Many good shows are coming on air and going off air these days. Viewers are given so much choice to switch between channels and watch the best they can find every day. After a new show starts, it looks good package till few episodes, then dipping and adding twists. Some shows just drags, others keep the evil winning. Shows makes viewers happy by the leads’ romance and love stories, then making cross connections and adding evil spoils the fun of watching the show. Some shows leave an effect and become memorable even after its end.
No wonder what lies the secret behind some hit shows’ success. To ease your vote in this poll, we will list some hit and out of the box love stories and dramas, which ended and still remembered. Ek Mutthi Aasmaan, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Madhubala EIEJ, Rangrasiya, Jodha Akbar, Veera, Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar, Manmarziyan, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, Nisha Aur Uske Cousins are few among the long list.
Some shows got hit by the young actors and the youth oriented stories. The fresh appeal put in by the actors remain the prime reason for the show’s success. But the channel and air time also matters. There are many such reasons for which the show can attain success in no time. Few shows with good concept do not sustain good TRPs being on less known channels. Shows with romantic title tracks and leads’ chemistry add wonders and more success rates to the shows.
Airing slot/channel, Good cast, strong concept, Romantic Title song, Leads’ sizzling chemistry
promos and media publicity are enough reasons given in the poll. Guess the required fixation behind a show’s success? You may give your vote (upto two choices) and also comment any your opinion in the section below.

All those hit serials never dragged their plot for TRP. but all present shows work only for TRP.
Eg: Ek Hasina Thi never dragged the plot. every episode of EHT is still fresh in my memory
You gave a great example; it indeed was a marvellous show loved this….. Reason behind that it was a marvellous serial in my perception is its concept…… And the cvs never crapped the story…… Another peice is rangrasiya a very amasing serial in start but after some months it get crapped the story went to the un necessary point
agree
a good show shouldn’t be long although we miss it when it goes off air but they didn’t irritate us and we miss it in good ways
yes
Availability of repeat telecast also matters a lot. .. n evil activities also matter. If evil activities increase it will definately loose public interest.
show should not drag so much… it is good that now a day good concept based shows are coming…. n limited time or less dragging of show make it memorable …
good cast and pair matters the most…
It would be good…if the shows are telecasted for a month….be it in a weekdays like a finite series..if its possible means many stories with fresh concepts could be told without dragging….. a story could be told with its original content.. many interesting concepts can be seen…..in my opinion
All these points are quite important for a show to be successful, if one is missing it maybe hard for a show to be successful
Shows that ended quite early was because of either the channel, and also the repeat telecast were barely even shown which is one of the most important things
I feel that shows should choose channel based on their concept for colors message based shows, for zee tv relations based shows for star plus drama based shows for life ok suspense n love story based show for sony mythological based shows and for Sab comedy based shows
