Aditya walks to Malini’s room and seeing her weak condition thinks her condition is because of him. Malini gets happy seeing him and walks towards him. He makes her rest again. Daadi asks where he had gone. He thinks Malini knows he had not gone for work, so he shouldn’t lie anymore. Dev says he should have called Malini once at least. Adi reminisces Pagdandiya incident and apologizes. Anu enters and says he should be sorry and asks if the phones didn’t work where he went and if work is more important than Malini, etc. Dev says let us go out and let Malini and Adi speak. Anu leaves fuming. Adi asks Malini to take care of herself. She says she wants him also to take care of her. He says he knows he didn’t go for work. She says she has trust on him as he is honest. She asks if she forgave him. She says she fears that his mind is somewhere else even when he is with her here and asks if this distance will clear or not. Adi reminisces editor’s warning not to ride on 2 boats and thinks he cannot hurt both Imlie and Malini and should take a decision. Malini thinks if he is not ready to clear the distance and speak clearly with him. Adi says he will tell her everything. Anu walks in and tells Malini its time for her medicine. Adi asks her to give Malini’s medicine list, he will give it to her at home. Anu says she will not lt her take Malini home and she made a mistake by giving his daughter to a wrong man like him. Malini says she wants to go and requests thinking she needs to speak to Adi. Anu agrees.
Adi takes Malini home reminiscing recent event. Family rejoices seeing Malini. Aparna hugs her and says good she returned home, asks why she looks ill. Adi says she fell unconscious due to weakness. Family gets more concerned. Pankaj asks Malini if Adi apologized her. She says there is no need for that. Family insists. Adi apologizes Malini. Nishant asks him to mimic cock and accept punishment. Malini says ther is no need for that. Family takes Malini in ignoring Adi. Adi thinks family is worried for Malini when she went out for 1 day, but didn’t remember Imlie once as she left 1 week ago, if they forgot Imlie. Malini notices him and thinks he looks like he forgot something and not her behaving like her life partner, will she get her life partner back.
Imlie takes Prakash’s phone and calls Adi. Adi tells Malini that he got many calls from this unknown number and picks it. Imlie speaks. He walks aside. She asks if he is fine. He says yes. She asks if she called him at wrong time and says she shouldn’t have called him, but couldn’t control him. He thinks she should have been with him and even he is eager to meet her. Malini thinks why is he speaking to unknown number for so long. Imlie says she will disconnect call now. He hopes she should continue speaking and drops Malini’s medicine. Iklie disconnects call. Malini notices that and asks him to give her medicine. He searches it and says sorry. She says she will take medicine herself from now onwards as he would he away most of the time. He doesn’t react and sits silently thinking of Imlie.
Imlie thinks why she is feeling happy talking to Adi. Mithi asks if she is fine. Imlie says she wants to return to city and join college. Mithi says good she can return to her in-laws. Imlie thinks she will stay in hostel and will kill her feelings for Aditya. Malini wakes up after Adi sleeps and calls back Prakash’s number. Imlie is sound asleep, so Prakash takes phone. Imlie wakes up and thinks where did phone go. Prakash picks phone. Malini says she got calls from this number, who is he. He says Prakash. She asks from where. He asks who is she. She says she is Malini Tripathi, Aditya Tripathi’s wife. He drops phone in shock. Imlie walks to him, asks why did he bring phone here, if Adi called back. Prakash asks who is Malini. Malini thinks she was doubting Adi wrongly, he is tensed regarding work, and feels guilty for doubting him. She hugs him. He wakes up in shock. She asks if he saw a bad dream. He asks her to sleep and thinks fate has entangled his life, one sister loves him and he loves another sister, its better to die than being stuck between 2 boats.
Precap: Prakash tells Imlie that he feels Malini wasn’t lying. Imlie accepts that Malini is Adi’s wife.

Deepz why do you take so much stress on behalf of the Malini every day when you know it’s not going to change, this is Imlie, this is literally her show, no matter what the show is focusing on her, her emotions and his needs, you will not find peace if you continue like this. just see your tweets for weeks on Imlie, it’s just a list of outrage and complaints from malini, it’s not good for you Health wise, constantly losing the peace for a show … quit the show and find one that won’t hurt 😘´
Felt like rewatching silsila again,adilie gives me kundini vibes except here imlie is adi first wife, malini is differ from mauli, malini is flawed positive character,hope she realize she deserve better than this adithya, yes she is in for more pain n more heartbreak but that will pave way to make her strong person emotionally.

Why destiny has to support cheating, extra marital affairs, in silsila kunan are destined to be together and here also destiny wants adi n imlie to be together at the cost of cheating their loved ones, still i find it disgusting how adithya lived with malini the elder sister till day m now suddenly fallen in love with elder and is going to romance her
My only question is for good seven years did Adi and malini loves each other,so why suddenly fall in love with imlie and abandoned seven years relationship just like that, though it happens cos love is uncontrollable but it too fast for me cos he just abandoned malini just like that,am waiting till when everything will come to limelight and want to know what will happen then

I really do pity Aditya. People do misunderstand affection for love. I think Malini seems to be only girl he knows,I think she was more like friend always there for him so he waa comfortable with her. He never had fights break up all Normal roothna manana type typical bf gf relationship as Malini literally overlooked his all flaws never questioned him just moulding herself to adjust with his requirements so he never actually thought about something missing in their relationship. What he wanted.He was more passionate about working than being with his gf. He is also very prideful and bit egoistic person so when pd happened he was literally vulnerable helpless so once back his first instinct was denial just forget everything and go on with life. Yes he should have informed family and he did try to explain to Malini but seeing her reaction, anyone will get scared to tell the truth. And also at that point he was still traumatized from experience and scared of pd people coming after him and his family afterall however good is sk he is still rebel. Now he is slowly understanding the consequences of his decision. And Imlie is quite likable and strong person and somewhere deep down he acknowledged his responsibility for her so it’s possible for him to come to love her. Atleast he is better person than dev.

Exactly. My opinion as well. No matter the circumstances Aditya was married to Imlie before Malini. So Imlie is his wife and there is nothing wrong in caring for and loving her. He has that right. But then what happens to Malini? Aditya has not been fair to everone, himself inclusive. His fear of telling the truth has compounded the whole problem. Anyway let’s keep watching and see how the writers unravel this problem.

So, I have been silently reading the comments on here. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.
My take away from this is, Adi never loved Malini but loved the friendship they shared/share.
& years is quite too long in y opinion for a marriage to happen when a relationship exists.

women are a bit more patient, men are quite impatient particularly when they’re in love and want to get married. I never got that husband and wife vibes from Malini and Adits. There was no type of emotion Adi side that implied that desperately loved Malini. She became a second nature reaction as how one will be have if it was their mom, sister or any relative.
Look at the difference…it did not take him very long to realise he loved Imlie. He was ill yet he took her to her exam. He wants to do things that make Imlie happy. Yes he wrong for hiding the truth of his relationship with Imlie but I am sure he does not love Malini, marrying her was literally just the next step in their relationship since they been together so long. I doubt that he truly wanted to marry her. He cares about her but never loved her and somewhere deep down I think Malini know this

You cannot call their relationship lustful, they were even too timid to hug! And it is NOT extramarital as Imlie and Aditya were married first! You should be more upset with Dev whose relationship was extramarital, poor Meethi waited all this time for him to come back and marry her only to find he had beem married when she fell in love with him, and he has not had the guts to admit it in 20 years. It is his fault that all this has happened. I agree that Malini and Aditya do not love each other, they are simply best mates who did not realise that their relationship was wrong for marriage. Lots of youngsters grow up together in school and marry thinking it is the next thing to do, only then realising it was not love at all, especially when they meet someone they really do love. It happens an awful lot!
Excluding all the over the top drama like bullets etc which are for trps, I can’t help but like this show. Not for the romance or anything but because of the complicated relations it brings. Like @naveen said, even I never felt that Adi ever wanted to marry Malini. His work was always more important and she was always priority number 2, if that. That didn’t feel like love. Rather, it was something like care, friendship mistaken to be love. He tells as much in this episode that he had never felt like this in 7 years.

I think it’s very natural for that to happen and he felt safe in that bubble. When something threatened that bubble, Adi panicked and went along with the lie which any human is liable to do.

It was also natural of imlie to want that haq but give it away when she saw that Aditya would never want her like he wanted Malini but if you remember, it was his mother’s speech that convinced her. She thought that his family also would prefer an educated girl rather than an uneducated villager who they are just getting to know. She thought it would be better to give away her rights at that point.

Yes, all that nonsense about a married woman never leaving her sindoor coming from a 18year old girl was irritating, but as someone who has been born and brought up in a city with all sorts of comforts and education, I’m still told that WHEN I GET MARRIED, ONLY THEN AM I SETTLED IN LIFE. You can hate the fact that Adi and imlie are going to hurt Malini but I don’t think you can ever hate the people themselves. They are not perfect. If you hate those people, then you are putting yourself on a pedestal and calling yourself perfect. Everyone lies, either to protect themselves or others. Dev was a bad person to imlie, Anu and mithi but he is also an excellent father and excellent son. Anu tells the truth about everything but she tells it in such a bitter way such that she insults everyone. Besides, she can have a problem with Adi’s non prioritising Malini but I have never understood why she needs to taunt him about his lack of money.

Adi is a good son, reporter, person in general who got caught in a bad situation and kept making bad decisions until it’s all going to burst in his face one day. Imlie is a good daughter, good student with some misguided ideas about marriage and her love for her mother stopped her from telling the truth.

It’s a filmy dialogue, but it is true. Don’t look at the deed, look at the intention behind the deed. Adi never intended to hurt Malini. He did try to tell her but she couldn’t handle it. I feel like he should have told one other person, someone from his own family. That was the mistake he made. And he’s going to pay for it. Imlie couldn’t have told her mother which I understand. I don’t agree because her mother is extremely strong and I love her but you never want to hurt the people you love. You would rather lie and she did the same. But she could have told satyakaam. Thought that would have ended in bullets.

So to you legalities matters more than rituals etc. Adi does not love Malini, so are you blaming Imlie for that? Mithi and Dave were never married so there is a difference. Imlie is Adi’s wife by all rituals and he has accepted it. If he truly did not, he would’ve left her at a hostel and taken care of her education. Why take her to his house? Village people know Adi as Imlie’s husband whereas city people know Malini as Adi’s wife. They are both his wives. It is hard to digest but it is what it is. Imlie need not do anything, adi is the one who need to sort things out.

How people can justify this criminal? If this man is justifiable than all extramarital relationships are justifiable with the excuse that the men never loved the wives and that the new lovers are their “true love”, is always like that, this type of cheater men always find true love after many years of relationship, and this tipe of shows are justifying and glorifying this characters. So I’m in the UK and I’m frankly astounded that the team behind this ridiculous excuse for a show are trying to justify and indeed validate a “love story” borne out of characters that were forced into marriage. In the modern world and in a civil society such a union is absolutely illegal.
I can only imagine those that are titillated by the romance of the two lead characters are entirely backward in their thinking.

Aditya had 7 years of relationship with malini and how can he forget malini so easily. In this 7 years he never felt his true feelings for malini, but rather he got this true feelings for Imli who’s villagers got married them forcibly which does not make any sense.Malini has always understood aditya, she sacrified her happiness to make sure aditya is always happy. Malini did everything what a girl should do for her love, but aditya didn’t see her goodness and said that Imli understand him better than Malini. I mean seriously this serial is such a crap showing something too much nonsense .
Imlie is a hypocrite…she forced herself in aditya’s life… Aditya being a big loser fell for that cunning female…she played all her game chanting sita maiyya maiyya…if there was such a character in real life and such a charactrless male , they would have been kicked in their arses and thrown out of the society.. showing crap in the name of love story and sita maiyya…
