“Thanks Radhika.!”,he let her down and hugged close…”I can’t let you to risk hereafter”,he kissed her forehead deep….

“Arjun…I…I..”,she inhaled deep closing her eyes.,stuttering for second time before him.,and he stood reading her features…His palms on her small back.,had its hold
firm.,and his lips twitched a little guessing her words….She did seem to fight with herself to ask it…

“Jerry..!! Look me!”,his digits on her back tapped there…

“I..Can you please give this back to me..?”,her hold on him sagged.,annoyed on herself…

“Why honey?”,he chuckled an unseen one…

“Don’t make fun please”,she whined like a plead..

“Why would I darrlingg”,he pressed her more into him….A momentary chortle escaped from her lips at that….

“Will you please..give the power to me?”,she asked raising her head a little…

With his form straight.,he glanced downwards to have a look on her.,and nodded negatively….Her eyes grasped his every feature expressing him.,his mind..,his eyes
narrowed to hers.,and his left brow cocked up a little,were enough to make her realize his mock…

“Why…Its my company”,she tried to get away from his hold…

“Yes..I never denied that”,he said hoarsely,trying to pull her back to him… “Its yours…That is your seat…what else…”,his brows raised for her…

“Oh..why…That’s your place Sir..Please”,she said through her teeth…

“Radhika!”,his voice was low and clear when she shoved his hand…

“I want it”,she demanded looking away…

“Get back to your work…we will speak later”,he patted her shoulder….she glanced him enraged…

“Work?!! I won’t step here until you give the authority to me”,she said with her chin high…

He smiled a little at that…His girl..!! demanding her right instead of beating around the bush…like what she did a week back…he was happy with his effect on her…Neil was correct… She was in need of him.,his presence to be herself.,to be back in herself….he pulled her chin to face him.,smiling at this thought….She slapped his palm.,glaring him..

“I will..If you prove yourself smart..clever..in short eligible for being a chairperson!”,his crisp.,clear voice fueled her temper…

She was indeed everyone’s choice.,not to forget even her mom Piyali supported….While every other person associated with her business,praise her skill.,He..her husband!! indirectly points she isn’t fit to take over her own company….

“Fate !! I would say…”,she smirked derisive… “Am demanding for my right!”..

“Your fault..I would say…”,he pulled her completely to face him…”Opportunities are worthier than Gold my love…you missed when you were offered “,he saw her deep into her eyes…

Her anger diluted as realization dawned upon her…Yes.!! She was asked for the take over..!! But she had other plans..and now…her eyes involuntarily shut by itself,annoyed with the present situation..She needs Birdsong! It was stupid of her to think that there was no one else to claim other than her….

“I agree..It was my mistake…Why don’t you give me a..”,her words were cut in…

“Am not like your dad..!! I never offer anything to anyone in business…Did you realize the value of your company and this position before neglecting it..Tell me..! you knew you are the legal heir..then why did you step back in first place…”,his stern voice accompanied his piercing gaze…

“Because.,I preferred Sam over me! I want her to..”

“Okay then…I will give it to Sam”,he turned around…

She mentally slapped herself…Sam is still a kiddo…the more she argues,he will go on and she was sure.,he will never let her win….

“You knew all this..why Arjun”,she walked to him.,and he played with a paper weight… “I need to handle.,until Sam…”,she stopped when he turned his gaze to her..

“You know what..I simply hate all this,related to your properties….you behave like a fool and am unable to taunt you…when will you execute those basic business rules..”,he shook his head..

“Fool…? Enough…You are calling me by those names…too bad Arjun…”,she pouted angrily…

“What if I prove.you.are.a.fool”,he smiled sardonically….Thinning her lips.,she punched his stomach and he twisted her hand pulling her with him….she gasped when he tapped her left butt…”You used have pen in your back pockets isn’t”,he said hitting the next one…She jumped in his hold…”Idiot!! I will give”

He smiled pulling out a pen…”Why do you have it there”,he winked and sat pulling her to his lap…”If I need to take hold.,it will be with you…like this…”,his finger pointed their form..

“You had pens on table isn’t?”,she tried to get off his lap…

“But I need this…”,he pulled a file and was about to sign when she pulled it back…

“You should read before you sign.you fool…and this is a dummy contract…I myself doesn’t want it for BS”,she made a face…

“Really”,he got it back… “Wow..The conditions seems to be good…Lemme sign…”,he signed almost two pages,holding her hands over the table….”Call Amit and send it to that company”,he said signing the remaining papers…

“I told..I don’t want it…Arjun!! Listen…”,she turned aggrieved pushing a pen stand down…

He sat in silence watching her…”How dare..you sign when I said not to…”,she tried to hold the papers…

“See..you proved you are a fool”,he smirked…”Read it…The doc has your name…will my sign make it valid?…and when its unnecessary why to bother if I sign or not”,he asked…

She slapped her forehead…..

“Anger.!! Your anger is your weakness..and your strength..”,he said before glancing the document…she laid her head on his chest after a minute.,when he made her to..

“Jerry!! I love this working style…with you in my lap..and file in my other hand….”,his raspy voice brought her out of her world…..”Dummy contract?..to fool whom..?Amit? “,he asked and she pointed a name tagged as 2nd party…..”If Neil comes.,he will tease us for romancing here.”,he tittered before pulling out his mobile…He glanced her form,sitting comfortable on his lap.,with a deep thought…He texted to Atif while his gaze was glued with her every reaction…

“Amit doesn’t seem to favor JK’s…I mean our Rivals”,he stressed the word ‘Our’..and she nodded affirmative….He laid his head back.,caressing her hair…her finger played with his button…

“You won’t like arguments…”,she said feeble….

“Yes..”

“But I want to ask…”

“You thought….I will give it to you even after watching your silly stunts…”,he was about to speak further.,but Neil came in pushing the door open…Neil looked startled for a second.,at the sight of Radhika in Arjun’s lap…he quickly closed the door behind but Arjun laughed at that….”I thought you would step outside”,Arjun said as Radhika got on her feet…

“I would have..but…Now..this little one…is finding ways to avoid me…Radzzie….you din’t trust me isn’t?”,Neil glared her..

Arjun took few steps away noticing Neil’s severity…She gave puppy eyes look turning towards Arjun and he blinked at them….

“Neil…”,Arjun called..

“Arjun..stay away from this…What would have happened if we din’t reach here…Is she that capable to handle those idiotic morons…”,Neil had his eyes on her…

“Neil..I din’t expect it to go this worse”,she walked towards Arjun,but he moved towards Neil in turn…

“Stop playing!! Is it any fun..”,Neil turned to Arjun… “Arjun..! She ain’t any kid…so better behave your way…!”,Neil said stern…

“C’mon Neil…I had…”,Arjun’s words were cut in…

“No..she won’t listen you…Instead.,will find ways to fool you…”,Neil gritted his teeth glaring her and Radhika pouted disappointment…Arjun looked them amused….Neil lamented about the situation he faced an hour back…

“Arjun..he is exaggerating”,she saw him…

“Oh…!! Are you scared for his wrath…I never knew?”,Neil said high,mocking her voice…

“Neil…were they all really investors?…how they came in suddenly?…and why weren’t you informed?..”,Arjun asked tensed…

“Ask your wife”,Neil glared her… His mobile rang with Sam’s number…”Yea..she is safe…we are here..Sammy..pls…stop worrying…”.,Neil said irritated,gesturing Radhika to speak…The moment she got his mobile.,Neil pulled her other ear as she continued speaking with Sam…

Arjun snatched it and spoke.,”Samaira..!! Come to Birdsong now..”..

“Why..No..Sam..don’t”,Radhika yelled before he could finish…

“Shut up..! Just Shut up…You want to handle everything alone…”,Arjun crooked his neck a little to Radhika… “Samaira..are you getting my point?”,he asked..

“Haa…yes..yes…Jiju…wha..What’s the problem..? Di…di…”

“Samaira…Your sister will be in trouble if left alone…So…you have to….”,he disconnected without wasting a second..

“Arjun..You have no rights to order Sam..and..she won’t step here until I say”,Radhika moved away…Arjun snapped his look to Neil and he confirmed her words..

“Jer..Radhika…..Sam should know all this..to tackle such situations..After a month we won’t be here…She needs to understand a lot..She isn’t like you…and..now
we are here to help her isn’t…”,his voice toned down suddenly….”Don’t be stubborn..!!”…

“She is coming here Radhika..!! if that happens..I will give the authority to her..”,Arjun moved towards the cushion….

“I texted her to come..”,She said after a minute..”I din’t mean to corner you….Arjun…”,she stood in the middle of that cabin.,with a pleading look…

“Very bad habit Radzzie..He was saying for her good…”,Neil said sipping water..

“Did I ask to.?..I was just discussing isn’t..he dealt it like a deal…”,she walked towards Arjun…

“So..you mean..you wont claim until he gives it back?”,Neil asked winking to Arjun turning the other side…

“Yes..I won’t”,she sat next to Arjun…

“Radzzie…..What’s this act for?”,Neil asked turning the bottle cap closed…she blinked confused.,but Arjun jerked a little,and turned to his side..

“Neil…have a watch on your words man”,he said..

“Hey..Relax..”

“I din’t get you Neil.”,Radhika saw him..

“Nothing..he is blabbering…Lets…”..Arjun tried to cover up…

“But Arjun…I need to clear this…Radzzie…is this a way,you behave with your rival.,who got your company’s hold…last week..you made a hue and cry and now..?”,Neil walked leisurely to the other side of the cabin…

Arjun pulled her laptop and asked her password…she typed slowly.,biting her lips…”Now tell me…why you suspect Jk Associates with Amit?”,he asked only to avert her.,not to think the way Neil preferred..

She sat in silence but opened the folders which had her week long work…Her analysis on every dept.. He smiled as he read few lines…

“Because..I know Arjun is not the signing authority of R & R global holdings..Its his dad..he has…”,she said,as she bend forwardly to have a look on Neil.,who was near Samrat’s table..

“Still…his dad.. its your father in law…”,Neil continued with his brows mocking her…

“Neil…”,Arjun starred him sharp..But Neil was in no mood to leave the topic..

“Ok..what would have you done..If Arjun was also the owner..,I mean…he knew everything before hand”,Neil leaned over the table facing her…

“He doesn’t…I know it…and If it was like that…”,she paused and shifted her gaze to Arjun who gestured her to continue…”I would have fought with him…legally.. may be illegally too…”,she said with his gaze on him…Arjun gave a thumbs up to her..

“That’s my girl..I love your honesty”,Arjun patted her left shoulder…

“Illegal?!! hmm….cheating…like pretending to be lovable…”,Neil dragged and her orbs widened in shock…

“I can never do so…how could..”,she looked Arjun and he glared Neil inturn…

“Don’t you think he deserves a gorilla attack for uttering such nonsense”,Arjun whispered in her ears and she smiled back… “Go!…Two punches on my behalf..”,he wound his arm around her and shook her little… “Jerry..c’mon..don’t leave him…”,he almost pushed her off the cushion…He sighed relieved as she din’t turn suspicious of how Neil came with same words of her mom…His eyes went in search of his spy pen and Neil was already playing with it..

“This fellow is dangerous”,he muttered under his breath..

Neil ran around the cabin with Radhika followed in suit,while Arjun went through the docs Radhika had made about her company…His eyes time and again got them playing and scolding each other…None noticed Sam,who came after few mins.,she stood blinking at the view before her…

“Jiju..”,she whispered when Arjun was keen reading the words in his display… He raised his head alarmed with her voice…”Work conscious?!!”,she asked…

“Yea…”,he mumbled and leaned back to check the other side.,Neil was on floor.,with his head turned on other side.,trying to grab something….

“Apologize to me”,Radhika screamed in undertone,clasping his throat…Arjun smothered his laughter watching it…

“Am not going to eat up your company”,Arjun replied when Sam saw him dubious after peeping into the laptop screen…

“Am sure..You made them quarrel like kids”,Sam thinned her lips as she sat opposite to him…

“Yes..She needs a break!”,he smiled.,as he handed her the laptop… “Mail to yourself and read later…This has everything you need to know…Your sister’s hard work..”,he
got up the next instant…

“Arjun..”,she whined when he pulled her through shoulders….

“Neil..is that chocolate so important…Get up dude”,Arjun bend himself to hold his hand…

“Yes…we fought for this Fruit and Nut”,Neil moved his right arm further under the table…

“Don’t get that table over you”,Arjun yelled frustrated…

“I threw there..for he shouldn’t get it..”,Radhika stood licking her chocolate…

Arjun saw Sam working in laptop while Neil was hell bent running his fingers on a marathon to get hold of that purple shiny cover….Radhika pulled the wrapper down and took a big bite.,and closed her eyes relishing its taste…Arjun quickly bent to her level and pecked her lips abruptly., grabbing a piece of that melting sweetness to himself….He winked holding her close and pretended to snatch the choco bar..she snuggled close biting it..

“I got it”,Neil said as he raised himself from the floor… “Arjun..this is office..Shameless..”,Neil twisted his lips chuckling.,Radhika buried her face inside Arjun’s blazer…

Arjun smiled wide.,”Yes..Next time I don’t want you to play like a kid here”…

Neil rolled his eyes at that.. “Me..kid?”,he pouted when Arjun snatched his chocolate…Neil noticed Sam working in laptop…Arjun signaled about Spy pen..Neil shook his head with a unbelievable look at him…Both the girls were in a their world..

“So..Madam..How is your fever?”,Neil walked to Sam after placing the pen in its stand…

“Was Sam there when you kissed me?”,Radhika asked in low tone,listening Neil…

“Yes.! But she din’t notice us”,he mimicked her voice when she got away from him…

“Why were you both not in contact for the past one week?”,Arjun asked straight to Sam’s face,who turned to Radhika’s side..

“Arjun..!! Ask her…Not sam..”,Neil intervened…

“She has her own set of reasons.,which she would never reveal..and let it remain so….Am not going to waste my time in that..”,Arjun threw a disappointed stare at Radhika and
explained that day’s happening to Sam…Neil turned curious when Arjun winked in between during his talk…

“50 men…Investors…How?…I want to see them…”,Sam got up instantly..

“We have Cctv footage…you can..but why?”,Arjun asked..

“Jiju…I suspect this cabin’s camera to be tampered…We will get the entrance ones…Not to forget…back entrance too…Bastards..”,she gritted her teeth…

“Kiddo…chill…they were..”,Radhika tried to intervene but Sam was already on her way out of cabin…

She was about to follow Sam., but Arjun held her wrist…”I need a cabin”,he said..

“Use this one..Dad uses this..don’t you know”.,she replied annoyed..

“I want mine”,he said…

“That..that…Arjun..you use this..else my cabin…”,Radhika turned to him…

“So..you have no qualms with his hold…I don’t like Arjun being here”,Neil continued only to stop Radhika from interfering Sam’s activities…

“Don’t play smart Neil…I know..you both are….”,she bit her tongue and Arjun chuckled walking to her..

“We both are.?!..”,Arjun encouraged her…

“I will get your cabin done”,she quickly walked out of that place…

Arjun leaned to Neil…”Sam is a step ahead..isn’t”…

Neil nodded thoughtfully…”Radzzie won’t like Sam being involved…I will check the footage”,he moved…

Radhika glanced Arjun’s disarranged cabin… “Looks pleasant”,she jerked listening his voice from behind…”You suspected me?”,he asked…

“No..”,she mumbled…

He closed the door behind…Only Teji was there near Printer machine.,while others had already left for their lunch…

“Then..why are those wall papers torn”,he asked pointing the opposite wall…

She saw him.,his gaze to fell on every object of his cabin…papers strewn on the floor…the untidy look of his cabin displeased him beyond the extent….The day already gave its enough share of surprise.,more than him holding her company.,his demeanour was new to her…After that day,when he demanded her not to disturb,watching Faizal’s factory accident.,its only today she got to see this side of him….Her body unconsciously shivered a little anticipating his questions….Its not like she is weak…But something…something of which she never got to know or see in her Arjun scared her…

“I asked something”,his voice came little irritated as he checked his table drawers…

“Ah..I asked to check for Spy cameras”,she blurted when he tapped that half torn wall paper…His brows furrowed after a second…

“I..Arjun…Am not sure you would believe or not…but I had a doubt that you might be trapped….I checked your details completely…Its only after you.,company faced a severe blow…but then again you brought deals…Teji said.,you weren’t attentive in your work until you faced that major blow before your presence…and I enquired with Amit…so..I made them to ransack…..and check for cameras..I felt..you are…”

“Trapped?”,he asked standing close to her..

She saw him with disbelief…He was not angry instead was curious…

Her face lit with a instant smile….”God!!..I was scared for a second”,she leaped looping her arms around him….”I can’t help with my temper…”..

“I thought to have this to favor you..in case if I…was about to file a case against you…like we can make up any kinda story on our favor”,she rolled her tongue looking the ground beneath…

“Your car’s Insurance…”,she turned her gaze away…

“Not even in my wildest dreams.,I expected such a situation between us…Rivals…Take over…allegations…statements”,his left foot stamped on wall behind,he leaned forward to hold her wrist…Her whole depicted her being uncomfortable with the moment…

“Arju….I love you the way you are…you were…I thought you are a simple man….This….it was equally troublesome for me while I inquired about you..”,she said upset..

“I know…Thats the reason I love you more..than that of our college days…Must say..am bowled over with you work about BS…You will get that person..Trust me!! But…Truth comes with pain..”,he caressed her cheek..

She smiled looking straight in his eyes.. “You know.,once I thought you are too simple for me…”,she shook her head… “But now..!! Its opposite..! I may end up with no wealth…May be…”

“Sshhh…you are enough for me…I love Radhika…only Radhika…My girl! and she still masks her fear to her husband..”,he smiled when she hugged him by waist…”This time I won’t let you alone…and I want to know what made you say those…”,his hands embraced her with love and possessiveness..

She tried hard to remember her words.,he mentioned…

He came like a ray of hope.,when she thought to finish every problem of her life and leave this city forever…Now.,her priorities has got changed….Amidst of all confusions.,he was her heart’s ultimatum.!…She tuned herself stubborn only with a expectation of one chance to live with her Arjun just like the way she wished…She felt tears to cloud her vision….

“Your senior asked you something”,he patted her left cheek…

“You are my weakness!”,she pouted averting her gaze…

“The solution lies at the same place…Make me your strength..”,he winked..

She saw his face.,his smile dissembling his worries…ARM!! A person who have no reason to worry on anything,was before her,masquerading his fret..his actual thoughts only to make her strong…She indeed had a thought what if he dismisses her preferences about Sam…but No..he preferred to be with her…

“I am a trouble for a person like you”,she thinned her lips…

“Then be my serenity..harmony of my soul…”,he smiled… “It hurts when you speak so in my presence..”..,he played with her chin..

“I feel inferior Arjun..”,tears made its way down her cheeks as she said it…

“If you were so.,you may not be targetted…!!”..

She had no words to argue..instead rolled her eyes…”May be…they misjudged..”,she smiled fighting her tears back…

“But I never…!”,he said the next moment pulling her into his arms….

“Missing my Jerry..!! Naughty one…!!…My wife is my strength…,”he kissed her forehead and she hugged him more….

His mobile vibrated with Neil’s text message….
