Anuj stops his car seeing Anupama walking on street. He gets out of car nervously thinks she must have found his confession by now. Anu reminisces Anu confessing his love for her. Anuj thinks seeing her calm, it doesn’t seem she knows about it, sorry he will say something which will break her heart. At Shah house, Baa while drawing rangoli wishes shubh diwali to Bapuji. Bapuji says shubh/happy is incomplete and laabh/profit cannot happen without shubh. Anuj tells Anu that he was going to her house. She says even she was going to his house to ask something. He nervously asks what she wants to ask. She says he loves her since 26 years. He says yes and apologizes for messing up her life, he wanted to sort out issues, she should forget it. She says how can she forget in 26 hours when he couldn’t in 26 years. Bapuji asks Samar if something happened at home in his absence as Vanraj left home on Diwali and nobody is answering him properly. Samar says he will make a call to mummy and walks away. Toshu warns him not to tell Bapuji anything. Samar asks if he fears that Bapuji will bless mummy and Anuj, he is a typical mean son of Mr Shah.

Anuj apologizes Anu again and says not informing her 26 years ago was his mistake and informing her family now is his biggest mistake, but loving her is not his mistake; he can be wrong but not his love. She asks if love is not wrong, then why is he lowering his eyes. He looks into her eyes and says Anuj loves Anupama since 26 years and will continue till he is alive. Anu says thank you for loving her immensely; she heard his and Vanraj’s conversation last night. Samar calls Anu and when she doesn’t pick call thinks she must have gone to meet Anuj. He prays Kanhaji to protect Anu and Anuj’s friendship. Anu says she got an electric shock sometime ago, but yesterday shock was bigger than that; she was confused whether to get angry or feel ashamed of herself, but when Samar explained her, she understood. She asks how can anyone love anyone for 26 years without seeing or meeting her; even her love was one-sided, but she got relationships and love in exchange; how can he love her so immensely without expecting anything; she was okay in college, but now she is old with 3 children’s mother and 2 MIL’s DIL while he is still fit; she was think what kind of love it is that it couldn’t be defeated by time or situations; she heard a song in childhood that their love is like clouds, thunderstorm, water; his love is divine like Meera ji loved Kanhaji; thank you for loving her and respecting her so much; she knows she doesn’t deserve it and its his greatness to continue to love her for 26 years; his love is like a prayer, but she cannot love him in return and give him only friendship in return and should not hope anything from her.

He says he left hope when he saw her as Vanraj’s wife and since then his relationship with hope broke down; he had promised her not to cross his limit anytime and will follow it till his last breath for her friendship and to respect her trust. She says yes. He says it used to hurt with each breath hiding her love in his heart since 26 years, he is breathing freely today after 26 years; all thanks to her. She says this world will not understand his love, but her Kanhaji and she understand it. He says that is enough for him. He says their relationship is more than friendship and less than love. She describes woman’s relationship is confined with her parents’ and in-laws house, their relationship will not be understood, but she respects their relationship and wants him to support her forever. He nods yes. She says let us start a new relationship on diwali which is nameless but not meaningless, etc. They shake hands for their new relationship. Darmiyaan… song plays in the background. He wishes her happy diwali. She says let us start new with new new year.

    Ba will never understand that it is not Anupama’s fault and that it is literally her, and her son’s fault. But before that Ba is not mad that her daughter left the house, that the devi left the house. Ba is mad at Anupama because Anupama is able to move on in life, and Ba lost her scapegoat and her slave. You know when someone loses their maid for treating them unfairly, Ba literally loses a free slave that she was able to menntally abuse, blame everything on, make Anupama do all the chores, and make Anupama bend to their needs and wants. Ba always questioned Anupama’s character, even when Anupama was not caring for Vanraj she blamed Anupama, that Anupama was becoming too high and not doing her job. But not realizing that her son had something to do about it. Adding on when Vanraj brought home Kavya, Ba blamed Kavya that they were going to be looked down upon when Vanraj was the one that made it possible for it to happen. Not only that but once Anuj and Anupama started to work Kavya was able to manipulate Ba into thinking about what the society will think, not realizing that her son was the one that cost the most damage. Ba was fine with Anuj if he was going to work with Vanraj and Kavya but not with Anupama. This shows how little Ba really cared and loved Anupama. Dolly made a good point, that Be excused Vanraj’s affair, but can not stand Anuj and Anupama’s friendship, and Dolly said the same thing I was saying that why does it even matter if Anupama and Anuj are in a relationship, they are both single and have that choice out for them. Ba lacks the understanding that her son is not god, and not an angel that keeps the family tied together. Notice how the family broke apart once Anupama left the house. Anupama was the one that was keeping the family together, Kavya was able to break apart Vanraj and Dolly like it was nothing. Ba does not get the fact that Anupama is at no fault and that whatever is happening is because of Kavya, Vanraj and herself. Ba never respected Anupama as a human, only seeing her as Vanraj’s wife. So when they got divorced Ba thought that Anupama’s loyalty would stay with Vanraj, where Anupama will still do things for Vanraj and herself like she used to before. That Anupama would continue to stay in those four walls like always, not realizing that Anupama does not have feelings for Vanraj, and that whatever left is because they had a 25 year relationship and had 3 kids together, other than that Anupama had lost all those feelings. Ba is truly on her son’s side, since she can switch between Kavya and Anupama really quickly, because she likes either one of them whenever it fits her needs. Ba does not like Kavya either, the only reason why Ba is even on Kavya’s side and listening to everything Kavya is saying is because Kavya is taking care of Vanraj, and Ba is filled with hatred for Anupama. Ba believes that her son deserves everything, even when Vanraj was telling Dolly to sign the papers and hand everything over to him, Ba did not say a word. But the moment Babuji gave everything to Anupma, Ba started yelling that it was unfair, and that he shouldn’t have done that. Ba always saw Vanraj’s pain and suffering, but never saw Anupama’s, Paritosh, Pakhi, Samar, Nadani, Kinjal, or even Babuji’s pain. When these people are suffering and dealing with stuff Ba only saw how these people affected her son’s mental health and stuff. Ba was so quick to get mad at other people for talking back at Vanraj, but Vanraj would yell and mentally exhaust someone else and it is fine. What Anupama said was correct, that the respect, the questions Anupama is getting about herself, ba should be questioning Vanraj and Kavya since both of them had cheated on their spouses to be with each other. Ba turns the head the other way when it comes to Vanraj, and at this point she needs to be taught a lesson, I know that she is old in age, but the fact that she hates Anupama because Anupama did not want to continue to be questioned every day, and be used as a slave. Ba saw Anupama leaving the house, and taking her family, but Ba could not see her son, destroying another woman’s marriage, destroying his own life, marrying his mistress, abusing a woman till she got a panic attack, yelled at Anupama and casted doubts in front of everyone, questioning Anupama about affair when they are divorce and he is married to someone else. It just shows the lack of understanding Ba has and how it will affect her badly, her son is not always the right one, and that any one that is siding with Anupama is not manipulated by Anupama. Anupama created strong bonds with everyone, and was able to care for everyone, that’s why Anupama leaving was such a big thing and broke the family apart. Ba believes that everything is Anupama’s fault, and stating things like she has not been happy since Anupama has entered the house, but that is only because Ba does not have her happy, and lovely family, and Ba believes that Anupama is in the wrong. But ba is not getting that Anupama is not in the wrong and the whole reason why the family broke apart was Vanraj and Kavya. The foundation of the house does not break from the wind, the foundation breaks from inside the house which is basically Vanraj. Vanraj broke the foundation of the household, he allowed Kavya to deceive everyone, and ruined the family.

    Joker #2: Vanraj Shah
    Vanraj was the one to have an affair, when Anupama found out about the affair tried to manipulate and add fear, then when the family found out about it he blamed Anupama. He talked about Anupama not being as educated as him, always in the kitchen, where Anupama smells like masala, and then yells at Anupama that he can not share his problems with her. Though Vanraj stopped Anupama’s education, prevented Anupama from working, stopped Anupama from having hobbies, friends and above all that kept Anupama inside those four walls, Vanraj complained about Anupama at every moment while Anupama kept her mouth shut and just went with everything. Even after the divorce, and after the affair came out Vanraj missed the love and affection, and the small things Anupama would do for him. All of the chores, and how Anupama became his personal maid where Vanraj never had to lift a finger. Whenever Anupama tried to have romantic moments Vanraj threw her to the side, and when Kavya left the house and blamed everything on Anupama, Vanraj yelled at Anupama to the point she got a panic attack. Vanraj never loved Anupama but loved the idea of what Anupama is willing to do for him. While on the other hand Kavya is independent, she does things for herself, and does things that makes her happy. Kavya focusing on sending an email, or focusing on work and not Vanraj and his needs. Kavya forgetting that Vanraj likes tea and not coffee, where Kavya won’t take out socks, and a tie for him and that he needs to do it himself. Vanraj and Kavya are both selfish, that is the whole reason how they came together and started the relationship. When their needs were not being met at home, and instead of talking to their partner, they decided to have an affair. It shows how selfish Vanraj is, he bounces between Anupama and Kavya to get his needs met, adding on Vanraj never saw Anupama love, nor did he see how he harmed Anupama. Even after the divorce when Anupama was told to stay in that house, he was mad about it but slowly knew that this way he can still have his control on Anupama and get fed by her. Vanraj still believed he would be able to get the best of both worlds, but this came crashing down the moment Anuj stepped in. Vanraj knew that Anuj was the one that loved Anupama in college, that has a ton of money, and is basically willing to do anything for Anupama. Vanraj being compared to Anuj and then feeling less then, he then remembered how he treated Anupama. Slowly slowly when Anuj started to pay more attention to Anupama, and where Anupama started to just move on in her life Vanraj was not happy. Vanraj never moved on from Anupama despite cheating on Anupama. Vanraj always wanted Anupama to be right there, where Anupama would take care of him, take care of his family, take care of everything while he goes out and has fun with his friends. That is why he never wanted to divorce Anupama, and always waited for Anupama to take him back but it never happened. While Anuj on the other hand was getting the attention that Vanraj once had, Anupama was growing close to him, and had a job, and they were starting a new beginning together while Vanraj and Kavya are not able to actually be together, or able to understand each other. Anuj was everything he was insecure about, and Vanraj literally destroyed any relationship he could have with Anupama or Anuj. Vanraj never wanted to take the time to see Anupama’s love, or see Anupama’s devotion, while on the other hand Anuj saw it and loved it. Anuj does not see Anupama as this person he can manipulate to do whatever he wants but instead as a woman who has emotions, that is strong, independent but is also troubled by her family. Anuj loved Anupama for 25 years and never asked anything for return, he also was willing to let Anupama go because he was happy for her. Here is where the difference between Anuj and Anupama comes out. Anuj saw Anupama happy on her wedding day and left, since all he wanted was Anupama to be happy. While on the other hand Vanraj said that he would punch the guy, since Vanraj would want the happiness. Vanraj lacks the understanding and importance of Anupama, Anupama maintained all of his relationships for him. When he yelled at Dolly, and made Dolly sign the paper, and then told Dolly to get out of the house. After that he realized how dumb it was then blamed Ba and Kavya for not stopping him… if Anupama was ther she would have tried to repair and fix things, but here is the thing Ba and Kavya are not responsible for his actions, and what he does his is responsibility. Vanraj never understood that his actions are not caused by someone else but caused by himself and that he needs to takes responsibility of that, Babuji tried telling him that on New Year’s but Vanraj still did not understand what Babuji was saying, and that’s what caused the biggest downfall.

    Joker #3: KAVYA VANRAJ SHAH
    Kavya at the start of the show was a grey character, where Kavya knew what she was doing was wrong but loved Vanraj. But soon that love turned into obsession which caused things to turn upside down/ Kavya is smart in the sense that she saw the moment to turn everyone against Anupama but lacks the understanding that it is only hurting her. The only person that is making money in that house is Kinjal and if something were to happen she would happily leave that house. Adding on the cafe is going but not making break even, not only that but they have to pay the tax, and still have a lot to worry about, which then becomes Kavya and Vanraj’s responsibility. The property may be Kavya’s soon, but what Kavya does not get is that no one is on her side except the people that would ditch her in an instance. Where Babuji, Pakhi, Kinjal, Samar, Dolly, Sanjay, Mamaji, who are the majority side with Anupama and believes in her, along with Devika, and Anuj. On the other hand Kavya has Paritosh, Vanraj, Ba and sometimes Pakhi, which these people constantly flip flops on different sides whenever they need to get benefits. Kavya really does not have anyone on her side, that would actually support her and do everything for her and be like a maid for her. This is where Kavya will fall hard, if she pushes Kinjal, she (Kinjal) would leave, Samar lives with his mother, Babuji and Mamaji will go wherever they want if Kavya pushes too hard, and then that is left is Vanraj, Ba, and Paritosh, but Paritosh would most likely go with Kinjal or stay with his dad. And ba would never leave Vanraj’s side unless she is pushed to. Kavya may be winning a lot right now but sooner or later she will dig a big hole that she will never recover from and be her own demise. Kavya believes that everything that Anupama had should be her now, but forgets that Anupama used to live like a maid, who did not get respect and got taunts every single day. Because of the drama with Anupama, Kavya is being overlooked but the moment everyone starts to remember Kavya, she will be getting the treatment that Anupama used to get and it could be much worse. Kavya also has a very big ego forgetting where she came from. She taunts Anupama about Anuj but Kavya was the one that wanted to bring Anuj so then they can get all of their issues resolved, but the moment Anupama was chosen over her (Kavya), she took a hit to her ego just like Vanraj and started to lash out in Anupama. Also I believe another reason why Kavya always takes out her ego issue on Anupama is because of Vanraj’s behaviour. Vanraj may have always wanted Kavya but Vanraj always compares Anupama to Kavya. Not only that but Vanraj’s behaviour is so untrustworthy. Kavya truly believes that she will get everything when literally no one will support her the moment Kavya makes one wrong move.

    Anupama and her gyan and her family, I hope slowly she fall in love. They both need to be together in a relationship which was longed for 26 yrs. I agree it’s a woman empowerment show, but who says women don’t need love and be loved. Anupama can’t escape in the name of bacche, family etc. In today’s world also women who are divorced or widow find love and get settled. Anupama can grow with Anuj in love, her bacche would be still hers.

      @Josephine I agree with you. But I think she needs to grow to love Anuj overtime rather than simply letting circumstances dictate what to do in this case. I notice all the time she has made significant decisions, it is because circumstances forced her to take those decisions. She is willing to suffer for the sake of others until circumstances dictate otherwise. I am glad she has accepted their relationship is more than friendship and less than love. To me, that is good progress in the right direction. Now Baa is drama is what I don’t get. She thinks by forcing Anuj and Anupama to marry she is taking shagun 🤣🤣🤣. She is just bringing closer the inevitable. She is adding icing on a cake that is ready to be eaten even without icing. She is a blind fool. She has demystified the saying “Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.”

      @Josephine that’s true. I can totally relate and connect to Anupama as it already happened to my mother before this. She was a divorcee before this until she got married with my step father which does not been accepted by my grandparents till to date . It wasn’t an easy ride to my mom and of course Anupama to be in this relationship again as they had been cheated by a person which they regarded as their world. It’s not an easy when they need to fight the battle with their own people. Even i did guessed earlier that Anupama will appreciate and thankful to Anuj for loving her immensely but she wont easily accept his love. She needs time but first she needs to learn on how to love herself. It will take time for her to realize it but it will be worthwhile.

      Anu needs to come out of the scar of her failed love. For that she needs to stop taking abuses from the family in the name of pyar and parivar. She can never cut herself completely but must put her foot down.Toshu & Baa must be shown their place. Only then her wounds will heal and she’ll be able to love again

      If Baa has denounced Anupama as daughter or DIL while getting her signature on the land papers,how come she is dictating Anupama and Anuj to get married. I really feel sorry for Bapuji who spent 50 years with that disgusting Baa. If we are getting pissed off from last year (2020), then think of pitiable condition of Bapuji for suffering for 50 years. Bapuji please don’t worry and if you decide to divorce Baa, we are ready to bear all legal expenses, if any. But please please don’t keep mum and stand up whenever there is any wrong…sometimes your silence breeds wrongdoing by others. You are the only sensible person who deserves respect.

    Anu’s real mother needs to participate and show that shes still alive and she will takecare of her daughter not this f**king old witch Baa. who that f**k is Baa to decide on Anu’s life. I absolutely want Anuj and Anu to get married. I’m so glad Anuj confessed. I love scenes of Anuj and Anu together they are so cute i love the love vibe around them. They need to change and upgrade Anu’s dressing etc. Bapuji needs to know what happened during his absence he should. Im so glad Anu did not act stupid about Anuj but instead understood and thanked him. After all that shes gone through in her life she feels she is not deserving of a beautiful love life. To be happy. She will need to understand. I hope slowly she falls in love. Even in the women empowerment she still needs to be get love and to be loved and continue the women empowerment while she also enjoys love and to be loved.
    Need to see Kavya , Baa , Vanraj and Toshu suffer.

    @xxxxxx, I agree, Anupama mum should confront the old lady, how dare she repeatedly insult MaAn.
    She is totally sidelined, she has to come upfront and start questioning.
    Baa, has gone out of the way, I wont be surprised if Bapuji divorces her, atleast he will be in peace rather than pieces.
    @Lillian and @Riz, yes, slowly slowly love should mature from Anu’s side. I felt bad when Anuj felt rejected after proposing, but he is cute, somewhere he knows that slowly slowly Anu would love him.

    I never used to have any particular fondness for Samar as I found him slightly annoying but I must say he has steadily grown on me these past few weeks. His sensitivity,maturity and unwavering respect and love for his mother is deeply endearing. Toshu was a mistake. Samar was Anu’s blessing staring from kanha Ji himself🙏
    Literally the only good thing that ever came out of Shaitaan Shah Sr. Even the fact that he(vanraj) was a supportive brother and son isn’t even a redeeming quality he possesses because he just asked Dolly to “pay” for all his good deeds because she dared to call him out on his bullshit.
    Anu on the other hand is straight savage yaar😄 “thank you for loving me”…is the first reply Anuj gets after his epic 26 year love confession…poor guy😄…slowly but surely, they will come together FULLY. I just hope makers don’t drag it for soooooo long… we want #MaAn to be an item ASAP 🙏

    This was a great episode. You can’t expect Anupama to be anything other than overwhelmed by all this new knowledge about Anuj’s love. It will take time for her to give herself the permission to feel all the feelings that come with knowing you are loved like that, this is a traumatized woman, who hardly knows the extent of her scars. Give her time and she will turn around.

    Anuj got the best and most realistic outcome for now, and hope for a better future. Their scenes in this episode were epic. You could literally see the stone being lifted off his chest.

    This aadha pyaar, Aadhi Dostoyevsky can’t work. She won’t want to lose the Dosti, so it will slowly convert to a compromise (martiage), which will give her the safe space to fall in love.

    Baa is just doubling down on her bet that this is pure Ayaashi and he won’t actually be interested in her former slave. That is clearly not the case, so Baa’s bluff will be called.

    I have never met a Bollywood scene with an open sindoor Ki dabbi, and an empty maamg, where the sindoor doesn’t end up in that maang. So, that much will happen soon. Anu will love with him I’m a house but as a dost. Vanraj’s head will ecplode, along with Kavyaa’s. Every day will bring Anu closer to Anuj, and Vanraj away from Kavyaa. Toshu and Kinjal will also drift because she can’t turn into Anupama and ignore that he is an a*sh*le.

    Baapuji will wait for Baa to wake up, but she is a list cause. He will simply have a heart attack one day, because of her toxic nature.
