~THE TRAP~
Her hands automatically reached her head as she felt a sharp pain in her head. Her eyelids still so heavy, she was unable to open her eyes. She closed her eyes tightly as few blur flashes starts to come in front of her. She and sanskar meeting in the temple, they both playing holi and then… she could feel herself sweating a lot. And finally, she opened her eyes with a lot of difficulty, she saw herself in a new place, there was a small bulb glowing in yellow colour, but other than that, the whole room was dark. She holded her head again trying to remember what happened, in which she miserably failed. Tears form in her eyes seeing no one around her. She saw herself lying on a floor. She stood up, she walked around the room and stumbled many times because of the darkness, she touched the walls, but was not able to find where even the door was. She becomes scared, and gulped her tears. “anyone is here?” she whispered chokingly, still scared. And when she heard nothing but her own voice as an echo, She falls on the floor, crying…. And suddenly, she remembered something, even sanskar was with her, where is he now? Is he even safe? Her feared red teary eyes widened at the thought of it. “sanskar!” she whispered. She hugged her knees and cried, her heart and soul still breaking at the thought of something happening to sanskar….

Sanskar opened his eyes slowly, only to close it immediately as he saw a bright light. He blinked his eyes and then managed to open them fully. He looked around and saw darkness everywhere, but there was a bright light coming from a small hole, that was actually on the ceiling. He looked around the place confused as he remembered nothing, he closed his eyes, he remembered only till he and swara was playing holi….after that.. suddenly he opened his eyes. SWARA! Where was she? He again looked around and ran around the room, tears form in his eyes as he could not see swara anywhere. He looked at his left hand and saw the red holy thread that swara tied it to him. he touched it with his right hand as a drop of his tear fell on it. What was even happening around and where is…swara?… he kept his hand in the pocket. Damn it! Where was his phone? He looked around again and again trying to find any clue, and he saw a small hole, he went near it, he could see nothing but he assumed it to be a key hole and that was a door. He touched it and tried to move it, in which he was unsuccessful, he punched it angrily, he tried to break the door, and after a lot of trial, he kicked the door for a last time angrily and then gave up. He moved back as tears flowed from his eyes, “where are you swara?” he whispered as he cried. He sat on the floor wiping his sweat and taking a deep breathe, trying to calm himself, to find a solution. Suddenly he heard a sound, he looked up from the floor and saw the door opening, the bright light came inside and he again closed his eyes, and when he opened them, he was shocked to the core. His eyes red with anger as he stood up from his place. He closed his fist trying to control himself from not just strangle the neck and kill the man who was standing in front of him with a smirk. “BHAVENDHAR!” he whispered angrily…

Swara jerked from her place, as even the only source of light in the room, that bulb also stopped glowing. The place was filled with complete darkness. She cried aloud now feeling more scared. She clutched her dress and closed her eyes tightly. She suddenly starts hearing many noises, maybe outside the room, she cried keeping her hand on her head frustrated as she was clueless about whatever happening around her. She lied down on the cold floor, she wiped her tears and closed her eyes trying to sleep to get out from this feeling of fear, but still sleep was far away from her, her heart only thinking about sanskar…

“you also have fallen in the trap that was made only for swara!” sanskar gets shocked hearing him, his anger overpowering him, his face turning red and at the next moment, he slapped bhavendhar who looked shocked at him. before sanskar could beat him again, the goons present there caught both of his hands and dragged him away from Bhavendhar. Sanskar, still not taking his eyes from the killer of his dear shekhar uncle tried to fight with them, acting like a complete mad because of his furiousness. “do you remember the Prasad, swara got in the temple?” bhavendhar asked smirking, sanskar stopped struggling and looked at him shocked. “you didn’t let swara had it anyway. Even you had a very less of it! So there was only little effect on you! That’s why, when you were celebrating holi, my men mixed bhang in your drinks”. Sanskar looked at him with pure hatred in his eyes, if those goons would have not stopped him, he swear he would have killed him. “where is swara?” he whispered in a dangerous voice, his eyes still red with anger and fear for swara. “swara is…” bhavendhar started only to be interrupted by sanskar, “don’t take her name from your mouth, you deserved that slap only because you said her name! I will kill you…” sanskar was confused as his sentence was left incomplete, he stopped whatever he was saying because bhavendhar started laughing like a mad suddenly. He stopped his laugh and then went out of the room, even the goons followed him leaving sanskar in a confused state…

“he had killed both of my most powerful men. He can be dangerous for me too. I thought to threaten him by swara! But we got him too!” bhavendhar said smirking to his other goons. He was a cunning man, he had did many things in his business, and he cannot let himself lose in front of a policeman like sanskar! “did that girl wake up?” he asked. “till now, I heard no noise from her room!” a goon said, for which bhavendhar just nodded.

Sanskar caressed the thread in his hand, don’t know how swara will be now. He closed his eyes tightly as his helplessness killed him. he was able to do nothing for her. He tried to remember what exactly happened to get any clue, he holded his head as few flashed starts to come in front of him. he and swara dancing…. swara hugging him in the car and then… he holded his head tight as everything he can see was becoming blur. He punched the wall being frustrated as he was able to remember nothing. He went to the door and tried to break it again… maybe even swara was here. “SWARA!” he starts shouting her name banging the door, but no response. He cried as he got scared for her. He joined his back on the door, he slided and sat down, he cried hugging his knees and hiding his face. As he failed to save his devil…

Swara opened her eyes wide, and she immediately sat as whatever happened on the previous night came in the form of dream to her. She could see blur flashes, sanskar coming to her room…he crying beside her….he holding her hands…his words..today her dance with him….sanskar closing her mouth with his hand for calling him police and then…she could remember nothing other than this. The reason for her happiness? She smiled as she whispered, “you do hurt me sanskar! but your presence itself have always given me immense happiness!” she gets sad as she can remember his choking voice while saying this, he must be very guilty! “you mean a lot to me!” his words ringing in her mind again and again. Suddenly, “no one should know I am a police!”….”you are so cute”….. all these words starts to play in her mind again and again and again, but she was unable to remember anything properly. “ahh!” she shouted feeling something on her leg. Everything was pitch darkness, and she could see nothing, she gets scared again. She starts to walk not even knowing where she was going as she could see nothing. The goons heard her shout and opened the door. And at the sudden contact of bright light, swara closed her eyes, after that she opened her eyes and saw the goons and gets more scared….

THUD! The door finally broke with his bang, and sanskar sighed and smiled happily with tears. Thankfully, there were no goons, but where did they all go? But now, more than anything else, it was necessary to save swara…his innocent devil…

Ragini almost stepped inside the police station crying knowing nothing about her sister since morning and even sanskar was missing! And her phone suddenly rang, she looked at the called id and almost stumbled as she didn’t expect him…’BHAVENDHAR UNCLE’…

Sanskar ran around the place, but there was not even a single person in that go down like place, he suddenly slipped on something, he bent down and touched it, it was swara’s bangle that had a drop of blood on it. His throat goes dry at the thought of something happening to swara. He starts to feel suffocating and breathes heavily in that darkness filled go down. His eyes widened as tears starts to flow from his eyes, and he fell down on the floor feeling his soul breaking, he looked at her bangle as he whispered, “SWARA!”….
