Destiny Has It – Chapter 22

Riddhima: Just answer me. Was all your care and affection fake? Was all your care just a facade? Answer me. Did you take the bullet for me? Was the bullet a part of your plan ? To make me feel guilty?

Vansh: No, it was not. The bullet was never a part of my plan. It was that blo*dy Aryan who planned that. Every moment I spent was one of the best moment of my life. Your angry face became my obsession. As while being angry, I could see the real you. You have been always a mystery which I wanted to solve. There was  always a pain behind your smile which was always noticed by you. I had the remedy of it but that wasn’t the right time (saying this he hugs her)

Riddhima(breaking the hug): You didn’t tell me the truth that time as you felt that wasn’t the right for me to know the truth. But it’s not the right time for me to know the truth. Can my hatred of so many years change suddenly? Will the time come back when I was dying in the pain of losing my brother? Can you change the time when my heart had to cry out loud or when my I was dying to take revenge?  No! You can’t change that time. I lost so many years of my life only by running something which was never justified.

Vansh: Please calm down and listen to me.

Riddhima: What is left there to listen?

Vansh: My love for you

Riddhima: Oh! It’s your love because of which you let me endure the pain alone. It’s your love which kept me away from my brother for so many years. Your love is nothing but a poison which kept me in the darkness of revenge all these years.

Vansh: I never intended to fell in love with you. I.. I just don’t know how by staying with you I fell in love with you. I always wanted to discover your mystery. You were always  a puzzle for me which I wanted to solve. None had the guts to challenge me like you did. Your pain was visible in everything. (Saying this he wipes Riddhima’s tears)

Riddhima: Your love has got no meaning in my life. It was, is and will always be a symbol of betrayal for me. Your love was the one who helped me to destroy myself (she starts walking backwards)  Your love was the one who kept in darkness. You will never get me. I will go away from your sight for forever. (She disappears in the darkness)

Vansh: No!!!

Angre: Boss, did anything happen?

Vansh: Nothing

Vansh(in mind) : From when did I start day dreaming? That too a dramatic one like this? Vansh relax! You know it well that you don’t love Riddhima. You just care for her. Care and love are two different things (But love comes from care 😉) Riddhima and I are never destined to be together.

In Riddhima’s room

Pieces of glass were lying in the floor. Blood was coming from Riddhima’s hand. She was sitting holding the bed with all her hair messed up. Her eyes were swelled up due to continuous crying.

Sejal was completely shocked after seeing Riddhima in this condition. After Kabir’s death, she is seeing Riddhima in this condition for the second time. Sejal froze at her position. Ayan understood well the reason behind Riddhima’s condition. He knew it well that Riddhima would be broken when she will hear that the deal of Switzerland is postponed as her planning of all these years will be at danger. It was out of his imagination that Riddhima will react in this way.

Riddhima hearing some sound looked at the door. She saw Ayan and Sejal standing there.

Riddhima(with tears): I failed, didn’t I?

Ayan quickly goes towards Riddhima and makes her sit on the bed while Sejal goes to bring water for Riddhima.

Are you mad? What have you done to yourself?

Riddhima: Nothing. I could do nothing. I failed to do anything.

Ayan: Just because the deal is postponed, it doesn’t mean that you failed.

Riddhima: It surely does. You know it well if the plan wasn’t implemented tomorrow then we could have done nothing in future.

Ayan: How can my sensible Ahana talk like this?

Riddhima: I couldn’t take Kabir Bhai’s revenge. He won’t be able to get peace, right? His sweetheart failed. No…no…. this can’t happen. I can’t sit silent now. Why… Why didn’t I start implementing my plan earlier? I….. I…. can’t blame my destiny as it’s all my fault (saying this she puts her feet on broken glass)

Ayan seeing her madness couldn’t control himself anymore slapped Riddhima. This is the first time Ayan raised hands on his sweetheart. He wasn’t finding any other way.

Ayan: Just look into my eye Ahana. Your revenge is equally mine. Don’t forget that Kabir was also my brother. Kabir’s revenge will be surely fulfilled. You just give me 72 hours if you don’t get any news related to Kabir within this time then I promise I won’t say anything no matter what you do to yourself. But in these 72 hours, you have you listen to me. You can’t disobey me any how within these hours (he was about to speak more when he saw Sejal standing at the door with a shocked face)

Sejal (stammering): Wa..water for you

Ayan makes Riddhima drink the water while Sejal cleans her wounds and applies medicine on it. After cleaning Riddhima’s wounds, Sejal removes the broken glasses from Riddhima’s room. Sejal then asks Riddhima to lay down. Riddhima without saying anything does that.

Ayan helplessly looked at Riddhima’s condition. His heart wanted to shout and scream that Kabir is alive and the revenge she was planning to take all these years has no meaning now. But he couldn’t do that as he knew that Riddhima is not in a state to know the truth. Sejal signals Ayan to come outside. Ayan could understand well from Sejal’s signal that she has heard their conversation and now she wants to question him about that. Ayan sensing that he cannot let the turn matter turn worse before it gets solved. So, he comes out of Riddhima’s room to talk with Sejal.

Ayan: Why have you asked me to come here? Don’t you think Ahana needs us now?

Sejal: I mixed sleeping pills with her water. She will now peacefully.

Ayan: What? Are you even serious? She will get very upset with you.

Sejal:I will handle her. She needed to take rest now. She wouldn’t have slept without it . Now just answer my questions

Ayan: What?

Sejal: Do you and Riddhima know about the whereabouts of  Kabir Bhai’s murderer?

Ayan: Yes

Sejal: Is that man responsible for Riddhima’s emotional breakdown?

Ayan: She broke down because the planning she was doing all these was supposed to have a result in the Switzerland deal. But since the deal has been postponed, she felt that ger plan will fail.

Sejal(controlling her emotions): From when are you both planning this?

Ayan: After Kabir’s accident

Sejal: Did that man intentionally postpone the deal?

Ayan: He don’t have the power to do so.

Sejal: She planned to come here intentionally, right? You knew that taking revenge from Kabir Bhai’s murderer had become Riddhima’s one and only goal. She was suffocating herself from inside just because of this. She only looks strong from outside. You know how much broken she is but still you didn’t care about her health. Instead of punishing the criminal with the help of law, you decided to involve Ridhu in all this mess. Nature has its own punishment. We humans don’t have the right to make other’s live miserable. You yourself don’t understand this thing. Now because of you Ridhu’s condition has also deteriorated. You could-

Ayan (shouts): Just shut up! I am silent but that doesn’t mean you will keep saying anything and I will keep tolerating it. And I don’t think I am answerable to you (saying this he goes from there leaving Sejal all alone there)

Sejal’s Pov: Everyone is doing what they are feeling right. Now I will do the things which I feel is right for Riddhima and no one can stop me from that. I know who can help me in this.

Sejal then dials a number.

Sejal (over phone): Hello, Vihu! Sorry, I mean Vansh.

Vansh (over phone): Seju, I don’t think that you need to call me Vansh as once I used to consider you one of my best friends and I still do it.

Sejal (over phone): Okay, Vihu. I have something to tell you.

Vansh (over phone): What?

Sejal (over phone): I can’t tell you about it niw. Meet me tomorrow in the park near our house at 6 am.

Vansh (over phone):Will you be able to wake up so early? Weren’t you a late riser?

Sejal (over phone):I will be able to come and I won’t be late as the matter is very much important for both me and you.

Vansh (over phone): Okay. Take care of yourself and Riddhima. Will see you tomorrow morning at 6 am.

Sejal (over phone):Bye

Vansh’s POV: Something is surely wrong. Sejal sounded too much serious. A carefree person like her is only so serious when the matter comes to their loved ones. She said that the matter is important for both me and her. It means that she wants to say something about Riddhima. But what does she want to tell me about Riddhima? About her revenge? I don’t think Sejal knows about all these revenge. Riddhima isn’t from those who will reveal everything. The thing which Sejal wants to tell is surely important. I guess it won’t be good if I ask Ayan about it. Waiting for tomorrow morning is the only option now.

On the other hand,

Ayan’s Pov: Today was supposed to be one of the most happiest day of my life as I could get rid of the guilt. My buddy Kabir is alive. This day has equally given me pain. I had to raise hand on my Ahana for the first time. She was behaving crazily. I wasn’t understanding what to do then. Everything happened in reflex action. She will forgive but the problem is I can’t forgive myself. Even Sejal came closer to the truth. A cold hearted person like me has only two weakness, my two sweethearts. These two persons affect me the most.

Ayan was thinking about all of this when something strikes his mind.

Ayan: Aryan was the only person apart from me who knew the real identity of Vansh then. I had doubt on him that he planned to kill my sweetheart that day. But after whatever I witnessed today, I am confirmed that he is the one. Now I need to find out everything about that day. But I have to make sure one thing that none should come to know about it. If Aryan was involved in all of this then most probably, someone influential supported him. It was not possible for Aryan to play all this game alone. I have to find out about that person.

Ayan then calls someone and asks him to send something.

Ayan: All things will be cleared tomorrow morning.

Don’t let hatred overpower so much that you have no control over yourself. Be it love or revenge, one should never be blind. Only after someone becomes blind in any emotion, destruction comes.

When one way closes, look out for the others. There never can be only one way for a destination. Manzil ek hoti hai lekin safar har raste pe ake baadal jati hai. Safar kitna bhi dardnak hona kyu agar manzil tak pohchati hai to use chunna chahiye bina haar mane. Breaking down can never be an option.

I am writing very much serious maybe. First time tried to write something emotional. Don’t know how it went 😅😅😅😅  I personally didn’t want Riddhima to break down like this but it was necessary for the upcoming storyline. I am planning some revelations in the next episode. The next episode will have more than 2500 words approximately. So, it will take some time to type. I will publish it as soon as I finish writing. I was asked to give a Riansh moment. I couldn’t think of any Riansh moment  except the dream 😅😅  There are less chances that were will be dreams in the upcoming chapters. So, that’s all for today. Stay home, stay safe.
