Part 13

Scene – 26 { @ Sharma Nivas, gauri’s room}

Omkara brings coffee for gauri…….He handovers cup 2 her and stares her…..

Gauri : Thankoooo……

Omkara : U don’t need 2 mention this “thanks “always, gauri…….

Gauri : Why ???

Omkara : Because we are part of a family and whatever I did now is nothing, just the way a family member shows care 2 the other one …….Tell me one thing, ur maa may have made prepared ur favorite dish and must have feed u in ur childhood……Am I right ??

Gauri : Omkaraji….not only in childhood, she use 2 make my favorite khichdi, dhoklas and moti churan ke laddoos per year……U know what @ my birthdays , she use 2 feed me kheer form her hands and trust me I always believe that my mom’s hands are having magic, she is able 2 make any kind of dish…..

Omkara : Have u ever thanked ur maa ???

Gauri : No……I never thanked her because she is my mother and a whatever she has done for me , it shows her love 2wards me…….And what I do is I simply hug my maa and always tells her that she is world’s best maa…….

Omkara : [smiles] Have it, soon…….[gauri nods her head and sips coffee]

Gauri : It’s Nice……..

Omkara : Thanks……

Gauri : Why, we are part of a family , then why are u thanking me , omkaraji ????

Omkara : Gauri, let me make it clear…….U actually give a compliment for me and it’s my duty 2 thank u…..Abt coffee, it was not my duty, but it was my…….my……..

Gauri : Care……

Omkara : Not exactly,…..it’s something beyond of care….I mean u and me , we have become close 2 each other and it’s my……affection 2 u………

Gauri : Omkaraji……U are joking , right ???

Omkara : It’s not a joke, gauri…….[om holds gauri’s hands] U know what when I missed u , I felt everything as dark before me…….I was not able 2 find where should I go and how should I find u…….I was confused and I felt like my heart beat will stop forever…….

Gauri : Omkaraji……No…….[ gauri placed her hand on om’s mouth and stares him with wet eyes]

Omkara : [om gets emotional and he slowly removed gauri;s hand] My heart just told me one thing and that made me 2 run from my way, gauri ……..

Gauri : What was that ,omkaraji ??

Omkara : My heart told me that I have 2 meet u, it told me that I have 2 fight with this entire world 2 gain u back….., in this battle, omkara, u may lose urself, but don’t lose gauri………U have 2 find her………And ur trust in me made us 2 unite us…….

Gauri : U didn’t felt fear, omkaraji??

Omkara smiles and replies….” DAR THAA KAHIN RAAH MEIN PAIR NAA LADKHADAYE…..

DAR THAA KAHIN KHAMOSHI TUMHARE BIN MUJHE ANDHERE MEIN NIGAL NAA LE…..

DAR THAA KAHIN MERE ZAKHMON KE NISHAN TUMHARI AANCHAL MEIN NAA AAYE……
DAR THAAM KAHIN KAMBAKHQT DIL KO HI KHO LUN JO BAS TUMHARI KHOJ MEIN HEIN…..”

[Om completes the shayri and stares gauri with wet eyes…….Before telling anything, gauri started crying literally and as soon as om touched her shoulder, she quickly hugged omkara tightly without any second thought…….]

Omkara : Gauri!!!

Gauri : [interrupts] Omkaraji…….Enough, now no more risks for this mad chirayyaa……. I can’t see u in pain……..

Omkara : And if I tell, I would like 2 take risk for u, then what would u do ???

Gauri : Omkaraji……..[gauri released herself from hug] I won’t allow u 2 do this………

Omkara : U don’t know abt life’s battle , gauri…….If life gives then life takes also…..

Gauri : May be, I don’t understand ur big philosophies, sankarji never makes gud people 2 fell down…..And whatever be the battle, we will face it together, omkaraji……Remember u have promised me that u will never leave my hand, is it ?????

Omkara : Haa…….I will keep this promise if u will stand with me always……

Gauri : I trust u, I respect u and I am lucky 2 have this jatadhari as my husband…….When u filled sindoor in my maang, I realized that sankarji has send u for me…….If I will leave u, then that sankarji will never forgive me……..I will stand with u forever………

Gaurikara gets emotional and hugged each other passionately…….Bgm….” Zindagi bewaafa hai yeh maana magar
Chod kar raah mein jaoge tum agar
Cheen launga main aasman se tumhe
Soona hoga na yeh, do dilon ka nagar

After a while they released themselves from hug and stared each other’s eyes in a glance…. Om gently wiped out gauri’s tears and smiles, which made gauri also 2 smile…….
Gauri : Omkaraji…….I want 2…….want 2…..
Omkara : Yeah, gauri…tell me……
Gauri : Eat gol gappas….
Omkara : Fine, I will bring it for u within an hour……
Gauri : Omkaraji…….U should eat 2 almonds per day………
Omkara : Excuse me, what do u mean ??
Gauri : I mean what I said, u are forgetting ur promise……
Omkara : I do remember my promise very well, gauri…..
Gauri : Really, then how can u leave my hand?? Wherever u go, I will be there……I mean our hands……
Omkara : [smiles] Done, gauri ……Shall we move ??
Gauri : One minute……Now gauri kumari Sharma needs her dabang glasses…..
Omkara : U mean goggles and candy ??? I will buy them for u on the way……Okay ??? Shall we leave?? [om stares her sharply]
Gauri : Haa……
Gauri slowly placed her feet forward staring omkara’s shining eyes without noticing anything……Her leg collides with the edge of table and she screamed in pain……
Omkara : Gauri!!! [om rushed near her and bend @ his own knees and keeps gauri’s legs on his lap…He applied pain spray quickly and stared her] Be careful…….U would have got hurt……
Gauri : Omkaraji, When u are with me 2 take my care, then I don’t need 2 care myself and nothing can hurt me also…….
Gaurikara stare each other’s eyes again for a moment…….
Omkara : Whatever it be, just take care of urself…….Let’s go…..[om and gauri stood back in their positions and om hold gauri’s one hand in his hand and placed her other hand on his shoulder, they share an eyelock…..]
BGM…….”Baadalon mein gul naa jaaye, hein joh lamhe tehare-tehare
Do dilon mein jazb kar de, saare jazbein gahre-gahre
Kal kyaa pataa, mile naa mile nazdeekiyan ,oh saathiya…..” plays……

Scene – 27 { @ Oberoi Guest House}
Swethlana : Listen carefully , I want a quick action, not like the drama which happened earlier……Do u get it ??
Goons : Yes mam, what abt the money ???
Swethlana : First go and start ur hunt, I want omkara and gauri dead or alive within 2 days….. If u will do this, then this will be yours…..[swethlana opens a brief case before goons and all get surprised 2 see bundle of currency notes in them] Now just leave…..[ goons left the spot fast]
Tej : What are u doing, swethlana ???
Swethlana : Tej, I am doing it for our sake, my dream 2 become the princess of oberoi empire…..[swethlana passes her fingers on tej’s chest]
Tej : We may differences, but omkara is an oberoi…. Regarding gauri, kill her, kidnap her…..I don’t mind , but omkara…he is my blood…. He is my elder son…….He may be a looser, but I need him …..
Swethlana : But tej…..He is the biggest enemy of u……
Tej : U are right, but unfortunately am his so called father…….No more discussions on it…… I need a peg…… Excuse me……[tej released swethlana’s fingers from his chest and walks away]
Swethlana stares tej with crooked eyes and folds her palm in anger…..
