Like many others, Divyanka Tripathi also paid her tribute to the Nightingale of India – Lata Mangeshkar. Divyanka, just like people across the globe, was heartbroken to hear the sad news. She took to her Twitter account to pay her condolences and express grief.
Divyanka Tripathi shared a picture of the late singer along with a note. She was later accused by a user of copying the lines. Divyanka shut the troll with her savage reply and wrote, “Thanks for ‘very indirectly’ indicating that I write well. Tumhare tiraskaar mein meri tareef hai! (sic).” The user had written, “From where u copied these lines (sic)”
The original tweet by Divyanka Tripathi read: “You have left our nation in a void today Lata ji.🙏 Art historians will study your work and your songs will live for centuries to come. You were an era of musical evolution India saw from before independence till date, that has come to an end today. RIP Sushri Lata Mangeshkar ji.”
