When asked about accepting the project, Sambhabana revealed that she initially auditioned for the character of Radha. However, she received a response later, offering her the role of Damini, the antagonist. Admitting her lack of interest at first, she doubted her ability to portray the character convincingly. Nevertheless, with the guidance of Prateek Shah, who played a crucial role in boosting her confidence, Sambhabana ultimately accepted the role.
