Scene 1
Shikhar arrives home and is embarrassed to see Avani. Suman says I know what happened in the office. He looks on and asks what? Suman says its all Avani’s fault, she didn’t give lunch to you as it fell down. Avani asks him to go and freshen up so he leaves.
Avani makes Shikhar’s favourite food so Shagun taunts if she made a mistake? Suman says he handles the house so he deserves this food, I am sure people work around him in the office too. Ashok asks if everything is fine in the office? Shikhar coughs so Avani gives him water. Suman says a neighbor was bragging about her son but I told her that my son has respect and status in his office. Avani feels sad and leaves from there. Anika says something is wrong, she didn’t even eat anything today. Ashok asks him to go and check on her but he says she will eat when she is hungry.
Shikhar brings water for Avani and says stop crying as others will blame him then, he asks why did she come to the office? Avani says why doesn’t he change his job? He says its not that easy to get another job, my time is not right but one day I will make that Varma clean my shoes. Avani says outside world is that bad? Shikhar says it is that’s why I protect you, just forget what you saw today, wipe your tears and come back. He leaves from there.
Anika tells Avani that she does so much but papa doesn’t appreciate her. She says he does as he praises her food all the time. Anika says I met with Rudra’s parents today, they have such luxury cars, I wish we had one too. Avani says your father works hard on his job. Anika recalls Rudra’s father talking about a business and says papa should think to open a business, people get rich by doing their business. Avani says its not that easy, Anika says we should still try. Business can make dreams come true. So many start-ups get profitable. Avani looks on.
Scene 2
Avani is looking for ideas and searches the internet for start-ups. She researches about entrepreneurship and gets some ideas. She collects money that she has been saving and says they have money to run the house for 2 months if he leaves his job. She prays to Kahna ji and picks a chit which says she should do business. She says I will make Shikhar start a business. She comes to the kitchen and can’t sleep so she leaves from there. She gets milk from the milkman and asks if its his business or he is doing a job? he says why would I serve anyone? he gives his card to her and says its his own business.
Avani says business is a good idea, she messages Anika about her research. She goes to her and wakes her up. Anika says let me sleep but Avani says I will ask Shikhar to leave his job and start a business. Anika wakes up and says really? she hugs her and Avani tells her about her plans.
In the morning, Avani is making breakfast and gathers the courage to talk to him. she brings tea for him and says the milkman didn’t come today so the owner called and apologized. One off day can make the owner understand the importance of their employees. Shikhar says he will take an off today. Avani says really? we should go out and have some time together. Shikhar asks if she can take a break from household work? Suman comes there and asks Shikhar why is here till now? He says he is taking an off today. Ashok asks if anything happened in the office? Shikhar says no, Avani wanted to go out so we will enjoy some time. Suman asks who will do household work then? He says Shagun can handle it. Avani says I have done most of the work. Shagun says don’t worry, go and enjoy. She thinks Avani is plotting something.
