CHAPTER 5

Three months have passed down the lane and nothing changed except for the fact that i had my salary increased the last month, i, priyanka and rudra hang a more out, i frequently visit the Oberoi mansion, i no more call shivay as sir but i use his name, gauri is in a relationship with a guy and whom i don’t even know and don’t care to know, rudra still calls me ‘BHADI’. And the most important of all my feelings towards shivay are clear cut and have upgraded themselves into a 100 times better version.
Today basically i was sitting in my cabin doing nothing but was just pretending to some important work and shivay messaged me…It read:
“Come to the coffee shop in the next corner at 5 pm sharp…”
WHAT…..???? Was he asking me out for a date… My heart said…
“He is not your GALLI KA PAPUU…” My mind retorted. It was half past four… (4:30 PM) and i still had half an hour to go and it would take hardly 5 minutes to reach there in my car…..YES I OWN A CAR…
It was shivay who broke the ice first…he came the next day when i went to the mansion and had helped me in Dadi’s treatment and said that we were family… in sense he meant FAMILY FRIENDS and had even insisted that i call him Shivay and not sir and thus began my life…my real colourful life…I was so deprived of happiness and Shivay had given it to me. He kept it in my hand and considered me as his family and unknowingly the respect i had for him grew up to heights. He is a good son, an amazing brother and a warming friend. I’m so lucky to have him in my life. My life was just me and dadi with no aim. I was pointless and today i cherish my life.
I again glanced at the clock and it was almost 5. So i rushed up to meet him thinking about all the deals and the calculations.
I reached there and saw shivay who instantly saw me and passed out a smile. I reached over the table and asked him
“Made you wait uh…?”
“Not at all…I was with Om here and he went to the gallery…So i called you up.”
“Anything important to discuss…? Any deals? Everyone at home is okay right? Why you and om were here?” i kept questioning him.
“UH….Slow down anika…Itni jaldi kyu…cafe tho 8 baaje tak rahega…Hum aaram se baat kar sakte hai.”
“Nahi…Bas ese hi…”i smiled sheepishly
I know I’m so nagging but i just can’t help it.
We remained silent spoke nothing particular other than deals and office work. We came out of the cafe after an half an hour and as i was going to my car Shivay called me out and said something which was the unexpected at that moment
“Anika…You know you look really beautiful today…I mean everyday…What do you say…KHIDIKITOD KHUBSURAT”
I blushed at his words….
“I wanted to say in the morning but… i just couldn’t”
“That’s ok Shivay…even you look handsome and beautiful…INSIDE OUT…” i replied what my heart told.
“You too…inside out” he replied me and took his car away. He waved a bye to me and went off.
I was jumping out of happiness and i visualised myself dancing on roads. As i reached my home he called me again and asked me for a outing and guess what i instantly said and yes…!
