Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya 2 fame Athar Siddiqui is currently enjoying a small trip to Dehradun where he surprised his cousin on her wedding day.
In an interview with BT, Athar said, “Dehradun is one of my favorite holiday destinations in India. And I wanted to surprise my cousin at her wedding. So I planned a small trip to the city. It is the gateway to the famous hill station of Mussoorie and the pilgrimage spots of Haridwar and Rishikesh. I’m in love with cold weather. Mumbai is always humid so whenever I’m free from shoots I plan to travel to some colder region.”
He adds, “There are various sightseeing options in and around Dehradun. From zoological park to waterfalls to revered shrines, Dehradun has it all. Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple, Sahastradhara, Robber’s Cave, Malsi Deer Park are some of the popular places I visited.”
Talking about the digital space Athar says, “I’m doing TV for a long time now. As an actor, I don’t want to limit myself. Digital space has been a relief for many actors during the pandemic. Also as the youth are more connected to digital shows, it makes it easy for us in connecting and entertaining them. Though TV will always be my home and priority I’m enjoying the other space too at the same time.”
Athar is known for his work in shows like “Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi” and “Parvarrish: Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi”.
