They moved to the park accompanied by two forest guards. The team got divided unknowingly, the male in the front, ladies in the middle and children at the back. It was going to a very long walk. They were provided a jeep but walking gives a different pleasure. Dont you agree?
All of them behind were the teenage and it was going to be a good day for Neil since no Rahul in the picture. His eyes were glued to the girl with camera. She completely looked like a photographer capturing even an insect that her eyes never failed to spot.
Neil’s POV(chuckling): she thinks herself as Bear Grylls shooting for discovery? Eh?
I am an adventurer, but she is not…she is not an adventuress. She is a ‘wanderess.’ Thus, She didn’t care about money but only experiences.
He observed.

“Careful!” he shouted whilst her feet failed in air. She looked down and saw the creature that she was going to put a feet on.

“Oops!” she mumbled. He had a keen observation on her.

Wait, what? observation? He was observing her?

This made her conscious, very conscious. An uneasiness passed through her blood. She noticed her brother little far from her with the other children. No doubt the teenage might be sticked to him due to his ever charming looks and personality.

Her mom turned to assure she was alright and signed her to come fast.

Neil was behind her. She was so busy with the camera that she didnt even noticed everyone moving so fast. Her Dad might have left her seeing her immense and deep love in photography and in assurance that her brother might be with her.
But hell, they had a fight yesterday.

“Is that your hobby?” Neil asked gently over her shoulder.
He didnt wanted to spoil this amazing moment with her by his ego and arrogance.

She turned and warmly replied “yes” she got inetrested and happy that someone acknowledged about it.

“we should move fast. They are ahead” she cracked annoying him a little.
He was trying to pull out a topic and she was thinking about the other members. His effort will go in vain and drown if she persists.

He took a big step to walk by her side.
“Dont worry. They wont leave you” His voice was deep, husky and modulated. He assured her with a slight curl of lips.

“Yeah. They wont but still…” she again countered and that was quite enough.

First thing, he never paid attention to any girl..ANY! come what may! And here, he is giving his attention to her like a idiot love stricken puppy and she is kind of ignoring him.

On the other hand, Sam was having a strange feeling in the pit of her stomach realising his presence.
She was feeling like when she is swimming and want to put her feet down on something solid, but the water’s deeper and there’s nothing there. In one moment she was feeling everything and then she was feeling nothing.
Others had moved farther and if they dont follow now, maybe they will lose them. The environment was calm and cool. The cloud was showering their love today by shielding the sun.

Meanwhile, Neil was sending her a feeling which they both felt but couldnt understand. She was going to freeze, her fingers were getting cooler and it needed a warm blow. He was walking with her shoulder to shoulder. She could feel him though there was no intense thin happening nor any proximity. But the pumping of her heart speeded. She could literally hear her heratbeat as if it wanted to jump out of her chest.

“We both are together so stop worrying” It was his third try. If she oppose again he would loose his calm.

Sam could barely control. She wanted to hold his hand. Feel the warmth that she always does when he embraces her in his arms. Her body was getting numb.
God! What was she thinking she needs to control but … her tongue didnt helped and bit out hurriedly.

For a long time,’ Sam said, ‘I had a crush on you. I just wanted you to know.’ she honestly said.

Neil looked at her as if to check that he’d heard correctly.

“I love you.” he said leaving her in utter shock.

She didnt believed her ears and stared stupidly at him. She was frozen.dumbstruck.surprised.shocked.
Both faced each other and he leaned in.

“Say it,” he whispered against her lips.

“I love you.” Hearing her own words, she gasped at the rush of emotion.
She wanted to cover her lips for the outburst.

He put his hands on either side of her jaw and took her mouth on his.
Her eyes bulged out. She didn’t respond for a few seconds. Her mind lagged behind what her body was feeling.

It was just a small lovely kiss. He released and smiled looking at her. He felt so complete and prefect now.
He embraced her in his arms which she was craving for the last few minutes.
His arms wrap around her waist tighter. She was space bound. A rocket about to blast off. They remained like that for a few seconds till her body shrugged.

Where were they? Where are the other members?

“Hey.. Did you got the way?” she asked him aloud.

They were walking for around half an hour. By now, Samrat also turned back to have a look.

“Piyali…where is Sammy?” he lightly asked.
“She is with Neil” Piyali assured.

“And Raghav?” Samrat asked.
“Oh he is with the children. A little behind” Piyali said in a very confirming tone.

Neil turned to Sam.
“Hey I thought you and Rahul have something?”

“What?” she shouted amused.

“Yeah. Dont you guyz have something? ”

“What something? He is my best friend.” she tried to explain with a valid reason.

“Oh. Then what’s Divya?” he interrogated.

“she is also my best friend.” she simply said trying to understand what logic he was applying.

“best friend is only one my dear.”

“Eh? Who said that? I have two.”

“Thats what I am saying that you cant have two.”

“What do you mean?”

“Pick one” he insisted.

Sam got lost in thought. Actually right, Who will she chose if asked ?

Neil chuckled and moved by her side.

He kept both his hand around her delicate shoulders and made her sit alongwith him.

“You’re minend I’ll kill any bastard who tries to take you from me.” his voice became cold and low. She felt a sudden possessiveness in his eyes. He was implying to Rahul. Did he knew that she will chose him over Divya? no! She wont.

“Leave that. So tell me when you got a crush on me?” he asked changing the topic and recalling the words she had bit out half an hour back.

“Hey! We are stucked here and instead of moving fast you are asking me this question?” she avoided his question feeling awkward and shot in one breath.

He slided his left hand around her waist and pulled her for a side hug and her head rest on his shoulder.

“I think it was during that amazing night on the kitchen counter. Or maybe it was the morning you stepped in the bus and passed me a glance. Or the evening when you speeded up your bike.”
Testing things, his right hand reached for her hand, and, to his joy, she glared, but she let him take it.

He kissed at the top of her head and smiled satisfied hearing those words coming out from her throat sweet and soft.

“I cannot imagine living my life without you. I want to see your face in the morning, and then at night, and a hundred times in between. I want to grow old with you, I want to laugh with you, and I want to tell my friends about how managing you are, all the while secretly knowing I am the luckiest man in town.”

“What?” she demanded.

He shrugged. “A man’s got to keep up appearances. I’ll be universally detested if everyone realizes how perfect you are.

Both laughed out on each other arms.

“Hey but your friends include my brother.” she complained.

He laughed again, the boyish smile.
“Dont worry about that” he assured though he didnt cared about anybody except her and his mother but he didnt wanted any doubt to build up on her beautiful innocent heart.

“I love you Sam and will always and forever.” he said removing all the other things running in her mind and the happy positive things got a place.

Neil was saying her name, and he was sending her a feeling. It was courage and strength, and something else too, as if he were standing with her, as if he’d taken her within himself, letting her rest her entire body for a moment on his backbone, her mind in his mind, her heart in the fire of his. The fire of Neil’s heart was astounding.
She almost could not believe, that the feeling he was sending her was love. But now she was engrossed in his arms and the world was out of her vision.

That’s one of the first things that comes out of young people’s mouth when they’re in love. FOREVER. And that’s cool, it’s all good-until you get old enough to realize what forever is.

I feel I didnt reach upto your expectations cause confession scene seemed diFficult to me.
And about fight ..that is more interesting between couples aren’t they? And who knows how long this teenage love love will last….????
