“See guys, you have no other option.
And im not asking you to have a living together relationship.. which by the way is something shivaay is not good at. You just have to live in the same house separately” Vicky said shrugging his shoulder.

“Fhat the wuck?? How do you expect me to live with this.. this thing?? She was about to throw a Pan at me.” Shivaay said pointing his hand at Anika.

“And how do you expect me to live with this besharam … he was standing with only his boxers. Chiii” Anika says faking a puke.

While Vicky throws a naughty smile at Shivaay. Shivaay notices this and taps Vicky’s head.

“I came her just a week ago. And it is me who cleaned this dusty house. I was tired and alone. Do you expect a man with drooping eyelids to roam around in blazers all the time ? Or dont i have a rights to be in my boxers at home” shivaay justified his position.

“So we are fine now ? So who is taking which room??” Vicky says as if the commotion has ended.

“What?!?!.. oooooo hello?? The thing still isn’t cleared. Im not staying with her.” Shivaay opens his mouth in disbelief.

“I have a lot of cases to deal with buddy. Living together is the only way for you guys” Vicky says winking at Shivaay.

Just when Anika gets a call from her mother. Anika wide opens her mouth.

“SHHHH SHHH SHH” Anika signals them to shut their mouths and jumps up on the couch in shock.

“Haaa maa. Ive reached. Yes yes it is comfortable and good. Hmm.. hmm.. hmm.. i havent spoke to the neighbours yet… ill let you know soon.   Bachelors???..(she looks at shivaay) ji nahi maa… no bachelors, no such idiots..

Shivaay gets annoyed and opens his mouth to say something..but Anika quickly closes his mouth with her hand encircling his neck

“Fine.. I’ve posted the picture in instagram. Ask Gauri to show it. And keep my stuffs away from that couch potato till i return. If she scribbles on my Shreya Ghoshal collection again, im gonna tear her hrithik roshan posters… Tk tk.. ill call you later. Bubbye.”

And when she cuts the call, she removes her hand from shivaay’s mouth which for a while he was trying to pull out.

“See now i have another reason to not let her stay. She just tried to suffocate me by closing my mouth. Domestic violence it is. Vicky arrest her” Shivaay whines like a child.

Vicky ruffles shivaay’s hair and mutturs “cute”.

While Anika looks at both of them with a weird look. Vicky notices this and wides his eyes. “Just a clarification. We both are straight. Dont get any other ideas” he says showing her a thumbs up.

Anika rolls her eyes and walks to one of the rooms with her luggage. While Vicky bids them goodbye.

“Hey that room is mine” shivaay shouts. Anika gives him a irritated look and moved to another room.

Both leave for their job turning their faces away. Anika works as an assistant for an event manager and shivaay has his own start-up company.

As his company is just a start-up, he manages to employ 5 trainees. Since all were just beginner he had to toil hard to extract work from them. After a hectic day he returns back and opens his door to witness the most ‘horrible sight’ which he claims it to be.

Anika was in her army trousers and hello kitty crop top eating a bowl full of popcorn watching Game of thrones in Hotstar.

Well this wasnt it. The horrible thing was actually that his sofa was moved a 45 degrees.

So this is the thing the author forgot to tell. Shivaay has OCD (Obsessive-compulsive disorder). He wont tolerate if his things are moved a bit or misplaced.

“He quickly moves his sofa in a jerk making anika tremble and trip.

But shivaay was quick enough to grab her before she hit the ground. One hand around her hip and the other on the back of her head.

Her eyes were closed so tightly and her clutch on his collar was so strong.
When she opened her eyes, her eyes met with the most mysterious blue-green orbs. While he was staring at her hazel orbs.

It was as if they both forgot blinking, sharing an eyelock unconsciously. Suddenly Anika gives a jerk and placing her leg firmly on ground, she stood up adjusting her dress.

Now reality striking her mind, “pagal hai kya? Why did you pull the sofa?? You are trying to kill me before i leave uh??” She kept on ranting when she was cut by Shivaay in middle.

He grabbed her wrist and twisted it behind her.
“THIS IS MY HOUSE. MY SOFA. DONT YOU DARE RAISE YOUR VOICE ON ME. THIS SOFA.. IT SHOULD BE LIKE THIS.. THIS PEN-STAND IT SHOULD BE KEPT HERE ONLY. NOTHING IS MOVING AN INCH AWAY. MIND IT.” He says pouring all his work tension on her which ultimately was a result as a bruise in her wrist. While she winced in pain.

He left the hissing Anika behind and went to his room slaming the door so hard.

Anika wiped her tear that rolled down without her concern. And went to her room holding her wrist.
She kept thinking about Gauri and their time together. Smiled at times.
Eventually dozed off ending the day with a sad face.

It was midnight. Shivaay gets up and ruffles his hair and looks at the time.
2:15 it shows.

He suddenly remembers Anika hissing in pain. He felt a distraction in him.

“Whatever be it, i shouldn’t have behaved so rudely” he thinks to himself.

He gets up and walks to her room.
Slowly opening the door with a creaky noise he peeps in.
There she was, on the bed, crouching and with a pillow between her legs she was snoring.

The moonlight that was entering through the windows was making her shine in the darkness. Her hair strands perfectly swayed as the breeze flew past her.

But she had kept her wrist that was hurt, a bit away from things and kept in facing the roof.

“Mad woman. Looks so terrifying daytime, and here she is sleeping so innocently at night. I really guess she must have escaped here to Bangalore after killing many people” he rants under his breath and takes a glance at her again.

Shivaay rolls his eyes and bends down slowly and applies ointment on her bruise.

“I can’t believe im doing this. See, what situation you are pushing me to. If only you hadnt entered my house, i wont be here rubbing this on your wrist” he mutters and after applying he was about to go.

“Thankyouu Gauri” Anika says smiling and turns around. While Shivaay smirks and leaves out.
