Mohammad Nazim, acclaimed for his portrayal of Ahem Modi in Star Plus’ ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya,’ has gained worldwide recognition, with iconic scenes from the show resurfacing as viral memes across social media platforms. Several memorable instances, including the ‘green tea’ moment and the infectious ‘la la la’ song variations, have captured the attention of audiences, rekindling nostalgia and humor.
The ‘green tea’ moment, featuring Ahem Modi’s concern for Gopi Bahu while she lies unconscious in a hospital bed, has particularly resonated as a viral meme. Ahem’s contemplation about who would make his green tea if Gopi were not around has struck a chord with viewers. Additionally, the recurring ‘la la la’ song sequences and the comical towel-drop scene involving Ahem and Gopi have also sparked considerable online buzz.
While some celebrate the resurgence of these classic scenes, others opt to poke fun, highlighting a divergence in reactions to the nostalgic memes. However, Mohammad Nazim has embraced the trend positively, participating in the current wave by creating a reel with his friend Sanjit Asgaonkar. Their reel cleverly merges the elements of the green tea moment and the catchy ‘la la la’ song, showcasing the actor’s enjoyment at seeing audiences entertained by his past work on a different platform.
Nazim’s receptive and light-hearted approach toward the viral memes underscores his appreciation for the enduring impact of his character. His willingness to join in on the fun speaks volumes about his humility and the enduring popularity of ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.’ Enthusiasts eagerly await the potential for more iconic moments from Ahem Modi to surface and captivate audiences in the ever-evolving landscape of online entertainment trends.

There’s nothing iconic here. Saath Nibhaana Saathiya was a mediocre show and I honestly don’t understand why it’s so popular even today. I head cannon it actually isn’t, the makers have paid a Chinese advertisement agency to create fake fan accounts and spread a non – existent hype through social media. The series itself had good episodes but for the most part was annoying, over the top or boring. Ahem’s character was terrible – he was toxic, selfish, uncharismatic, cringe, mummy’s boy, spineless. The only iconic thing about him is being the epitome of “how to not write a male lead character in a TV drama series”…. if we can call him that, because his imposing screentime eater mummy had 200 % more screentime… the only male leading faces the show has ever had were Jaggi – now for that we can give him credit and treat him as an icon even though we don’t for some reason, and Ramakant, played by Rohit Suchanti. Both of them only appeared in the show’s last season, before that the serial was entirely female centric even though we had Ahem, Jigar, Dharam and Shravan, Sahir and Samar… I guess Dharam was sort of a lead for a while but he did start as an antagonist and in the last season didn’t live up to the hero expectations, established in later Season 3
