Agarwal residence was being decorated as a bride. Neil and sam engagement was going to be held there. It was decision of the youngsters as they have spend their sweet and lovely childhood in that house. It was a possession for them. So now they wanted to make something more memorable. And their parents cannot go against their decision. So it was inevitably decided. The gang was staying there itself checking the decorations while the old people were left to have some rest.
Neil and ash had grown a strong bonding over little time. They pulled pranks on others mostly on sid. Sid on other hand tried to tease both a lot. And all the others laughed seeing their friends antics. If anything was going overboard Arjun silenced them with his glares. And no one could argue with him. Sam was being treated as a royal bride. But she was helping sanju, as she was busy in designing and selecting dress for all. And all pour burden on sanjus shoulders. As usual nick being the perfect husband reminded her wife about health and brought her food while the girls watched them in awww.
Ash was going frantic with all arrangements. She never had attended any family functions as she was out of her house, being only in mark’s company. She never had real friends, those who were friends with her got lost when she completed her studies and returned to newyork. Now this is something new to her. Friendship, their pranks, pulling each others leg, she always wished for such friends in her life. Now when she is provided a chance, she willed to live it in full extent.
Ash had climbed a ladder for correcting the flower arrangements which were wrongly placed at a place. She told sid to hold it as no one was at reach. Sid left the hold on the ladder when he saw sam was calling him and he forgot about ash. Sid left the room with sam , but when ash made all the flowers set and realized she was alone standing on top. She freaked out, and was cursing sid to leave her there. But before she could do anything, the ladder bend a little at sudden weight on the right side, and in no time she lost balance. she was falling down now, and was anticipating fall but it didnt come.
” oh god am i dead?? Please dont let it be.. Im so young to die. Sid.. i will not leave you. I will haunt you for your life.” ” But why couldnt i hear any sound. Am i flowing in air??” and opens her eyes to see black orbs staring at her with concern written in them. She flushed when she noticed her babbling and arjun will be thinking she is mad now.
She stood up, wriggling from his hold. Arjun let her stand straight while stiffling his laughter. After sometime he couldnt hold it, and chuckled. Ash now was fuming with anger on sid for making her embrass. She thanked arjun, but before he could say anything , left the room.
Neil was angry on listening what sid did , and decided to give him a lesson. Arjun who knew there will be some reaction , asked sid to say sorry to ash. Sid tried hard to talk with ash,,but she kept on ignoring him. And moved out of way whenever he came infront of her. Atlast sid prodded nick for help, when they both went out of the house for preparations. Sid ” Nick. Please bro. Help me out. Ash is angry and arjun has warned to tackle the issue before it goes out of hands. And im damn sure Neil is planning something dangerous. ”
Nick laughed at his friends predicament but told him to buy ash some gift. After lot of thinking and struggle they bought chocolates and a sorry card. Ash finally accepted his apology after so many efforts and took the chocolates from him. All laughed at the scene.
Arjun was standing in the hallway leading to the back yard. Standing at the window, staring at the lights which were illuminating in the garden. Ash came and stood beside him, watching at the pleasant view of the place. Ash ” It is so peaceful here. Right?”
Arjun curled his lips in a small smile nodded his head. She took a deep breath and asked him” Arjun can i ask you a question??” Arjun noticed her nervousness, thought of easing her, nodded his head.
Ash ” How did you know that Radhika is the girl with whom you can spend your whole life?””
Arjun was taken aback at her sudden interest, instead asked her ” Why sudden question on this topic?”
Ash ” Sorry. Dont get annoyed now. Its just i heard so many stories of radhika and you. So i thought what is on your mind. ”
Arjun thought of playing more ” What made you think i would i tell that to you.” with a deadpanned face.
Ash sighed and said ” sorry if i offended you. Please leave it .” and turned to leave. Arjun chuckling grabbed her elbow, made her stop in her tracks. And said ” Im sorry. I was kidding.” Now ash was angry, she made a face n tried to leave.
Arjun ” ok. First lets be friends. I wont tell about my personal details to strangers.” Ash excitedly nodded her head, shook hand with him. She knew it was his way of showing emotions. Arjun smiled seeing her excitement.
Ash ” Ok. So now please answer na. ”
Arjun” Hmmm. Where should i start. Ok.” and laughed reminscing his memories. Ash just stared at him. He continued” I met her at 7. She was playing with riya here, in this house, there.” He put his hand at front showing her the place near the tree house. ” She was looking like an angel wearing pink dress. She was so busy playing, didnt notice me standing at the tree. And may be i knew she is the one.”
Ash was giving him “are you serious look” and said” what. 7. Are you for real?? You mean you stalked her from that long time. ”
Arjun laughed at her question ” I wish i could have stalked her. But she was not here after that. She left newyork next year. So i guess you cannot call me stalker.”
Ash “Wow. This is unbelievable. I cant imagine anything like that.”
Arjun ” Ok. So enough of me. Why did you stop your engagement with sid?”
Ash sighed ” I dont know. When i was in Australia. I had only mark, he used to bear all my tantrums. He was my family. Dad was busy in business and we used to meet twice a year. I had no real friends there with whom i can share my feelings. Then i met sid. He is a good person. I wanted to befriend him. But he kept me in distance. He barely used to talk. We just met in business meetings. So i guess i was terrified at the idea of sharing my life with him. Mom always used to say ” you have to marry when you can see love in his eyes” but sid’s eyes were always blank. so yes thats the reason i think.”
Arjun nodded his head ” dont worry you have a bright future ahead. And thank you for all the things you have done. It was not neccessary for you. But you are doing. ”
Ash scowled at his formal words. Arjun said” ok. Now i will not say thank you again. ”
” Now lets go to sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a big day.” Ash nodded and they moved to their rooms.

Ash was sleeping peacefully in the room which she was sharing with sam. Suddenly she heard muffled noises and someone was shooking her shoulders trying to wake her up.
“Oiyee. Sleepy head. Just get up now.” She couldnt get who was speaking. Soon she heard ruffling beside her and knew sam was awake now. But the person in a soothing voice lulled her to sleep saying ” sammy. Sleep baby. You need it. ” Ash now squinted her eyes, adjusting to the surroundings saw neil sitting at the edge of bed caressing sam’s head with his fingers.
Ash ” Neil. What are you doing early in the morning?”
Neil rolled his eyes ,pulling comforter from her body ” well. Good morning to you too. Sleepyhead. Now get up. There are so many works to do.”
Ash ” Please neil. I barely slept in night. Let me sleep some more time.”and lay down on the bed.
Neil yanked her up and dragged through the hallway , telling ” Ash. Dont ruin the fun now. We are now going to sid’s room. Have you forgot what he did yesterday. No. Right??”
Ash was having her eyes half open trying to get why neil was behaving like this. But soon she heard sid’s name, she understood, it is one of his revenge plan. Ash nodded her head, moved forward only to be bumped into a wall. But the wall was breathing, she opened one eye to see, it was not wall but arjun. She looped her hands around him, put her head against his right side, mumbling good morning.
Arjun who was moving towards his room after jogging, stopped in his tracks when someone collided with him. He flabbergasted seeing this and asked smiling” Ash. Dont tell me you are sleepwalking “.
Ash without opening her eyes replied ” What?? No no. I dont have such problems. But im feeling sleep deprived now. ” From the corner of his eyes he saw neil standing at the door in the corner and he knew what they are upto. Neil yell whispered ” ash. What are you doing with arjun now?? Come fast. We hav lots of work to do.”
Ash yawned listening to his words and strolled towards neil. He was trying hard to listen from the closed door. Arjun put his hand on neil’s shoulders trying to grab his attention. He raised his eyebrow at neil questioning him whats going on.
Neil ” Calm down arjun. We were trying to sneak into sid’s room. It is not a big deal. So please….” and gestured him to leave.
Arjun rolled his eyes at neil’s childish behaviour and asked ” But you already had truce with him. Then why again??” Neil smirked and answered ” Sid and naina are in. I wanted revenge from sid for all his actions while i was with sam.”
Arjun knew no one can change neil’s mind now. And with ash as his partner in crime. Nothing can stop him. Neil watched ash was still closing her eyes leaning her back to the wall ” oh sleepyhead. Wake up now. It is all payback time. We cant miss this chance.”
Ash nodded her head, took bottle from arjun’s hand, sprinkled water on her face tried to get rid of her sleepiness. Arjun warned neil but neil payed no heed at his words. Arjun left them to check out the decorations.
When they entered the room sid and naina were standing in a compromising situation. Naina was standing now between wall and sid. Sid held her face in his hands and lips inches apart. Before he could go any further, they heard someone clear their throat. They both pulled apart, turned to see ash and neil trying to stiffle their laughter. Naina turned tomato red in embarrasment and sid rubbing his neck’s nape.
Ash ” Wow. What a scene. Too bad we arrived early. Right neil??”
Neil nodded his head with a smirk. Sid rolled his eyes asked neil ” What are you doing here? Why are you not sleeping??”
Neil ” Oh I’m overwhelmed to know that you are worried for me. It looks we ruined your sweet moment. ”
Sid was about to retord, naina beat him saying ” Neil please. Stop teasing now. I know why you are doing this. ” Sid raised his eyebrows at her reply. She continued ” He is taking revenge on you sid. For all the time you disturbed him and sam ”
Neil ” Aha. Oh my barbie has grown up. She is no more that nerd.”
Naina rolled her eyes at him but smiled. They were not done there. All moved to the lovey dovey couple room.

Sanju was sleeping on her back in the bed , nick was kneeling beside her, his face at her belly, he was talking with his baby. Sanju was not sleeping but she had her eyes closed listening to him.
Nick ” Hii baby. Dadda is waiting for you. Please come soon. ” and placed light feathery kisses. Sanju giggled ” Nick. Baby cannot here you. ”
Nick ” Whatever. My baby will listen to her daddy. ”
Sanju ” Oh so its decided. Its a baby girl. How do you know??”
Nick ” Its fatherly instinct. It will be babygirl. My princess.”
Before they could argue more, they heard giggles and chuckles. They turned to the door where all the monkeys were standing peeping through the door. Nick threw pillows at them asking to leave.
But they entered the room and it echoed with their cheerful laughter. Soon nick and sanju joined them. Naina and ash oohed and aahed seeing them.
Ash ” Oh how lovely. Sanju you are so lucky to get nick”. Naina agreed with her.
Sid snorted ” Oh please. Its nick who is lucky to have sanju in his life. ”
Ash ” I agree.But you cant ignore my words too. They are true. ”
Neil ” Why are you saying like this. Dont worry we will find you your prince. And very soon. Just wait for evening. ”
Ash ” Neil. Thats not what im trying to say. You have to feel the love. It cant be set up.”
Naina ” oooh. Love at first sight. ” Ash shrugged her shoulders blushing. Sid ” Wow. Wait. Are you blushing. Well this is something new.”
Sid couldnt continue further, he was hit in the back of his head by sam. ” Sam why did u beat me??”
Sam ” please sid. Stop teasing the poor girl. Ash we hope your wish comes true and you get married this year. ”
Ash on listening shouted ” What?? Saaam.” Sanju ” yes ash. I will personally design dress for you. ”
Naina and neil nodded their heads. Sid ” Not before he passes all the tests. We have to be sure he can stay with this crazy girl.”
All laughed. Ash glared at sid. He shrugged his shoulders, but said ” Dont get angry now. We want the best for you. It will be my token of gratitude for helping me out of my problems. ”
All saw the seriousness in his eyes, they knew what he is referring to. Ash nodded her head . Nick ” Ok. Now. Go and get ready. We will meet at breakfast table.Then we have to check all the decorations too. ”
Everyone mumbled ok and moved out of the room.

The day went by. They wanted everything to be perfect. All were busy double checking the arrangements.
A man in his fiftees entered the lawn of agarwal residence in his car. His eyes showing happiness. He moved out of car and went by searching for a particular person.
Arjun was talking to the caterer, he turned his head when there was a tap on his shoulder. He was now face to face with his father. Aarav mehra. Arjun was a mini version of his father, whether personality or looks. He was his biggest support. Aarav hugged his son tight, patted his back ” How are you my dear son??”
Arjun” Dad. Stop becoming neil now. You saw me before 3 months. You are behaving as if i was away for years. ”
Aarav chuckled at his sons reply ” What can i do about it son?. You are the only one for whom im still breathing. ”
Arjun ” Oh now just stop your drama. Mom would have been bored of these words. So she left us. ” Aarav ” yes. May be. You are right. But she gave me her world, her love in you. So im happy. Are you happy arjun??”
Arjun” Dad. We have discussed this earlier too. Im happy. I had my fair share of love. And im content with it. ”
Aarav” But it is hard to live alone son. Why dont you understand that?? ”
Arjun” Who said im alone. I have my radhika with me. And now i have my friends .Everything is perfect dad .”
Aarav ” Ok. I lost. Who am i kidding?? You are sobha and my son, so there is no way to make you change your decisions.” Arjun chuckled ” Oh. You know me so well dad.”
” Now enough of our drama. Your friends are waiting for you. And dont ask about your sisters. They are going mad. Go meet them.”
Aarav laughed and they made way into the house.

The house glittered with the decorations and filled with all guests. Every elite patron was invited to the engagement. All the business officials, partners of malhotra empire were present. There was a huge buffet with large variety of dishes from across the corners of the world. Nothing was being spared.
Every girl attended the party was drooling on arjun. He was looking hot in his cream sherwani. He was busy with all the works but girls were busy checking him out. They were eye feasting.

He was wearing blue sherwani embellished with intricate flower design accomplished with blue stole and matching jooti. He was looking royal in his dress.

He followed nick into the hall where prerna was standing with a thaal in her hand. Prerna moved the thaal in clockwise direction removing bad omen , put a teeka on his forehead. Gave the thaal to ash who was standing beside her, kissed her sons forehead wishing him happiness.
Neil ” Ok. Mom. Now dont become sentimental. ” turned to ash scowled ” What are you still doing here?? When will you change your dress??” Prerna noticed she was still in her purple t-shirt and black jeans. She scoled ash and send her to get ready.
Ash entered the bride’s room where sam was getting ready. She saw the three ladies standing infront of the mirror. Naina and sanju were helping sam.
Naina was wearing red colour net and raw silk lehenga saree with amazing resham work crafted on it and lined up with patch work border.

Ash ” No. Its just im not comfortable with indian wear. I have never been to functions. Dont know how i will handle it. ”
Sanju moved to ash ” Ash you are worrying for nothing. The dress is superb and you will be comfortable in it. It is so lightweight. You will enjoy it wearing.”
Sam ” See. Now go and change. Fast.”
Ash saluted and said yes mam. Gone to change her dress. She opened the door wearing a gold colour double layered lehenga with orange border. Resham work embedded on it. Topped with sleeveless choli. Looking beautiful

The girls awwwwed seeing sam. They were correct she was looking like a princess. Sid knocked the door saying” Hey ladies. Come fast. All are waiting for you. ”
Naina opened the door. Sid was staring at her with wide eyes and smirk on his face. He said ” Naina. Are you trying to kill me now. Why are you so beautiful.” dramatically by placing his hand on heart.
Sanju who was behind naina rolled her eyes ” Sid . Started flirting already. Now move. Its getting late. ” and pushed him aside. All the girls laughed at her words.

Neil was fidgetting his fingers , frowning time to time , becoming impatient . Arjun and nick who observed this moved to his side and whispered ” Neil stop behaving like a girl. Sam is not going to leave you. Just relax dude. ” and patted his back. Neil scowled at both and said ” Shut up you idiots. You are not helping me at all. ”
Nick was about to say when arjun tapped neil shoulder showing the stairs where the girls were coming followed by sid. Neil was grinning wide seeing sam. Sam came down the steps and stood beside neil.
Piyali and samrat come to them hugged their daughter. Piyali put kajol on back of sams head for removing bad omen. There eyes were watery and smile dancing at lips. They were happy as finally their daughter is getting engaged to be married.

Ash stood on stage holding mic along with sid. She tapped the mic, all went silent trying to listen. Sid spoke ” Neil and sam. The love birds soon going to become a couple. This is very important day for you as well as to us. ” Ash continued” so we prepared something special to you our love”
Ash ” Ladies and gentleman. Thank you for gracing us with your presence. Now we friends are presenting a small token of love to the couple. Hope you will enjoy it. And congratulate the couple. ” cheers errupted in the hall.

After the engagement rituals, neil hugged sam whispering ” congratulations Mrs. Neil ”
and sam replied blushing ” Congratulations Mr. Neil.” Neil pecked her cheek and broke the hug. Cheers and laughter bloomed in the hall. Everyone congratulated the couple.
Naina and sanju moved on stage and pulled sam with them. When neil ask what for. They shrugged their shoulders and said something in sams ears. Sam giggled and nodded her head. Neil gave puppy eyes to sam and glared at sanju and naina.
Lights went out and ash voice boomed through the hall from mic. ” Neil here is our special dedication to you for being an amazing person and incredible lover. ”

Lights came, sam was standing wearing black shades. Music started, sam danced garcefully moving her hips. Soon naina, sanju and ash joined her. Everyone was dazzled with their dance on the song.

All were standing at the food area. Everyone was involved in their own conversation. Ash and arjun was standing at the corner table. A young man came saying ” Well. Isnt it Arjun Mehra. And what are doing here with Ms.Aishwarya. ”
He stopped for a second but still continued ” Oh. Where is Mrs. Mehra. I cannot see her here. ”
Then other man joined him saying ” May be he didnt want to bring his wife for this party. So he came with his girlfriend.”
The first man “Oh really. Ms.aishwarya is his girlfriend. How did we miss the news?? What will be Mrs.Mehra thinking about this now??”
Arjun knew they were the reporters whom he declined previously for an interview with radhika, so now they are showing their aggression here. But he was calm thinking “it was not the time to deal with these idiots. It is a happy day. I dont want to ruin it. ”
Ash had no worries about her , she can easily tackle them. She was worried about arjun , as they were speaking nonsense about radhika. Then suddenly the second man tried to touch her. She immediately held his hand, twisted it. The man was baffled at the sudden movement. He was hissing in pain.
Ash murmered in his ear” Dare you touch me. What did you think. I will not do anything. I can kill you here and no one will ever know where your body is!!”
The first man was terrified at the scene. Ash ” Now would we want that. No right?? So just leave the place now, before something terrible happens with both of you. ”
She left his hand, he and his friend were being dragged out by the bodygaurds. Mark moved to her side ” Everything is fine. I will see to it. ” she nodded her head. Everyone was puzzled of what happened.
Nick ” Wow. That was incredible. Bravo!!” and patted her back. Arjun asked ” Are you fine?? ” She nodded her head. They all went to eating again. Soon the party ended and all departed to their places.

Ash entered her home, she was hell tired. She saw nandeesh sitting on the couch in the living room. By seeing him at this late, she knew it was all about the little incident happened at the party. But she was in no mood now. She needed sleep.
Nandeesh ” Ash. How was the party??”
Ash nodded her head. Her dad gestured her to come near him. She sat on the opposite chair. Nandeesh started” I know ash. You are not wrong, but they are media. One wrong move and you will be the next target. ”
Before she could say anything, he put his hand to stop her and continued ” I know what you want to say. But your closeness with arjun is easily noticable. I know my daughter very well. You are this close to all of them. But arjun is exception now, as radhika is not showing in public. Lots of rumours are already spreading about arjun and radhika. So it will be better if you keep distance.”
Ash ” But dad. I got some friends after long time. Why do i sacrifice them for some vile people.”
Nandeesh ” You are not understanding my dear. There is so much you dont know yet. And i dont want you to face any troubles with your childish acts. ”
” Life is great. It helps people to get up. But one wrong move and it drags down to hell. Think about it. ” kissing her head, left the room. Ash was now thinking deep about her dad’s words. His voice was concerned and vulnerable. He always wanted her to be safe.
But she was stuck at one line. ” There is so much you dont know yet. ” …… yes, she doesnt know anything. How can she handle such huge burden of company, if shd doesnt know to operate it. She has do something. And an idea clicked her mind. She smirked and patted her back for such a brilliant idea.
She decided she will run away from home and live in a different place. And try to gain experience of life. She was always in shadows of her dad or mark. Its time to explore and know about herself. She formulated a plan.

Arjun was sleeping on his bed after the hectic days of arranging party. But his deep slumber was startled by a phone call. It was from neil.
” Neil. What do you want now. Why are you calling me at this time??”
Neil ” Arjun. Ash is running away. She is moving out of the country. Im on my way. Please come fast to the airport.”
Arjun jerked up awake at the news. He couldnt believe what he was hearing. ” What?? Why??? Who told you this. ”
Neil ” I dont know what happened. Mark informed me. And im on my way. ”
Arjun” Ok. Fine. Im coming. Bye. ” and he cut the call. He rubbed his face with his hand, sighing dialled a number. It rung three times and she picked up the phone.
” Are you out of your mind?? Where are you going?? ” Ash rolled her eyes said” Arjun please talk slowly and lowly. I can hear you . No need to shout. ”
Arjun” What was that. A joke. Now tell why are you running .”
Ash ” Ok. You wont understand what i will say. So you come here. I will explain clearly. ”
Arjun ” Dont you dare run away ash. Im on my way. ”
Ash ” I promise. I will not go till i meet all you guys. Now come fast. I will be waiting at the coffee shop. ”
Arjun ” Ok. Be there. Bye. ” and hung the call muttering curses under his breath.
