Nazdeekiyan: Chapter 2 (Riansh fan fiction)

Riddhima’s POV:

I quickly came down by the help of wooden staircase attached to the window. I kept this in evening.
I came down with much difficulty as, I was wearing a heavy lehanga. I came  outside by a secret way. Which only I and my friends knew, it was a small passage hidden in grass. We created it in childhood for playing hide and seek. I wanna thank the one who created “hide and seek” game!

After, waiting for around two mins only. The cab arrived. The very first thing I did after the cab started was to remove the old sim card and fixing a new one. I saved only Sejal’s number in the new one.

After, ten minutes, I felt that I saw a jeep behind the cab in which I was there. Wait, did baba sent them? I looked at one of the men and realised, yes, I am right. He is sent by my baba. Thankgod! That Jeep turned to different direction and didn’t noticed us.

I told the driver to increase the speed. but instead he stopped.
“Why!?” My inner self screamed.

“What happened?” I asked.

“Mam, I can clearly see you ran from your wedding”

“That’s none of your business. Right?”

“Mam, see the news”
He showed his phone. In which a video was playing.
“Famous business tycoon Raj Raichand’s daughter, Riddhima Raichand…..”

I was like, what?
I am sure, this is that Angry man’s work.

“Mam, I can’t take you further from here. You have to leave this cab”

“Why?”

“Mam, my job could be at danger. Please mam!”

I didn’t had any choice. As soon as the cab left, I realised how silent the place was. There was no one there, except me!! I was so lonely in my life as well as here!

The Jeep can come anytime, and the only thing I could do now was to run!

I started walking faster and due to fear when it turned to running. I didn’t even realised. Because, it won’t be safe to be at this place and the way that Jeep took, leads to this road only!
God! I wanna die! My phone had no network too.

I started seeing the number of street lights increasing from two to five or six. I was so tired.
I took a break from running and took some fresh air. After murmuring- Riddhima, you can do it.
I again started running.

I came infront of a car. Thanks to bappa! The driver stopped in the nick of time or else I would have died.

I was about to escape from the sceniorio, I created. The driver of car, stopped me and- “Do you even care of you life?”

Yeah! I do, but life doesn’t cares of me.

“I am in hurry! Let me go” I said.

Just then, I saw headlights of a vehicle in the rear view mirror of the car.
I was not sure that, it’s that Jeep or not. But, it’s better to hide, then checking that!
I quickly hid myself in the car.
Nothing was clearly audible in the car, but I guess the men in jeep asked him that did he saw me or not?

Hope, he denies, I prayed, closing my eyes. The Jeep left. I will give you one hundred one ladoos, Bappa! Thankyou so much!

I heard a voice- “Who were they?”

“People” I said, looking outside and making sure they left.

“I know that, why are they behind you?”he said, interrogating me.

“They are sent by my father, I ran from my marriage” I said looking down.

“I can see that!” He said, taking a glance of my face, and again looked away.

“Can you drop me to the nearby hotel?” I said in a requesting tone.

“Do you have any booking, there?” He said trying to make sure, will it be safe or not!

“Yes” I said with proud. All thanks to Seju!

“Okay!”

Aww how sweet. How can be one so helpful. Is he having some bad intentions? Wait, I’m wearing jewelleries!! I need to some thing, now.

“There’s one condition” I said after thinking for few seconds.

“I am helping you and you are giving me conditions!? By the way what’s that condition?” The man said with suspicious look.

“You have to be always fifty centimetres away from me” I said, After keeping a quite long distance between us.

“Madame, you are mistaken. I am not that type of guy. And, I already have a girl friend. And let me tell you, I won’t be with you forever. I’ll just drop you to the hotel. And then, we’ll have nothing to do with each other. Clear?”

“I know that!” I said.

He dropped me to the hotel, in the way between, there was just silence. He was humming a song, though. At first, I thought he is having bad intentions. But, everything went well. When he dropped me, after that he met a person with whom he started talking.
I knew, I cannot enter the hotel, as the news must have reached to the hotel staffs till now. I wonder how come the one who helped me, is not aware of this news?
The one who helped me, I don’t even know his name. Let me give one….he helped me and didn’t even misbehaved or did something with me. How can he be this good?
So, his name will be Mr. Mystery.

I opened and hid myself in Mr. Mystery’s car’s trunk. He’s so careless! He didn’t even locked it. Leave, it’s good for me.

I didn’t even came to know, when I drifted in sleep in that uncomfortable position.
