Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti fame Siddhaanth Surryavanshi made his debut in 2001 with the show Kkusum. The actor has charmed the audience with several many roles but there are a few that he is very happy about.
Siddhanth recently talked about it in an interview with BT and shared, “My role in the show Mamta in 2006, where I played the role of Akshay Srivastav will always stay close to my heart. Then in 2008 there was the show Grihasti in which I played Rishi. Recently, I also loved portraying Kuldeep Chaddha in Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti. All these roles were different from each other and gave me a chance to showcase my skills as an actor.”
When asked if it’s a good idea for a maker to come up with sequels, he replied, “The only show of mine which I feel was incomplete was Sufiyana Pyaar Mera where I played the role of Mamoon Shah. If there was a sequel for this show, I would be a part of it and that’s because I feel my character needed closure. It went off air much sooner than we expected…it feels like unfinished business. But honestly, I would rather do something new than something old again. Let the old shows be where they are because they are people’s favorites for a reason and they shouldn’t be disturbed. I always feel that the stories and characters that I played in almost all my shows came to a culmination. Once I move out of a show, I move ahead. It gets complete in my head and I would never want a sequel to my shows.”
“The fascination and inclination towards television and Bollywood were there since the beginning for me. Somewhere in my heart, I knew that I would get associated with it one day. Even though it is an unstable career and people said that I should have a backup plan, I didn’t think like that when I started. Having a backup will not let you perform a hundred percent and fight the way you should,” he concludes.
