Saath Nibhana Saathiya- Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki Season 1 Part 4

Vishnath introduces his family. His eldest son with Yamini is Ram (Ram Kapoor) and his wife Priya (Sakshi Tanwar) and their three daughters Shruti (Sonia Balani), Marya (Vinti Idnani) and Pari (Pragati Chourasiya). His second son with Yamini is Krishna (Cezanne Khan) and his wife Prena (Shweta Tiwari) along with their son Rohit (Vikas Sethi), daughter Sneha (Shriya Sharma) and other daughter Kasak (Surveen Chawla). His third son is Sasha (Chetan Hansraj) and his wife Kumari (Urvashi Dholakia) and their son Rohan (Vatsal Sheth).
Prena and Priya come forward and greet Meera and Vidya. “ Wow, so Vidya is our bahu and Meera is our sister in law? That’s so cool.” Priya says.
“ Im so happy to meet you. Gosh it gets so boring.” Meera says.
“ Can you cook? I am starving.” Prena says. Yamini comes.
“ You have to cook as well Prena, you are my bahu remember? You are not a daughter of this house.” Yamini says.
“ But bahus should be the same as betis. You are not a beti yourself.” Priya says. Ram nudges Priya.
“ Priya be quiet, she will kill you.” Ram whispers.
“ So? I am not scared of her.” Priya whispers back.
“ What are you two talking about? Priya, I am warning you. If you act rude with me, Krishna Bagwan Ki Saukan, I will not be happy!” Yamini shouts and leaves.
“ Oh this bhudiya never stops barking.” Kumari says.
“ Kumari bhabi, she is your saas. Have some respect.” Krishna says.
“ I do respect her. Shes just so annoying. Why cant she just sleep for the whole day and not bother us. Baby, take my luggage to my room.” Kumari says to Sasha.
“ Ok my queen.” Sasha says. Meera, Priya and Prena go the kitchen. Vidya and Shravan meet the other grandchildren.
“ Hi, I am Vidya.” Vidya says to Shruti.
“ Hi! Yes I heard about you, youre so pretty.” Shruti says.
“ You too! What are you doing now?” Vidya says.
“ Oh nothing, I have just come back from USA from my studies. I did a MBA. I want to be a businesswoman.” Shruti says.
“ That’s great! Meera di is also into business. You can learn a few things from her.” Vidya says. Shravan talks to Rohit and Rohan.
“ So you are Shravan? You seem like a loser.” Rohan says.
“ Shut up Rohan, he is your cousin. Hi, I am Rohit.” Rohit says.
“ Hi, nice to meet you. Are you doing business as well?” Shravan asks. Rohan yawns.
“ How boring? All you do is talk about work? Don’t you party or have any fun?” Rohan says.
“ My papa expects great things from me and I cant let him down.” Shravan says.
“ Whatever.” Rohan says. Rohan leaves.
“ Don’t mind him. He is a loser.” Rohit says. “ Come let’s watch the cricket match.”
In another mansion, Pallavi (Aashka Goradia) is shown walking down the stairs to meet her dad (Anupam Shyam), who was reading a newspaper. His name was Thakur Rangewal.
“ Papa! You called for me?” Pallavi says. Thakur gets up and sees her.
“ Oh Pallavi betiya! I have great news for you! Do you know Vishnath Suviyanshi’s grandson Rohit, they have sent a proposal for you! They want to meet us today. We are going there today.” Thakur says.
“ Papa, Im so happy. Thank you!” Pallavi gets happy and hugs her father.
“ Jee tee ro beti. I am doing everything for your happiness.” Thakur says.
Prena has told Rohit about the proposal and he is worried. He sees Vidya. “ Bhabi?”
“ Rohit? Whats wrong? Why are you so scared?” Vidya asks.
“ I need to ask you about something Bhabi. I am not happy with this proposal.” Rohit says. Dramatic tune plays.
“ What? Why?” Vidya asks.
“ I love someone else. Her name is Avantika and her father will fire me if I leave his daughter. I really love her and I cant leave her.” Rohit says. Vidya is shocked.
“ We need to tell your parents quickly. Come with me.” Vidya says. Vidya drags Rohit to Prena’s room.
“ Vidya? Rohit? What happened?” Prena asks.
“ Kaki, Rohit needs to tell you something.” Vidya says.
“ Rohit, tell me then.” Prena says.
“ Maa, I love someone else and I cant marry Pallavi.” Rohit says. Prena stays calm and hugs him.
“ Beta, don’t worry. I am not going to force you. I will tell the family members. The Rangewals will be coming in the evening. We will inform them.” Prena says.
“ Thanks Maa.” Rohit says.
It is the evening and the Rangewals arrive. Pallavi arrives along with Thakur and her mother Alka (Alka Kaushal). The Rangewals sit down. Yamini speaks with them. “ We have a problem, Mr Rangewal.”
“ What problem Yamini Ji?” Thakur says.
“ Your daughter isn’t smiling enough!” Yamini laughs. The Suviyanshis are shocked. Prena is furious.
“ Sasumaa, can we talk in the kitchen?” Prena says.
“ Sure Prena bahu.” Yamini says. They both go in the kitchen.
“ What is maaji? You agreed to call this marriage off?” Prena says.
“ Do you really think I am going to listen to you? I don’t care if your son loves another girl. I only like Pallavi and theres nothing you can do to change it.” Yamini says. Yamini leaves the kitchen. Suddenly, a man (Rohan Mehra) arrives wearing nerdy glasses and formal clothes. Priya gets happy.
“ Laksh! You are here?” Priya says excitedly. She gets the veneration plate and blesses him. The rest of the family greets him. Yamini introduces Laksh to the Rangewals.
“ This is Priya’s son, Laksh.” Yamini says happily.
“ What has he studied up to?” Alka asks.
“ He dropped out of school during 10th standard. He never liked school.” Yamini says. The Rangewals start giggling. The Suviyanshi family feel embarrassed.
“ What a loser.” Pallavi whispers to her mom. Priya gets angry. Laksh cries and goes upstairs. Vidya goes after him.
“ I admit that people should be educated nowadays and should have degrees. I admit that my son has not done a MBA but this doesn’t mean he is worthless. He has my sanskaar and I proud of him.” Priya says.
“ And you are right Priya. It is good if a person has good sanskaar but what about money and power? What about respect?” Thakur says.
“ A person’s personality and heart is enough to win power. It is our dharam to care and love others. And my son is capable of being a good human being.” Priya says. Thakur stays quiet. Priya leaves to go upstairs.
Vidya enters Laksh’s room. Laksh is taking out his album and looking at his family photographs. Laksh sees Vidya enter and wipes his tears.
“ Hi, we haven’t met yet. I am Vidya, Shravan’s wife.” Vidya says.
“ Oh nice to meet you.” Laksh says.
“ Listen, don’t cry. Ignore what others say about you. I feel like you are good person and I understand how you feel.” Vidya says.
“ You don’t understand how I feel. I feel so worthless compared to the others. I am a gawar.” Laksh sobs.
“ Do you want to hear a story? It is about my mother Gopi. She grew up as an orphan and she wasn’t allowed to go to school. She used to cry because she was illiterate. But when she got married to my papa, she learnt to live a new life and she became a stronger person. Today, my mother is one of the most brave and powerful women ive ever known.” Vidya says.
“ Do you think a girl will ever like me?” Laksh says.
“ Of course, I am sure there is a girl out there that will love you for who you are.” Vidya says. Priya arrives.
“ Vidya is saying right. There is a girl out there for you. Don’t feel bad about yourself. You are handsome and good-hearted. You are my son after all.” Priya laughs. “ Thank you Vidya for bringing a smile to my son.”
“ No problem kaki ji. My mother always told me to bring happiness for dear ones.” Vidya says.
“ Have you invited your mother to the wedding?” Priya asks.
“ No, I should go and call her now.” Vidya says. Vidya goes to her room and calls Gopi in USA.
Gopi is shown wearing a pink kurta and black jeans. She sees Vidya ringing. “ Hello, Vidya, are you ok?”
“ Hi maa, yes I am fine. We have a big wedding. It is Prena’s son Rohit’s wedding. I wanted to invite you and Jaggi uncle.” Vidya says.
“ We would love to come but what happened 10 years ago, I cant forget. You know whatever happened with Bhavani and Seeta 10 years ago. Coming back to India would remind me of those memories.” Gopi says.
“ Maa, I understand but you should at least come. At least come and visit Seeta in jail. I visit her regularly but she misses you all.” Vidya says.
“ Ok me and Jaggi ji will come. Seeta’s daughter shall never know that her mother is in jail though.” Gopi says.
“ Jaisekrishna maa, I need to go.” Vidya says.
“ Jaisekrishna.” Gopi says and she puts the phone down.

Precap- Vidya comes out of Rohit’s room saying he is not there. Pallavi cries at the mandap of who will marry her now. Vidya is confused.
