Shehzada Dhami made headlines after his termination from the popular TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, along with co-star Pratiksha Honmukhe. The pair, rumored to be romantically involved, faced accusations of unprofessional conduct on set.
While Shehzada has consistently denied the allegations made by producer Rajan Shahi, Pratiksha has remained silent on the controversy. Recently, Honmukhe joined the cast of Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, starring Arjit Taneja and Sriti Jha. Dhami expressed his excitement for his former colleague’s new opportunity.
Taking to Instagram, Shehzada Dhami shared the promo for Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, highlighting Pratiksha’s entry into the show. He congratulated her, captioning the teaser with “Congratulations.”
In her new role, Pratiksha portrays Virat’s (Arjit Taneja) former girlfriend. The promo shows a dramatic encounter between Pratiksha and Virat’s wife, Amruta (Sriti Jha), leading to a tense moment where Virat rescues Pratiksha from a pool, leaving Amruta shocked. This new storyline promises to stir up significant drama in the show.
In a candid interview with Siddharth Kannan, Shehzada Dhami opened up about his experience on the set of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He refuted rumors of unprofessional behavior and shared an incident from his first day on set. He explained that he was asked to wear hand accessories for a scene, which he later had to remove as it didn’t fit the character of a lawyer. When he forgot to remove them before shooting, the director reacted harshly.
Shehzada Dhami began his acting career with the fantasy series Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka! in 2020. He then appeared in Choti Sarrdaarni and Shubh Shagun before landing the lead role of Armaan Poddar in Rajan Shahi’s production, opposite Samridhii Shukla. However, he was eventually replaced by Rohit Purohit.
Despite the controversies, Dhami remains optimistic and supportive of his colleagues, exemplified by his enthusiastic response to Pratiksha Honmukhe’s new venture.
