Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, starring Bhavika Sharma and Hitesh Bharadwaj, has been making waves ever since the show took a significant leap. The current storyline has sparked comparisons with the hit series Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, which starred Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel. In response to these comparisons, Hitesh Bharadwaj has finally shared his thoughts.
In a conversation with Free Press Journal, Hitesh Bharadwaj was asked about the parallels being drawn between Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. While he initially refrained from commenting directly on the comparison, he later highlighted the success of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and the overwhelming love it continues to receive from viewers.
“I think people should not do these comparisons,” Hitesh remarked. He went on to explain that every show has its own unique perspective and narrative, making comparisons unnecessary. “If you are enjoying the show, then just have fun. What’s the point of creating controversy? It’s quite strange,” he added, emphasizing that social media debates often miss the bigger picture.
For those unfamiliar, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin underwent a major leap a few months ago, which introduced significant changes to the storyline and cast. Shakti Arora’s character arc concluded, paving the way for Hitesh Bharadwaj to step in as the new male lead. Prior to the leap, Savi and Ishaan had tied the knot. However, tragedy struck, leaving Savi as Ishaan’s widow, unable to become a mother due to a gunshot wound to her stomach.
As a result of the leap, several characters, including Shakti Arora and Sumit Singh, exited the show, making way for a new narrative. The post-leap storyline now centers around Savi and her complicated relationship with Rajat, Sai’s father. Savi, who deeply cares for Sai, decides to marry Rajat to gain custody of Sai. Despite their frequent arguments, Savi and Rajat maintain the facade of a happy couple for the sake of their daughter.
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin first premiered on October 5, 2020, and continues to captivate audiences with its engaging plot and stellar performances. The show features an ensemble cast, including Manasi Salvi, Indraneel Bhattacharya, Kaveri Priyam, Varun Jain, and Pallavi Pradhan, among others, who play crucial roles in the ongoing drama.

Basically hitesh doesnt want to admit the show is now copying YHM storyline,he even asked them not to compare the two.Obviously people are going to notice it.
@ Koko agree with you all the way
They are literally copying seen to seen of YHm. However Hitesh is asking audience to not to compare? He is a fool. YHM was an iconic show and viewers know the storyline pretty well. He can’t stop audience to compare between ghkkpm and YHM. YHM star cast was the best. Specially the leads Karan and Divyanka had set a benchmark. Bhavika and Hitesh can’t reach their level. In fact, even other star cast of ghkkpm can’t reach that level. The vibrant Panjabis and traditional Tamilian were really unique. GHKKPM families can’t entertain in that way.
Plz serial ko band karo humne yeh sab ek serial me dekha hai same story woh serial acha tha
Listen I like Hitesh as an actor, but he has to realize that if they’re going to copy it so blatantly then obviously comparisons will be made.
They could at least explore the fact that Savi is a young widow which makes her character slightly different from Ishita’s, and focus on slight changes like that if they truly can’t come up with anything else…
