Rutuja Sawant who made her debut in the television industry with ‘Mehendi Hai Rachne Waali’ recently wrapped up her shoot with the team. Rutuja was essaying the role of Mansi in the show. In a recent interview with India Forums, Rutuja talked about the show, some memories, and more.
She shared, ”The last day was quite heavy and emotional because we never thought the journey will come to an end so soon because it was such a lovely show and we received so much love. However, now that it is going off air, everything hit us on the last day, and came to a realization that there will not be any call time every day, we will not go to the sets of Deshmukh house or Raghav house. You don’t know when will you go to a shoot next because you have to go home and look for work so when will we get to work and we are more scared of that, at least personally, I am. I hope I find work asap.”
Talking about the team and the bonds, she adds, ”I am going to miss my co-actors so much because everyone is so unique, and everyone had their unique personalities. I guess I have met very different type of people here. The thing is we are all staying away from our family so the entire team of Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali had become a family, We had a special bond with everyone, right from light dada to the co-stars, and everyone. I think it will take time to get it out. 9 months is not a short time and it is enough to get attached to people and that’s what happened, but I guess that is life, you attach and then detach yourself. I am going to miss the set a lot because that’s where we have had the most fun. I am staying alone in Kolhapur, so I have a lot of memories in the rented house also and I will miss that house as well.”
She concluded by saying, ”If I ever come to Kolhapur again, I will be reminded of all the MHRW memories as I have never stayed here for such a long time. It was an amazing journey, I met amazing people on the sets, I am thankful and grateful to God that I met such nice people and worked with such an amazing production house, I swear it was such a nice experience and I have similar or better experiences with my next production. I am grateful for all the 9 months I have spent with the whole MHRW family here.”
The show is slated to go off-air post November 27.
