Who am I to them? Riansh OS

Hi guys I’m back with an OS. I really can’t believe that soon we won’t get to see immj2 anymore. I will really miss them and hope to see them again soon. I don’t know when we will get to see our Rrahel and Riansh back but let’s hope soon. I am so addicted and attached to this that I can’t even think of leaving it. Anyway I hope we keep the same touch with each other in the ffs. Please let’s not stop ffs.

Guys I just got to know my exam ends on the 24^th and not the 23^rd so I won’t be able to post my ffs till 25^th. I will try OS but I’m not sure.

@Priyu di, I am working on your OS too, I will try my best to give it soon at least before the show ends.  

So this OS is mainly on Vansh and his relations kind of taking after Goa and Siliguri.

New York

Vansh was sitting in his office, checking some files out for the next meeting. It was evening time and most of the employees had left except him and his assistant. He was preparing for the meeting next day from before to assure thorough and perfect work done without any mistakes. He was so engrossed in work that he lost track of the time and it was past 6 pm. Just then a call interrupted him, but him instead of getting pissed he smiled at the caller id. It was his lady love; Riddhima.

Vansh: (picked) Hello sweetheart! (smiling) Sorry I know I’m late today (glancing at the time) I’ll leave right away. (packing up)

Riddhima: Vansh! (she spoke loud) Come here quick! Please!!

Vansh: Riddhima, what happened? (worried) Are you and Ridhvan fine? Anything happened?

Riddhima: Leave all that and come quick please!

Ridhvan: Mommy!! (shouting)

Vansh: Riddhima why is he shouting? Is everything fine? You’re scaring the ghost out of me! (panic) I’m coming, just don’t disconnect! Stay on line. Are you listening to me….Riddhi

Till then phone had already disconnected which worried him more. Negative thoughts overpowered his mind. Could it have been his long lost enemies? Could it have been another danger on him? Kabir? Ridhvan and Riddhima were his main and first priorities especially from the 5 years since they left VR mansion to New York. He couldn’t let or see anything untoward happening to them. He quickly rushed to his car and instructed the driver to rush to their house. He was not the same VR that was in India, he had left that VR back there and started afresh. He was just Vansh.

He tried to keep as calm as he could and kept his gun ready. In all these years he never thought of using it; he had promised Riddhima that he wouldn’t use it for them and for their symbol of love however today he had to, to protect them. As soon as the car reached their house, he quickly got down and ran to the door. He opened it with his keys and pushed the door open to see Riddhima sitting on the sofa and looking at him with tears in her eyes. He could see nothing except her and went straight to her ignoring everything there.

Vansh: What happened Riddhima? (cupping her face) Is everything fine? Why did you call me so urgently?

Riddhima: Vansh (tears rolling down) they are here (pointing)

Vansh: Who? (curious)

Vansh followed Riddhima’s finger to the direction in which she pointed. He saw his entire family there. After 5 years, he saw his dadi, Ishani, Aryan, Angre, chachi. Tears welled up in his eyes and he looked at Riddhima who was looking at him too; in tears. His heart seemed to have gotten some peace finally to see them all standing healthy and unharmed in front of him however all their deeds flashed in front of him, enraging him. His hands fisted in anger and unexpected to them he rushed to his room.

The family were at last at peace when they had found Vansh and Riddhima. All these years they had realized what they had been doing to him. They wanted to hug him tight, shower their love on him and apologize too. But he went away. Riddhima got up and ran after him to their room while the family cried.

Riddhima: Vansh (trembling voice, crying) Please….

Vansh: (cut her) Riddhima why are they back! (anger and hurt)

Riddhima: Vansh they realize their mistake and I think it’s high time you should forgive them

Vansh: How Riddhima! (he turned to her and held her) What are you made of? How can you tell me to forgive those who tried killing you? (pain) I can never!  Who am I to them? Who was I to them? Huh Riddhima? Who? (pain and dejected) Was I just a money maker for them?

Riddhima: Vansh calm down, have a sit! Please! (requesting)

Vansh: No Riddhima! If it were never for that day then I perhaps wouldn’t have known their truth! Their ugly truth! They hurt you, gave you pain. All that time when you tried informing me I ignored everything thinking that my family can be rude to you but they can’t ever be that bad to ever hurt you! But I was wrong! (hurt and crying) I was wrong!! Leave alone you but me too!! Even though they never hurt me but each and every one had filth in their mind against me; Ishani, Aryan, Chachi! What not have I done for them? I gave them all the luxuries they needed but it was never enough for them! I toiled day and night for them but they never appreciated! (crying and fell on his knees) All they were concerned from me was money! Nothing else! I was a money making machine for them! They are not even worth to be called as a family!

Riddhima: (in tears, kneeled down beside him) Vansh please

Vansh: (cutting her) No, not today! Dadi who used to love us to more than anything, in Goa was instigating me against you! She wanted to take us apart! No matter what problems we had then between us but that doesn’t mean that I should leave you! Ishani, always taunting and insulting you, almost killed you! She accused you of an affair with Angre! How? Aryan was always behind money along with chachi but I thought they are family, right they are family but just for namesake! When they needed money for their luxuries they would come to me, buttering me up and when they don’t need me they throw me emotionally! (crying and breathing heavily) Ishani and Siya said that they hate me, hate their own brother who did everything for them since childhood, for whom he forgot his life and his passion. I took the blame over myself when Ishani did the accident but still I’m selfish. Siya, I did everything to give her legs back, pampered her but still I’m Hated. It hurts Riddhima!

Riddhima took him in her arms and hugged him tight, consoling him. He had gone through a lot after they had left India. He had decided to leave his family for once and for all, let them fend for themselves and live without him as they had wanted. Ridhvan filled his life with happiness once again and he had forgotten all that happened till when they came in front of him once again. Riddhima hugged him for almost 5 mins when he felt fine and strong once again he broke the hug. Truly love was his strength! He looked at Riddhima realizing something.

Vansh: Riddhima, Ridhvan? Why did he scream when you had called me? Is he fine? (worried)

Riddhima: (cupping him) Jaan he’s fine, and he screamed because he was being tickled (chuckled) and you know how he’s ticklish!

Vansh: (chuckling) of course gone on you! Where is he?

Riddhima: He’s with….

Ridhvan: Mommy!! (shouting from the hall) Mommy!!

Vansh: Ridhvan, why is he shouting?

Vansh and Riddhima went to the hall where everyone was waiting. Vansh ignore everything that was taking place there and just focused on Ridhvan who was playing and tickled by Siya. He ran to him and took him in his arms, planting a few kisses on his face.

Ridhvan: Daddy! You are back! (happy) Now we will play

Vansh: Aww my baby, are you ok? (he nodded innocently) we will play whatever you want but first I need to finish some work (eyeing everyone else) so I do that then we play.

Ridhvan: Okay daddy!

Vansh put Ridhvan down on the sofa and told him to sit there. Riddhima came near him and stood there. Vansh coldly looked at everyone standing there, his eyes ran across every one of them, he had no feelings of love for them anymore. Siya broke the silence

Siya: Bhai I’m really sorry!! (tears) I should have believed you…..i regret for not doing so. I wish I listened to you that day when you told me not meet Vyom! He was just using me! (Siya felt guilty)

Vansh: (coldly) Like the way you all were using me!

Ishani: Bhai I’m sorry I know I always taunted you and insulted you in anger but you know how much I love you! All I wanted was some attention from you! (sad) I missed you so much!

Vansh: (coldly) missed the selfish brother. (Ishani felt guilty)

Dadi: Vansh beta, let the bygones be bygones!

Vansh: (coldly) I remember some wise old lady telling me that those who hurt you should be thrown out of your lives whether it is your own love or wife! (eyeing her) And I add on to it, whether it’s family too! (dadi felt guilty)

Aryan: Bhai I know I was always jealous of you and your success but

Vansh: (cutting him, coldly) Too old excuses Mr!

Chanchal: Vansh beta

Vansh: (cutting her, coldly) Better you not say anything!

Angre: Boss or bhai? Which one shall I call you?

Vansh: (teary) Angre if you think I’m capable of being called as your bhai then sure otherwise Mr Vansh would do as a few people had not seen me as capable to be their brother after all I was selfish. I’m not your boss anymore. (pause) If you all are done then can you please leave?

Dadi: Vansh I know we all wronged you but please at least try and…..

Vansh: (cutting her) listen to you? Listen to what? After all that has happened you all still expect me to listen to you all so that you can manipulate me in your fake love once more. But you know what (smirking) Mrs Indrani Rai Singhania, not this time! I guess you must have come here after realizing that without me the entire business and empire is falling? You will have no more money for your leisure! Well I’m sorry to say that this is the wrong place. This is Vansh’s abode and not Vansh Rai Singhania, in fact who is he?

Siya: Bhai don’t do this because of us

Vansh: I’ve already done it. And which bhai?

Ishani: Bhai please! (towards Riddhima) Riddhima I’m sorry too! Please tell bhai, I know I’ve done a lot on you, I taunted you, insulted you but please give me a chance.

Vansh: Are you sure that’s all you’ve done?  Riddhima just tell them to leave! You’re not going to forgive them this time! (loud and shouting)

Riddhima: Vansh! (alerting and signaling to Ridhvan) Calm down

Vansh: (glancing at Ridhvan) Sorry (calm) Please leave, all of you! Enjoy your stay in New York!

Angre: But boss

Vansh: Angre I know you found us out but please Angre take them back from where you brought them from.

They all tried speaking one last time to him but he was adamant of not listening to them. They had wronged him all those years and he couldn’t let it continue anymore. Riddhima went to him and held his hand tight understanding how difficult the situation would be for him. When they all were leaving after a lot of trial Vansh spoke

Vansh: Who am I to you all? (dejected)

The entire family turned in guilt and were in tears. They never deserved him, or rather he didn’t deserve such a family that was full of snakes! Riddhima hugged him once again and Ridhvan joined too while they looked at the door, silently watching them leave.
