Swabhimaan: The Proposal~ A Nairan OS

Hi Guys! This is my first os! I love Nairan and that’s why I planned to write an os in Nairan. Please do support me.

Naina entered the restaurant looking around cautiously. Karan had invited her to The Tasting Room. He hadn’t given her any explanation or any hint as to why he had called her here. The restaurant was deserted. Other than the person who had held open the door for her and informed her about Karan coming in another fifteen minutes there wasn’t a single person in sight. That was strange! And then the restaurant was decorated so romantically that Naina was confused. It had been just 6 months to her wedding to Karan. Oh! That was why he called her here. Naina couldn’t believe she had forgotten the date. It was their 6 month anniversary!

Naina looked around. The restaurant had been decorated very romantically with red heart-shaped balloons. She sat down on a couch nearby and got lost in her thoughts. She had been married to Karan for 6 months! Those 6 months had changed her life forever! She had gotten married to Karan unwillingly but now she felt that was the best decision she had ever taken in her life. At first, Karan had been rude and insensitive. He spoke to her harshly and didn’t believe in their marriage. But then, things slowly started falling into place and Karan became her knight in shining armour! Someone she would admire and respect for life.

Karan was someone very unique! He had many shades to him. But however much he tried to prove to the world that he was a rude and harsh person, Naina knew the soft-hearted and emotional person in him. She had seen him teach the poor children music and had seen the extent to which the children loved and respected Karan. She knew the extent to which Karan would go for someone’s happiness. She had found a very good friend in him and hoped to be friends with him the rest of her life if not husband and wife.

A voice from behind startled her, “I’m so sorry for being late!”

Naina immediately recognized the voice to be Karan’s and turned to look at him. He was wearing a tuxedo and was holding a present in his hands. She immediately got up and walked to him.

Naina: Hi!

Karan: Hi! This is for you!

He handed over the present to her and said, “Happy 6 month Anniversary!”

Naina smiled.

Naina: Happy 6 month Anniversary!

Karan: Shall we have dinner?

Naina nodded.

Karan lead her to a table and once they were seated a waiter came up.

Karan ordered Naina’s favourite food and they had their dinner.

After dinner, Karan excused himself and went out of the restaurant. He soon came back with a guitar. Suddenly, the lights went off and the spotlight fell on Naina and Karan. Karan started singing and Naina was lost in Karan and his voice.

Karan kept his guitar aside, picked up a rose and went to Naina. He got down on one knee.

Karan: Naina, I’ve been thinking of saying this to you since many days par kabhi himmat nahi hui Before you came into my life, I was living but without a purpose

Tum meri zindagi mein aayi aur mere zindagi ki mayne hi badal gaye

Tumhare aane ke baad meri zindagi mein khushiyaan hi khushiyaan bhar gayi

Tum meri muskurane ki wajah ban gaye

Jo Karan kabhi muskurata nahi tha bo dil kholkar hansne laga

Tum ban gayi meri muskurane ki wajah, mere jeene ki wajah

I love you Naina!

You’re one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen

Bahar se hi nahi, andar se bhi

I love you very much Naina!

Naina was in tears. In that one minute she realized how much she loved Karan!

Naina: I love you too Karan

Karan was one of the most happiest people on Earth at that time. He lifted Naina and spun her in the air.

Naina: I love you

Karan: I love you too!

Naina had found her knight in shining armour and Karan had found love in his best friend!
