towards their seat waiting for the opportunity

Riddhima: Aryan! Hey Hi

Aryan: Hey Riddhima! I need your suggestion

Riddhima: What happened!

Aryan: Hey I thought about what you told about revealing my feelings to Siya and I think you are right there are chances she might assume I love her only when her condition is normal and I don’t want that sought of an impression on my love and I want to confess so how do I do?

Riddhima: Am happy Aryan you decided to reveal and yea from today valentines week is starting so why don’t you start your confession from today!

Aryan: Riddhima! (excited) I got my idea of how do I do and thank you so much! I’ll do it vaise bhi she was asking if I can take her to Vansh’s office today so I’ll do it there itself

Riddhima: Perfect vaise even am here come asap

They hung the call and after supervising the workers even she left towards Vansh’s cabin and this time Vansh was back and was engrossed in his work of signing some papers and the person beside him pissed her and her happy expressions turned into jealousy

Vansh was engrossed in signing unaware that Riddhima arrived and that the person beside him was trying to get closer to him. As if air sent a message, he sniffed the air and recognized the fragrance, and without lifting his head from the sheets

Vansh: When did you come Riddhu!!

Riddhima was shocked and had a broad smile while the person beside him was puzzled about how he recognized her when she didn’t make any noise to grab his attention. Vansh and Riddhima stared at each other and they both had a broad smile on their faces and Riddhima came to sit

Riddhima: A few minutes back, saw you weren’t there so went to check the ongoing work

Her expressions once again changed when her sight fell on Ritu who was beside Vansh and he observed it and felt it cute. Ritu didn’t want to spoil her character in front of Vansh so

Ritu: Am sorry Ma’am for my behavior. I didn’t know about you being sir’s friend so I crossed my limits. Hope you forgive me

Riddhima glared at Vansh and then her

Riddhima: It’s ok. I didn’t mind in fact I was in bad mood so was a bit rude to you. Am sorry for that

Ritu: No Ma’am I totally understand!

They gave each other smile and Ritu left

Vansh: So!!!

Riddhima: You need to tell! How was your meeting?

Vansh: Perfect! After a long time am free of tension now! Vaise where is Kabir? I thought he’ll come with you

Before Riddhima could react or say anything they saw Kabir entering

Kabir: Hey hi guys!

Riddhima: Where were you?

Kabir: Went to get this beautiful rose for you (wink)

Riddhima: Eww!!! Don’t you think this is so cheesy!! (making a face)

Vansh: Why the hell will you give a rose to her? She’s my wife! (anger and jealousy)

Kabir and Riddhima laughed and then Kabir spoke

Kabir: Aww!! My bro, I bought a yellow rose for her. She’s my friend

He gave a rose to her and she thanked him and took his seat

Kabir: One second you referred to her as wife matlab your misunderstandings sorted?

Vansh: Of course, you helped us a lot (sarcasm)

Kabir understood it and glared at Riddhima who was trying not to laugh

Riddhima: What are you staring at? He’s aware of your so-called prank about Ritu on me and divorce on him

Kabir’s eyes popped out and stared at Vansh who was approaching him. Kabir realized his death is near and was about to run but was stopped by Riddhima as she stood in front of the door.

Kabir: Arrey yaar Riddhima you are supposed to help me not kill me

Riddhima laughed while Vansh held him and they were having funny banter as Kabir was trying hard to escape him and was running all over the room. Once tired, all started to laugh

Kabir: Uff!!! Jaan bach gayi! Vaise you guys need to thank me not kick me

Riddhima: Thank you for? Creating misunderstandings?

Kabir: It was my plan to get you both closer

Vansh: Acha???

They were having fun when Aryan along with Siya arrived and they had lunch together

Siya: Aryan can we go to a movie after lunch?

Aryan: Sure Princess!!

Siya blushed and before anyone could speak anything else, Aryan decided to reveal his feelings.

Aryan (giving yellow rose): Siya, you are one of the kindest and sweet friends I have ever got. And today I would like to confess that I want you to be my side as my best friend until my last breath

Vansh had an instinct and to confirm he glared at Riddhima and she nodded her head in approval and he was happy to the core and Kabir along with Siya was shocked and stared at Aryan blankly and after digesting the fact Siya accepted the rose and smiled at him

Aryan (giving pink rose): Siya, this rose is to let you know how precious you are to me. You are the rose petals those I save between my book pages and do not want to share with anybody

Kabir and Siya were stunned as only Riddhima and Vansh were smiling at his gesture and were waiting patiently to see Siya’s reaction. She was blushing yet was hesitant to take it but then she took it and smiled back

Aryan (nervous) (giving red rose): Siya, If I had a rose every time I thought of you, I’d be picking roses for the lifetime. You are the only rose of my garden. Like the rose can fill the room with fragrance, you have filled my life with happiness. Happy Rose Day.

All were waiting for Siya to react as she seemed totally lost and was unable to understand. Vansh and Riddhima were waiting for Siya to step into this relationship. Though Kabir was shocked, he was happy to observe that Aryan loves his little sister and nothing more matters to him. Siya was in tears now and this shocked everyone

Riddhima (worry): Siya! Siya you ok?

Vansh: Siya! No need to think much. We all are with you in this. Whatever may be your decision we are here with you.

Aryan: Siya am sorry if I hurt you. My intentions weren’t to hurt you. I don’t want to force you into anything. I just wanted to let you know how important you are to me.

He was about to leave when he felt a hand stop him and turning around he found Siya smiling with her moist eyes and taking the rose from him giving a huge surprise and shock to all the persons and he hugged her tight while Vansh and Riddhima hugged each other in excitement.

Aryan: Am so happy Siya! I Am unable to express it in words.

All congratulated them and they bid bye to leave for the movie. Kabir too left for his cabin when

Vansh: Riddhu I want to say something.

Riddhima: Ha bolo

He excused himself and locked the door to make sure none would interrupt them and then went towards his draw and getting a bouquet of red roses, he bent towards her puzzling her

Vansh: Wonderful combinations in this world: Heart & Beats, Night & Moon, Music & Songs, Roses & Love, Fish & water, You & Me. A rose is not just a flower but a symbol of true love. It shows that true love never ends. Even if love is full of thorns. I would still embrace if for I know that in between those thorns, there is a rose that’s worth all the pain. And that rose is you for me. Just like roses, you brighten my life and bring joy to it. Happy Rose Day Sweetheart!!!

Riddhima was emotional. She was having tears of joy. She bent to his level, grabbed the bouquet, and hugged him expressing her happiness, he too reciprocated.

Vansh: I always wanted to call you sweetheart. So, if you don’t mind can I call you so?

They got up and to his surprise, she tip toed herself and kissed his forehead. It was a sudden gesture that he was unable to digest. Their moment was broken by a knock on the door. Vansh wiped her tears and kissing her forehead and went to open the door, it was Kabir

Kabir: Vaise, what were you both doing closing the door (raising eyebrows)

Riddhima was blushing as Vansh was smiling and Kabir was trying to understand the situation. Vansh understood Kabir’s glare and to avoid further leg-pulling session

Vansh: You had any work?

Kabir: That’s not the answer to my question. Why do I feel like you are trying to hide something?

Vansh: You are over – thinking

Kabir understood Riddhima as the way she was adoring the bouquet. He had a broad smile and

Kabir: Vaise ye bouquet is so awesome

He grabbed the bouquet from her hands and ran out of the room swiftly leaving Riddhima & Vansh shocked

Riddhima: Vansh!!! Am not going to spare this Kabir

She ran behind him while Vansh was smiling at their childishness and started doing his work. Kabir ran towards staff cubicle section followed by Riddhima and everyone there weren’t understanding what was happening. After few escapes, Riddhima finally caught him and grabbed the bouquet and was caressing it with love and this gesture bought smile on Kabir’s face and shock cum surprise on the staff

Daksh: Why is she adoring that bouquet?

Anu: Maybe her boyfriend gave?

Alok: We just cant assume. We need to give it a try.

Ritu: Am not bothered about you all but now am going to confess. And am going to take her help

She proceeded towards Riddhima and Kabir who saw her was confused

Ritu: Hello Ma’am

Riddhima out of her world looked at her and then at Kabir and then gave a fake smile to her

Riddhima: Hii

Ritu: Ma’am actually I wanted your help

Kabir: Riddhima’s help!! In what? (confused)

Ritu: Actually…..

Ritu was hesitant to reveal in front of Kabir and Riddhima understood her

Riddhima: Its ok Ritu you can speak in front of him

Ritu: Ma’am actually I have joined the office a year back and from day 1 I have feelings for Vansh sir … I tried to express myself many times but never succeeded and today am here for your help as I learned that you are his best friend. So, if you could help me by guiding me as to how do I express my feelings such that he accepts me. And today being rose day, I want to give him a red rose and am afraid what if he doesn’t accept!! Can you please help me!!!

Her statement came as a shocker and Riddhima’s expressions changed and Kabir who observed it was stunned.

Kabir (thinking): What the heck!!! She’s asking a wife to help in trapping her husband! Oh Godd!!! This is going to create troubles now! I always thought this Ritu will stop her this stupidity but today she crossed all limits. And Riddhima’s expressions show how keenly she wants to kill Ritu. Now what do I do!!!

Riddhima (thinking): How dare she! How dare she ask me to help her in trapping my Vansh! God, please kick her from here before I lose my patience. How did she even expect me to help her! Am I a fool that I’ll hand my Vansh to her and tell “lo behan aaj se mera pati tumhare (sister from today my husband is yours)” My foot!!!! I’ll kill her if she even eyes my Vansh!

Kabir decided to intervene and before he could say anything

Anu: Ritu, we are going into sir’s cabin for rose day celebrations join us asap. (turning towards Kabir) Sir we need you too

Kabir gave a fake smile and nodded as Anu dragged Ritu from there and while going

Ritu: Ma’am, please help me. I sincerely love him

Riddhima lost her patience and was about to kick her but Kabir stopped her

Riddhima (angry): Kabir leave me!!! I’ll kill her!! How dare she! She’s asking my help for my Vansh! And now she proceeded towards his cabin to reveal her feelings. Her feelings my foot!!!! KABIR I’LL KILL HER!!!!!!!!!

Kabir: Riddhima! Riddhima! Riddhima please, please calm down. We need to go there to see what’s going to happen!!

Riddhima calmed and taking a long breathe walked into his cabin where whole staff was present for the celebrations and she stood beside Vansh as he observed rage in Riddhima’s eyes and understood she’s burning but didn’t understand why. He glared Kabir who gave him a look as if dead. Before he could speak to Kabir or Riddhima, Shreya spoke

Shreya: So, guys like every year this year too we shall celebrate rose day and as per the tradition we’ll pick one among Yellow, Pink and Red roses and give it to the one you feel deserved among the whole office and express your feelings. So!!! Let’s start

Few female staff were giving yellow roses to few male staff and vice versa and few even shared pink and red among them. Few female gave yellow and pink to Kabir which brought a smile on Riddhima’s face and this bought smile on Vansh’s lips. And then came some shockers too which upset Riddhima and Vansh

Anu (pink rose to Vansh): Sir, this is for you! Hope you don’t mind and accept it

Vansh glared at Riddhima through the corner of his eyes and he could see her expressions turning from smiling to shock and upset. He plastered a fake smile and took it

Few staff did give yellow while few gave pink to Vansh and Kabir.

Daksh (with red rose towards Riddhima): Ma’am since you came the office got its glow and maybe my life too. I adore you. I respect you. I would be glad if you are in my life forever as my friend and…. I hope you are understanding!

Kabir, Vansh and Riddhima stared him in utter shock! They weren’t sure how to handle the situation while Vansh was burning in rage. He almost hit his fist to the desk and Kabir with Riddhima observed it. Riddhima was stunned as she didn’t expect this. She was aware that if she didn’t handle the situation, then Vansh would lose his cool.

Riddhima (fake smile): Daksh am glad you respect me but I’d like to tell you that you’ll find me by your side as a friend forever. But!! But as per now I cant accept your red rose. Hope you understand!

Daksh: Ma’am if not red you can accept pink at least

Riddhima: No Daksh I’d go for Yellow!

He gave her yellow and departed and the same happened with Alok, Akash and many other male staff. Kabir was keenly observing Vansh’s expressions whenever any male staff gave either a pink or red rose to Riddhima

Kabir (whispering): By the time this celebrations finish bhai is going to kill someone for sure (giggles)

Riddhima (whispering): I guess yo are right but not only he even am going to kill that Ritu if at all she approaches Vansh with red rose. Am damn serious (anger)

Kabir (thinking): Goddd!!! Save them!

Ritu approached Vansh and all including Riddhima and Kabir were waiting to see which rose she’s going to pick. Kabir was praying and Riddhima was trying to control her anger and Vansh who observed this was confused

Ritu (red rose – Vansh): Sir, I always respected you. I always looked up to you. I always made sure I reach to that extent where you can be proud to see me. I always adored your presence. I always felt that there’s something which is attracting me towards you. I have suppressed my feelings but they overpowered me and today I’d like to tell you that I Like You and I hope you accept this Red rose.
