The family notices fire smoke coming from backyard. They find the backyard in fire. Doshi comes inside and calls for water from the people gathered there.
Rani hears someone calling Raaj and wonders why she feels so impatient. She pours water for herself. There is a sudden knock at the door. Chitra comes looking for Raaj. Rani says Raaj didn’t come here. Chitra was unable to communicate that she heard people in the godown who saw Raaj going inside.
Vasundra thinks now she would watch Rani and her family suffer.
The police informs Doshi it seems to be an accident, an oil tank got fire inside. The police say they have found a body inside, it’s badly burnt. They find a ring of Raaj from inside, the men carry a body from besides them. An inspector brings a ring, Rani recognizes it as Raaj’s. She denies the possibility and cries saying this can’t be Raaj’s.
The next morning, Anandi takes Preiti to bring Rani and Raaj downstairs. Sakshi was sitting beside Rani and asks when Raaj would return from God’s. Anandi takes Sakshi and tells Preiti to bring Rani downstairs. Preiti brings Rani downstairs. Rani cries beside Raaj’s body that she can’t live without him, he promised to be with her always. Chitra cries for her luck. Vasundra comes to Chitra and smirks watching Raaj’s body being taken. Rani cries behind while Preiti and Anandi holds her behind.
Later, Vasundra drinks in the room, thinking another one is down.
Rani comes inside looking for Raaj’s photo.
Vasundra says she wants to celebrate her victory. She says Rani herself agreed to let her stay here and made her job easy, she didn’t realize she loves taken other’s lives. She wanted to hear them cry and took her revenge, it soothes her. She comes to Raaj’s photo she had marked a cross over. There is a knock at the door, Rani enters the room. Vasundra was sitting on a couch and cries saying she can’t believe Raaj is no more. She curses her steps into the house. Rani tells her not to blame herself, she asks about Raaj’s photo downstairs. Vasundra says she didn’t see any. Rani turns to leave, Vasundra had hidden the photo between two couches. Rani turns around and spots the photo with a marked cross over it. Vasundra stops Rani asking what happened, Doshi comes to call Rani downstairs. Vasundra was relieved.
Rani comes to Chitra in the room. Chitra asks Rani how they would live without Raaj. Rani notices Sakshi sleeping. Rani reads a note besides Sakshi, she asked God to send Raaj back. She would send chocolates to them. Chitra tells Rani to take care of herself, they must learn to live without Raaj. Rani lay her head over her shoulder.
At night, there was a knock at the door. Vasundra wonders who has been knocking at this time. She opens the door but no one was there outside. She shuts the door but there was a knock again, she opens it but no one was outside. She finds a small gift box on the door steps. Inside there was a note that Vasundra forgot this in godown, he is returning with love. She finds her earring in the box and was shocked, she wonders how does the sender know she was there in the godown. There was a knock at the door again, Vasundra spots foot steps in the corridor and follows them. The foot steps reached a room. Doshi lay in the bed asleep. Vasundra thinks if Doshi know about her truth, she thinks she wouldn’t let Doshi be a hurdle of her way. She tries to suffocate him with a cushion but hears some noise outside. Doshi was awake.
Rani speaks to Sunanda that she has been trying to live without Raaj, its difficult. Anandi gets breakfast for Rani. Rani cries as Anandi says Raaj would also have wanted her to eat. Doshi brings Rani a copy of Raaj’s photo.

PRECAP: Rani comes with some ladies in veil. One of the veiled lady comes to point a gun towards Vasundra.

    I am happy that Raaj will be back shortly but there was a body in the burnt storeroom,,wonder whose body it is,,,,,,,,the person who comes back ,is he Raaj only,if so ,why is he obeying every wish of Vasundhara?OR a look alike of Raaj..I hope the writers won’t do any crazy things at this juncture,actually this burning track itself is not necessary.One intriguing thing is the foot steps that Vasundhara sees ,are they Toshi’s or Raaj’s?I think ,Toshi knows something,do you think friends ,that this is all planned by Raaj and Toshi to make Prieti understand that Vikram and his mother are not just bad but savages ?Too many questions, and only the writers know the answers.

    Hello Naz atlast some consolation ,Raaj will be back after tomorrow ‘s episode ,but there are different versions ,some say he is a look alike of Raaj hired by Vasundhara ,I don’t think the writers will repeat Naina ‘s track here,Rani will never accept a look alike of Raaj.Let us see what the writers have up their sleeves. Friend ,whatever will bethe ending ,we are going to miss Sartaj ,as you said there is something in his eyes and smile that is irressistable and Eisha as rani did a great job,both of them really look cute and made for each other..Iwould love to see them as a couple in real life also.
    I think you are very busy with the festival,actually Ramadan never fails to surprise me I feel it is a complete all in one festival.,a month of prayers ,fasting and feasting with family ,friends and relatives,Coming Sunday,my colleague Mumtaz has invited us for Iftar,.Naz,her family is a huge joint family of almost 50 members and they are such lovely people ,I always look forward to her Iftars.
    Friend as I mentioned in my previous post ,the practice of Rudalis is prevalent only in Rajasthan ,those women only wear black.Of ourse different regions in India follow different customs and there is no dearth of strange practices in India And yes,Rudali is a different picture, Dimple acted very well as a Rudali.Worth seeing.

      Nice comment Lakshmi. This month is always busy for me and you are right, it’s a month long type of celebration. You go enjoy by your friend Mumtaz and with so many people, that’s one big celebration!! Thanks for the little info on the Rajasthan custom, always a privilege to learn of other ways of lifestyle… I read Archana’s last comment yesterday and I have to wonder about these writers and now I read Jules comment and it’s even more astonishing. Oh how I wish WE all could have closed this serial together but all our friends have left and the feeling of sadness is felt. ….sigh??

      Hello Jules, just reading the name Raja Baja is enough to evoke memories of those days with him and Rani. It brought a tear to my eyes ,writers never understood that Raja Baja was close to all of us in this forum and that we love him endlessly….they had to destroy his lovely character, we loved him as royalty even though he didn’t have royal blood in him…. Raja Baja, I hope you are right…..

      I’m from the Caribbean…..its the first time I’m seeing comments from you, I don’t know if I’ve missed any before. It’s nice to have you here with us. We had a vibrant viewership here but with so many crazy twists and turns and the writers having destroyed our lovable Raja and Rani over and over again, many left us. It would have been so wonderful if we could at least have half of the commentators come back on, just to close this serial but as it stands, it’s only us here now… We don’t see the current updated episode because we in the Caribbean and in North America are one week behind in episodes… I don’t usually like to comment on the updates because I think some important details do get left out, so I prefer to see episode and then comment. This is very frustrating for us but what can we do?? Thanks for your acknowledgement……

    if he is not Raaj then why the title is Ek tha Raja Ek thi Rani??? what ever will be the end I watch this serial only for Chemistry of Eisha Sartaj & prey they become real life couple.I m gonna miss them too much after 4 july

    Well confirmed… Raj is dead.. This is Raj’s LOOK ALIKE Shera.. So again they are balancing equations.. If eisha played a double role sartaj must also play no?.. :).. But I still know one of the below will come true..
    1.Real Raj is alive.. May be doshi knows about it.. N RAJ being treated for his burns
    2.Raj fooling vasundhara n leading her on to believe that he is raj’s duplicate shera(similar to a Salman’s movie of the 90s named CHAND KA TUKDA)

    Naz , as you know Rani’s mother. Sunanda brings a marriage alliance for Rani’s cousin ,Preeti and the boy is Vikram who is the only son of Home minister Vasundhara ,a very head strong and stubborn person. When he comes to the palace with his mother to see Preeti,he ,a characterless fellow ,finds a soft target in Sakshi , and whenever possible ,misbehaves with her.Rani ,who is very shrewd,notices this on the first day itself and brings it to the notice of Raaj but by that time Preeti is already engaged to Vikram and the other marriage rituals kick off.Much before the marriage proposal ,Rani gets into an unpleasant encounter with Vasundhara and after seeing her son who is no less horrible than his mother,Rani tries to tell her mother. Bua and Preeti that Vikram is a pervert and his mother supports whatever he does ,but no one believes Raaj and Rani.Preeti is already in love with Vikram and to stop the marriage ,Raaj and Rani plan to expose Vikram on the marriage day itself.
    Accordingly ,Rani dresses like Sakshi and sits in Sakshi’s room ,they are sure that Vikram will definitely come into Sakshi’s room ,they arrange video cameras in that room and Raja wants to show the live footage on a tv screen to the family.And they convince Toshi to take the place of bridegroom till they execute the plan.But they fail to take care of minor details,as planned ,Vikram ,before going down the stairs to the marriage venue notices Sakshi ,all alone in her room and being a promiscuous brute ,comes there but from the doorway itself he realises that it is a trap because he sees Rani’s reflection in the mirror and silently steps out of the room,finds Sakshi in another room ,takes her to a store room and rapes her.Not Knowing this ,rani waits in the room and Raaj somewhere else.In the marriage no one including Vasundhara notices Vikram’s absence because Toshi is there and as per the custom ,his face is covered with a veil of flowers.Atlast Raaj and Rani realise that they are fooled by Vikram and start searching for Sakshi .By the time they find her ,the damage is done .In the meantime ,Preeti gets married to Toshi and after everything is over Vasundhara sees thatthe bride groom is not her son ,so cleverly she takes the newly weds to the Pooja room for prayers and when Preeti’s eyes are closed in prayer ,her men kidnap Toshi and Vikram ,who is already there .takes his place.Poor Preeti,she knows nothing of it.
    when Rani and Raaj finds an unconscious Sakshi ,they try convincing everyone that Vikram has molested a child like Sakshi but no one believes them as Toshi is already replaced
    by Vikram.So after a day or two Raaj and Rani smears some scent on Vikram’s shirt and while dressing ,he smells that and faints.They take him to a secluded room,tie him to a chair and drags him into a conversation,A stupid he is ,he proudly tells everything unaware of the camera there.Then Raaj and rani give him a chance to escape and Vikram reaches the palace when his mother was with a group of ladies who are social activist..When Vasunndhara starts boasting about her son’s noble qualities ,Raaj and Rani Plays the video taken in the room on the big Tv screen there.Seeing this ,all the women beat Vikram with their sandals.In the mele .Vikram snatcher a pistol from the guard and points at Rani.To save her. Raaj gets into a scuffle with Vikram and the bullet hits Vikram.He gets injured and after treatment ,the police arrests him and takes him to the jail.Vasundhara’s husband ,who is a gentleman ,leaves her telling her that she was responsible for Vikram becoming a sadist and she loses her face in the public.Having lost her position and family she comes to the palace seeking forgiveness and faints there and Rani ,being always generous ,convinces Raaj to keep her in their home till she becomes alright .poor Raaj ,he tells rani that Vasundhara should never be believed but Rani doesn’t listen and that is where she went wrong.The next day ,after the grihapravesam is over ,this witch strikes when Rani is already in their room waiting for her suhaagraat and Raaj ,about to go upstairs to their room ,gets a note supposedly written by Rani asking him to come to the store room.There he is trapped in anet by Vasundhara and she burns him alive.
    But I know ,friend ,that the person who comes back will be Raaj only pretending like a look alike or Sartaz will be seen in a double role both as Raaj and his look alike and we might see Raaj coming in the end to save his Rani from both Vasundhara and her chamcha.

    Dear Naz.i wanted to be short but I know you like all the details.Still I could n’t give some facts like Raaj saving his friend from Vasundhara’s men etc, ,Hope this will help you to understand Vasundhara’s motive behind killing Raaj ,otherwise also ,she is very mean,no human qualities anywhere.
