Gashmeer Mahajani’s father, Ravindra Mahajani, found deceased in his residence
Ravindra Mahajani, father of actor Gashmeer Mahajani known for his role in Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, has tragically passed away. The veteran Marathi actor, aged 77, was discovered deceased in his flat located in Ambi village, Maval taluka near Talegaon Dabhade.
According to senior inspector Ranjit Sawant of Talegaon MIDC police, it is suspected that Ravindra Mahajani may have passed away three days prior. The police were alerted by neighbors who noticed a foul odor emanating from his flat. Upon breaking the door, authorities found his lifeless body. The body was subsequently sent to Talegaon Dabhade for postmortem examination.
Reports indicate that Ravindra had been living alone in his flat for the past eight months. Having made his debut in the film Saat Hindustani in 1969, he had a successful career in Marathi cinema, appearing in notable movies such as Mumbaicha Faujdar, Aram Haram Ahe, Zoonj, Bolo He Chakradhari, and Panipat, among others.
His son, Gashmeer Mahajani, is also an actor who has made appearances in popular shows like Imlie and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. He has been a part of several films, including Muskurake Dekh Zara, Deool Band, Mala Kahich Problem Nahi, and Dharmaveer, to name a few. In the recently concluded TV show Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, Gashmeer portrayed the character of Armaan Oberoi, alongside co-stars Reem Shaikh and Karan Kundrra.
