Rajshree Thakur, who became a household name with her stint in the show Shaadi Mubarak quit the show in October 2020 owing to a hectic schedule and long working hours.
Rajshree is now back with her new show Apnapan-Badalte Rishton Ka Bandhan. The actress talked about it in an interview with BT and shared, “When I was doing Shaadi Mubarak, the pandemic had struck, and my daughter was much younger. The schedule was hectic and I did not have proper house help. I had to quit the show because my family needed me. However, now, things are smoother and I am able to balance family and work.”
Talking about the long working hours on TV the actress said, “Earlier it used to be very hectic and there were no fixed working hours. Sometimes, you had to put in more time because things weren’t as systematic. But, in the last one or two years, I have seen that there is a proper system in place, and it is much more organized when I go to shoot on the set. I have always been particular that my family life should not suffer. When work hours are fixed, I can focus on my work as well as my family. It is important that I give equal time to both.”
Along with Rajshree Apnapan will also feature Cezanne Khan in the lead role. The show will be based on the complexities of a husband and wife relationship, especially after they have children.
