Renowned for his portrayal of the villainous character Kiran Sawant in the hit TV show ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein,’ actor Udit Shukla has disclosed that his return to the show will be in the form of a cameo.
Expressing his thoughts, Udit stated, “I know my audience is thrilled to see me back, and they hope I’ll be even more villainous this time. However, I want to clarify that it’s just a cameo aimed at bringing the protagonists Savi (Bhavika Sharma) and Ishaan (Shakti Arora) closer. Despite its brief nature, my role will significantly impact the storyline, with viewers witnessing intense scenes of me going over the top, torturing, and confessing to my wife Harini (Ankita Khare), who essays Savi’s sister. This dramatic revelation will bring her out of a coma and lead to her exposing me.”
The actor, recognized for his portrayal of negative roles on screen, shared his plans for the upcoming year, expressing a desire to step into the shoes of a hero in a TV show.
Udit elaborated, saying, “I find enjoyment in playing negative characters. It never bores me, and I never feel typecast because every time I take on a role, it’s a new journey with a different personality. While I remain open to negative roles, I aspire to play the role of a hero in a show if the opportunity presents itself.”
Udit Shukla has previously been seen in TV shows such as ‘Rang Jaun Tere Rang Mein,’ and has showcased his acting skills in productions like ‘Dhhai Kilo Prem’ and ‘Rangrasiya,’ among others.
