What right does Rupi have to question Imlie?
Rupi is related to Cheeni NOT Imlie!
Humble request…
If u r not a Hindu or Sanatani better not give opinions about Hindu Gods and Goddesses…The producer director leads all are From Islam …so I never expect anything good from them regarding Hinduism…they are using Sita Maiyya as Imlies inspiration…Well Ramayan and Bhagvat Gita are subjects where unlimited research can be done but still it won’t be a grain of sand on the beach…Gul KHAN even made Dhoop batti look bad in front of LOBAAN…(Imlie Mata is allergic to Dhoop)..Muslims have been mocking us from centuries under the facade of Secularism… I only read the written updates and comments…but I don’t think anyone is Hindu here… seeing the type of comments everyday… I hope fellow Sanatanis become conscious about this.
I’m a Theravāda Buddhist btw with Shekhawati Hindu parents
I’m Hindu and I made those comments yesterday that you’re all spastic over cause religious texts are BS unless you lived during that time keep your brainwashed crap to yourself 💁🏾♀️Your beloved Ekta Mata is doing the same crap as Gul hell she started before Gul. Religion is Another BS medium to propagate hate. If there was no religion there would be less hate. I bet you hate me now don’t you? Probably asking Ram and the likes to strike me dead cause I dumbed down all the flowery Bs and said the truth – they suicided. Want to start talking about how Krishna and his sons ended up as well? You can’t just blindly believe – question everything
Please mind ur language… I know some love to fight here every day…but I’m not one of them
PS-EKta Aunty is not my favorite
And the whole Bollywood and TV industry runs on media facade…hence I don’t watch anything with attachment… neither I can stoop low
Radhe Radhe
May you please tell me what extra you have acquired watching serials.Half knowledge is dangerous. This is my first time in this comment section because religion triggers me and legit triggers me.Read Sam Atharva and Yajurveda. They are the perfect ones about Sanatan Dharm.Watch serials for entertainment
Yeah @Jade. The thing which irritates me the most is why can’t the serial makers explain things without bringing in God. Atleast God or goddess can be kept away from the nonsense they want to prove, right ! It really doesn’t make sense where essentially the female lead goes on doing things in the name of Goddess. I won’t say it’s wrong to be devoted to God but why showcase it ? Devotion can be within oneself all the while, where’s the loss ? But the way serial makers show us that the female lead gets confidence after taking Goddess’ name on her lips…it seems totally unrealistic! I too pray to the God. I also perform pujas. I also participate in pandals and religious gatherings say during Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra or Diwali. But I don’t go around saying to people – Jai Seeta Maiyya ki ! Perhaps I do sit in the suitable corner at a temple on one of the occassions and read stotras as well. But it totally makes sense as everyone visiting temple are present there to pay their devotion to the God. Suppose I have to give presentation at the some office and I begin the presentation after reciting some stotra infront of all of them… The client will be like.. “We wouldn’t want to work with impractical team who don’t know what to do where and when.” It’s as simple as that ! There is time, place and situation for things like devotion as well. Maybe I can pray to God in my mind for a moment or two before I get question paper in the exam hall..all in my mind. But writing ‘om’ on top of the paper of the answer sheet, keeping a small idol of God infront of my answer sheet and recite a stotra just while receiving the paper doesn’t make sense. Should I recite the formulas, concepts or theories in that moment or sit and recite a good nice stotra at that crucial moment ? The later thing would look weird, right !
Same is the thing when Imlie or any female lead recites the name of God the very moment they open the mouth and before the very moment they close the mouth. One of my own cousins while speaking with my dad starts the sentence with ‘Ok Mama’, ‘Haan Mama’, ‘Suno Mama’ and ends with the same equivalents. Even this me and my extended family considers weird. I can’t imagine my own self saying ‘Sita Maiyya’ all the while. God should be in the heart and mind all the while, not on the lips. God is not a show piece. God is something eternal and deserves a higher place. Doing anything and branding the act as the advice of God is one way in which people do insult the God and culture.
TBH no one.
Literally no one
In India uses the Phrase Sita Maiyya. We say Devi Sita.I know Maithili people worship her but nobody chants like Imlie.Maiyya word is used by Vrij and Mathura people but nowadays even villagers use Mom and Maa.Maiyya was actually used because Lord Krishna (according to serials and hymes)used to called Devi Yashoda as Maiyya.
Hi @.
Well said, I carry God in my heart and pray silently🙏
Yes I noticed the Loban thing in the show.At first I didn’t know what it was 😂Had to Google
What Anu Aunty is Doing till now…she should be in the jail
@Nalishcha. I’m Zara, a Muslim. May be my ancestors converted to Islam long back. But I have tremendous respect for Hinduism and Indian culture and ethos idealized by Ramayana, specially Lord Ram and Sits Maiyya. I agree that we must take care in commenting against them or making fun or trivializing them. Plz check my earlier comment of yesterday in response to @Jade comments.
Dear … I too respect each and every religion… but I find that so many times people are associating Imlie’s stupid actions with Sita Maiyya… evidently Gul Khan did that and really hurts the sentiments when others write words like suicide for Gods.
Sorry if my words hurt anyone.
Regards
@Zara I read ur comment on yesterday’s episode…U r more scientific and technically sound than fellow Sanatanis…May others (irrespective of race and religion) learn and try to analyse lyk u …Thank uh
on what basis does his family choose a village girl like imli for him
and this serial also shows love at first sight too literally
I literally feel that imlie should be paired up with jaggu …it will be good for her and us too….Too much negativity yaar…Same story line…They will get married forcefully…And then hero ji will fall with this village girl Imlie and Cheeni will try to snatch Atharv….Same story line as Imlie 1.0….. I want a fresh story line…And that is with Jaggu and Imlie pairing up…I mean Jaggu coming to India after completing higher studies…He will be same as his mama..i.e Aaryan( behaviour) and Imlie will be like Imlie 1.0 …They could start something new right. Showing the same crap .i.e 2 girls fighting for one guy…oh plss start something fresh
U want cousins to marry each other 🤦
@Nalishcha.. I am an old viewer actually. And I found your comment interesting about the cousins duo 😂. In India…cousins in a family marrying is like common. Jr. Imlie’s aunt’s son will be her cousin. Means one (girl/boy) can marry one’s aunt’s son or uncle’s daughter.
You are talking about this as weird… You still don’t know how weird relationships may get in certain marriages.
In Pakistan, it is common for a girl to marry her chacha’s son or taaya’s son. And for a boy to marry his chacha’s daughter of Gaga’s daughter. Can you imagine this ? 😂
It literally cracked me up when I heard this thing for the first time. In both the cases girl or boy should regard their chacha’s beta or beti as a sibling. But these type of first cousin marriages do happen in Pakistan. It’s still better we have something like second cousin marriages.
I am not criticising first cousin marriages just because it’s something illegitimate in our culture. But imagine the common gene pool and the duo marrying ! When two people marrying have similar and closest gene pool (I mean close relatives), their resulting children will have more probability of being born with major disabilities which is why first cousin marriages are not really a thing to consider !
@. Hi
Actually I’m doing MSc in Biotechnology along with engineering So this cousin marriage thing freaked me out when I saw this in Pak dramas for the first time.Marrying cousins increases the risk of down’s syndrome and also the recessive traits are more likely to club. That means the progeny will have increased rate of birth defect and if the chain continues it may cause miscarriage (without the family knowing the cause behind it).Hence consanguienious marriages are not healthy from medical point of view.
I’m preparing for Civil service too taking sociology optional. The cause of cousin marriage in South India was property and dowry factor.People thought that their property won’t go to any unknown family in the form of dowry hence preferred this type of marriage. In South India this type of marriage is practiced among maternal cousin ie-Boys marrying their maternal aunt and uncle’s kid whereas in Muslims it is practiced in paternal bloodline.Girls and Boys marrying their paternal uncle’s child, sometimes from aunt’s side too if they don’t get Choice from paternal uncle’s kids and if other education and emotional preference persist over this then they go for outsiders. Now this has become a major issue of conflict between households.Imagine calling your chachu sasur ji. Scientifically one should not marry sibling, first second and third cousin. But at the end of the day, It’s their CHOICE
@Shweta… I can relate..
Cousin marriage itself is a wrong system.
I know bundles of examples in my family itself.. my paternal aunt’s daughter and my bade papa’s son were married. Actually here, bade papa was the son of my grandfather and his first wife and she died very early in marriage. And my father, chachaji and my two other aunts were born to my grandmother who is the second wife. So actually…my cousin’s marriage was low risk type. Still their daughter had urinary infection and some eye defect by birth. And now their second daughter has no abnormalities.
And there is another type of marriage in South India as well. Suppose there are a brother and sister. And the sister is very much elder than brother…then there are cases where the sibling sister’s daughter is married to the sibling brother. So, I know two of my father’s best friends who belong to this category and first one’s – first daughter is born handicapped and the second one’s – two sons were born handicapped.
So I can relate what you are saying.
And actually even my parents are second cousins to each other..they share a great grand parent (maternal side) 😂…so I can totally relate 😂. And I don’t have any disabilities 😂 thank god !!!
I got this topic both in sociology and genetics 🤣this comment section has turned to some science and religious debates after Imlie 1.
I was born and brought up in a strict Rajasthani household in states hence I was even forbidden going near male cousins after hitting puberty. After marrying my best friend in college I believe it doesn’t matter whether its own family or somebody u have met a month ago ,if the partner is supportive then nothing will matter.
Seeing Karan Vohra and Megha Chakraborty reminds of the Flop show they had earlier.Shaurya Khanna ghar beitha hi sahi tha.Even Megha must be disappointed with this character after Kaatelal.Kaam k chakkar mein kahan fas gaye bechare
So, can you list out the advantages and disadvantages of marrying cousins, and give your final recommendations?
This forum was never much of science based except for some of my comments and one more medical student @Anonymous… But this forum has been always full of controversial topics…say from politics, to debates for and against ‘Malini raped Adi 😂’. Or say religious debates or some high order philosophical meter long comments (I am the first one to be considered in that category when talking about meter long comments 😂).
By the way, I am from south of India..so I can definitely say consanguineous marriages do happen a lot in South India…but yeah increasingly people are deterring from these weird pair ups and/or alliances. Nowadays alliances means haisiyat se zyada status and money on the opposite side…ranging from engineers to doctors, from government employees to people who earn meagre incomes…everyone hopes for more when the topic is about marriage. After bank balance is damn important no matter how much we pretend that money is nothing infront of emotions. Nowadays money rules emotions the most 😂.
And as you said about having a supportive partner…yes that’s the most important asset any human in marriage should possess. Opinions match karein na karein…banda tho akkal we faisla aur support karne waala hona chahiye. Acceptance is imp. but it’s nothing without support. Support is what we year from childhood till our death..chaahe mann chaaha padne ki baat ho ya mann chaaha kaam karne ki baat ho.
I know I don’t qualify to reply to these hifi discussion without having experience considering you are an MSc candidate, now preparing for civils and me just a 1st drop NEET Aspirant 😂..but yeah I love expressing myself. So nevermind 😉🤪😂.
And Megha… yaar ! I am feeling pity for her that she took up this show after doing Kaatelal. Kaatelal kahan and Imlie 🤦 !?!?!?
I don’t know who Karan Vohra is…or what are his previous works but still Imlie is not their level worth and for that matter for no actor at all.
Dramas needn’t be crisp or to the point. But atleast put some logic and creativity into it. Inki creativity ye hoti hai story ko aur kitna kachra banaya jaaye… Like seriously ? 😆
Nah nah😂I always read the comments, even before the existence of Aryan Singh Rathore. But seeing the comments turning violent sometimes I refrained myself from writing anything.Sometimes people use cuss words too, that too against a girl who just turned 18. People forget that this is just a show and go bashing on personal level. But again who are we to stop anyone.Neither we are like Moral police in Iran😂
I read your meter long comments 😂yeah @Anamika_Megh’s too.I just wonder how much patience it must be requiring.
You must become a civil servant, you are ideally suited for it. You want yo go there through NEET – MBBS – IAS, fine. But there are are more, easier and better ways available to you. So don’t become obsessed with, never call yourself NEET drop-out. I closely know many doctors and civil servants, and I swear, you can give the best of them a run for their money. Go for it, Collector Sahiba, you are the best.
@Nalishcha
I don’t think soo there would be anything wrong…He (Jaggu)will be BIL to Imlie 2.0….. I think you should see it once and then judge…
Please explain it yrrr… maybe I’m not getting it
Bruh why does Narmada hate her own blood?
.
.
Imlie was just a baby when AryLie passed away.
.
.
I’m hating Narmada these days……
Imlie was just a baby when AryLie passed away.
.
.
I’m hating Narmada these days……
I mean Imlie 2.0
Imlie 2.0 is becoming more predictable than imlie 1.0. Writers please wake up and bring some originality in the storyline. Waiting for the twists and turns.
@Razor, all the mid level writers died during the covid wave. Now they have the same handful of Coke heads writing for all the serials. I think it’s proved that the actual producers have no talent at all cause the people who have been writing for them and got them such success are gone….
