Chapter: 31

Ishana went to the car and wiped kavya’s face as it was all messed up due to crying. She just pouted and held ishu’s hand and said in a crying tone.
K: cha… ii… mu… ma… ahn… ai… (chachi where is mumma?)
I: (hugging her she said in a soothing tone) don’t worry sweety mumma will come soon and we will find her very soon. Till then be calm.
K: cha… ii… mu… ma… cha… iye… (I want mumma chachi.)
I: (cupping her face) kavya… mumma will be with us very soon. Common now be a good girl and have some water. (ishana gave her water but kavya just pushed that bottle away. Ishana said with a pleading tone) please baby…
K: (like a stubborn kid) nai…
I: acha nai… fine if for not you then try having some for me. (kavya nodded in a negative ishana too nodded in a negative and said.) acha you will not drink for chachi also fine then drink some for mumma.
Kavya finally agreed and ishana smiled and ruffled her hair and made her drink water. Inside the temple shivay was looking at the messed-up state of temple. Dev tapping him asked.
De: what happened shivay what are you looking at so deeply?
S: nothing… I was thinking if anika had managed to reach here then she must be held captive somewhere here only.
O: okay, so what is going on your mind shivay?
S: why don’t we go and check this place and the nearby area?
De: but shivay this is a huge area and kavya and ishana are also with us, it is not safe.
S: haan once rudy comes we will send kavya and ishu home then we will search this area.
The rest nodded and as planned rudy took ishana and kavya home and shivay and the rest searched the nearby area. They at last found the place where anika and kavya were held captive. Shivay boiled looking at the place and said in anger.

S: Daksh Khurana I swear I will not leave you. You will have to pay a huge rent for this.
De: (in the mean-time dev who was searching the room where anika was kept found a chit with something scribbled on it. He read it and it was written by anika) shivay, I just hope that kavya is with you now. If I wanted I could have tried to save myself also but shivay by that we both might have landed in risk again. I don’t know where are they taking me but please do take care of kavya. I can tolerate the pain but I can’t drag kavya in that. All I want to say is if possible find me soon else I don’t know what will these two do with me. Till then take care of yourself shivay.
Shivay who had come there looking around for dev saw him standing there and came to him. He saw that he was looking at something very deeply. He took it and read the thing which anika had written. He looked back at dev who had a thin layer of tear in his eyes. Shivay kept his hand on dev’s shoulder and dev said in a calm tone.
De: shivay I need my sister back at any cost.
S: dev I promise I will bring her soon. Please handle yourself.
De: why does she always need to face situations like this? She always used to say that happiness has never stayed in her life and she is afraid whenever happiness comes in her way pains also crosses her path whose strength is double than the happiness. You know what shivay when she was in goa with me I have seen her wait for you, our neighbours always used to taunt her that she is a burden on me and don’t know who is kavya and don’t know what all. She has suffered a lot. Even now also she is the same situation.
S: I am sorry dev the situation which anika is in now is because of me. she was right she must have not returned with me from goa. If she was with you she might have not been in a situation like this.
De: yaa exactly… but shivay she might have not lived if you might have not come back. Shivay her life resides in you and let her faith remain the same.
S: anyways let us go from here… we need to reach home. Come.
They started for home. While on the other hand anika was being dragged to another room by daksh. After reaching a room daksh left anika and she almost fell on the ground. He said in anger.
Da: eyy anika I am asking you for the last time where is kavya?
A: (smiling) what do you think daksh I will leave my daughter just like that without assuring that she will be safe or not? I am not that absent minded like you are.

Da: (taking a chair and sitting in front of her. he said clapping) well I must appreciate your guts anika even on getting beated ruthlessly you are still daring to talk like this to me.
A: (sitting erect with great difficulty and then said facing him) you might not realize the consequence of making me in a situation like this right now but don’t forget you will not get a single second to regret daksh. And to answer the question you were asking me till now kavya is safe with shivay and the rest. Happy now.
Da: how can she get back to shivay just like it?
A: well daksh why don’t you think of a way to safe guard yourself? I promise you won’t get a chance to safe yourself after that.
Da: (coming and kneeling down in front of her) okay so you are planning to tell that you will harm me… (holding her roughly by her shoulder) then I am in front of you and at an approximate distance close to you the. Common kill me.
A: (smiling and pushing him away with her remaining force) I don’t wish to make my hand dirty by killing you daksh. Let that honour be done by someone else.
Da: (one of the men brought food and daksh lending it to anika said) acha chalo you won’t make your hands dirty by killing me then at least have some food ordered by me. it is your favourite food dear.
A: (she just pushed the food away and said) even if I die over here due to starving then also I won’t eat anything.
Da: (smiling) okay… (he took out something from his pocket and it was some sort of injection he said injecting it) don’t worry by this you will not feel hunger instead you will die inch by inch due to the minute pain which it will impulse in you by the passing time. Have a sweet painful time dear.
Ranveer who had come there had seen daksh injecting the dose and came there and took the bottle of liquid. He said getting shocked.
Ra: mamu what have you done? She has not eaten anything from 2 days and you have injected this high dose of drug in her body. What will we do if she dies?
A: (with the inject of drug she felt drowsy but she heard what ranveer told and said in a drowsy tone) don’t worry ranveer I won’t die so smoothly. I will overcome this dose but your mamu will not get saved from the wrath of my husband.

Daksh just slapped anika and he was about to slap her more but ranveer stopped him and said.
Ra: mamu find the antidot of this drug else she will die for sure.
Da: she couldn’t be mine so she cannot be anyone’s ranveer. Anyways, any information of where she has hidden the kid.
Ra: hmm she is with the Oberoy’s. she is safe.
Da: till now I had thought that I will spare her giving the antidot but now she is not worth it. (saying so he left from there.)
Ra: mamu… mamu listen please don’t do this we will land in great trouble.
But daksh was gone from there. Anika with the passing time could feel her muscles stiffening and with moving time she was dragged into unbearable pain. Shivay who was in mansion drinking water could feel enormous pain in his heart and he just dropped the glass which he was holding. Om who was with him asked.
O: shivay everything fine… what happened why did you drop the glass like this?
S: nothing I am feeling uneasy. Something serious is happening with anika and that’s for sure.
O: (patting his shoulder) she you are being stressed too much bro.
S: no om I am saying the truth… I always used to feel this when anika was in danger.
O: (patting his back) shivay please relax you go to kavya she needs you now.
Shivay nodded and he went to room and found dev, ishu and kavya there. He smiled looking at kavya and said.
S: so, my princess is enjoying her stay over here haan…
K: (looking around and finding anika missing) mu… ma… aha… n… ai… (where is mumma?)
De: baby mumma will come soon? please be a good girl now.
K: nai… me… n…. ood… ir… el… nai… oon… (no I am not a good girl.)
I: (smiling and taking kavya in her lap) acha and who told that my niece is not a good girl. My kavya is the best girl and cute baby in the world.
K: (annoyed) nai… nai… nai… (no… no… no…)
S: (smiled and taking kavya from her said) hey you two why are you making my princess angry haan… (making kavya face him) chalo papa’s princess tell me what she wants?
K: (softly) mu… ma… ujhe… cha… iye… pa… pa… (I want mumma papa.)
S: acha you want mumma and I also want your mumma princess… but princess do you believe your papa. (kavya thought for some-time and the nodded in a yes) so, believe your papa I will soon bring your mumma back. Okay.
K: (in a worried tone) pa… pa… voh… ure… ai… (papa they are very bad)
S: (smiling) but kavya’s papa is more worse than them. Okay now leave that I know that you didn’t get what you wanted. So, let me guess what my princess wants.
K: ujhe… uch… nai… cha… iye… (no, papa I don’t want anything.)
S: baby do you want your mumma to scold me for not taking care of you, haan do you want your papa to face the wrath of Jhansi Ki Raani.
Kavya smiled and nodded in a yes and shivay looked at her in disbelief. She just kissed him on cheeks and started laughing. The rest two sighed a breath of relief as they were trying to make kavya normal. Shivay smiled and looking at kavya said.
S: acha now you to have started behaving like anika, anyways would you like to have your sticky food haan. (kavya nodded) fine then come…
While the police traced ranveer’s cell as he by mistake switched on his cell to call the men. They informed Khanna and he asked the police to check the location beforehand and the police obeyed. At the place where anika was kept she was withering in pain due to the severe but she somehow managed to keep her eyes open. At that time, she overheard the men nearby talking.
Man 1: wish she could escape.
Man 2: you idiot just remove this thought from your mind. You want to get us all beating from boss.
Man 1: but think na she is so sweet after-all and what do you think shivay singh oberoy will leave us so simply after knowing what all boss did with his wife.
Man 2: but we have no other way yaar. We have to obey our boss order.
Man 1: I just wish if she gets a chance then let her escape from the window which is near the next wall…
Man 2: and what about the heights you fool… she will die for sure if she falls off from there.
Man 1: it is better to die rather than being caged here like this.
Man 2: that’s also true.
A: (But little did they know that someone else was hearing that too… anika thought and said to herself.) okay so there is a way for me to escape. I thought I will be jailed here forever. Ohh… how I wish I could thank these men for helping me out. But how god damn am I supposed to get up with the hell bending pain. Common anika you have to do this… not for yourself but for shivay. common anika he needs you and you can do it.
She somehow managed to stand up holding the things kept near her. the more she tried to help herself she used to end up herself in pain. But she managed by encouraging herself. All she had in her mind was to get back to her family. Shivay’s and kavya’s face was flashing in front of her eyes and she managed to reach the window. She somehow stood near the railing and looked down to see the height. She was already fainting and on looking at the height her head swayed more.
While on the other hand the police informed Khanna of the place being guarded by men inside. Khanna went there and the police had surrounded the place already and they were ready to face whatever may come. And Khanna had started off from mansion all alone. while anika overcame her fear and she said to herself.
A: the man was right if I jump from here then I am sure I will die for sure. But I can’t stay here like this I have to jump. (but the pain was increasing and increasing) god what kind of pain is this it is not even leaving me for a second. Anyways, I have to jump.
Khanna reached the told address and he was about to get in when he saw anika sitting near the window and she was also swaying. He thought.
Kh: what is anika mam doing by sitting on the window pane? And why is she swaying like this?
He thought to indicate anika and he was also gesturing her to see but little did he know that anika was under the effect of high dose of drug. In the mean-time shivay called Khanna as he was missing at the needed time. Khanna was seeing what anika was doing and finally understood that she was going to jump, and he attended the call without noticing who the caller was and shivay on the other end started shouting.
S: what the hell Khanna where are you? and what took you so long to answer my call haan? and where are you now? Have you got any information about anika?
Now Khanna was in dilemma what should he answer. On one hand, he was seeing anika swaying and trying to jump while on the other hand his boss was questioning him without even giving him a time to reply back. Shivay on the other hand said very angrily.
S: you Khanna are you on the other end…. Why aren’t you answering my questions?
Kh: (he finally thought to answer) sir I am at the place where anika mam is right now?
S: oh really, and when were you planning to tell me that Khanna? Khanna tell me where are you now?
Kh: sir I have sent you the location… and I will ask you to better to reach here before anika mam jumps from the place she is right now.
S: (he was stood up shocked and he stormed out of the house on seeing the location sent) what do you mean by that? And why the hell will she jump?
While anika finally made up her mind and thought to herself.
A: common anika you can do it…
But in the mean-time daksh came to the room to find anika sitting on the pavement of the window. He said almost in aghast.

Da: what the hell are you doing anika? and how did you gain consciousness so soon?
A: (without turning but still in daze) well all thanks to my luck daksh I was never yours and will never be yours at least not in this birth.
Da: (coming close) what do you think you will do anika? will you try to jump?
A: and if I need to do it I will surely jump daksh. (In the mean-time shivay too reached there and was looking where Khanna and the rest were looking and all he could hear was anika telling.) but I will not stay here with a person like you. it is better to die rather than living a life like a slave. So, (daksh was nearing her) don’t you dare come close daksh… and why am I saying this to you… good bye kidnapper.
S: anika don’t…
Kh: mam… don’t jump…
But it was too late and anika had already jumped off. And all they could see at last was anika lying in a pool of blood and shivay stood there numb without any movement as his life was lying right in front of his eyes motionless.

So, that’s it for today I don’t know what this chapter was. if it was stupidity then please do let me know as I am even not satisfied after writing this chappy.
