Ranbeer assumes that Ragini is Kiara’s mom and then leads them inside…While Vikram gets teary eyed seeing his sister, he is shocked to see Prachi’s mother and looks down in guilt as he has wronged both the ladies…Ragini gets a little emotional but then decides to control while everyone else is shocked to see her behaviour… Ragini walks towards Vikram and puts her hand forward to shake it and they moment he connects a sense of warmth fills both the siblings up…Pallavi, Ranbeer and Kiara are confused and Pragya tells Kiara in her ears that this is Ragini’s family…Ragini introduces herself to Pallavi as Ragini and then instantly everyone knows who she is and the atmosphere of the room completely changes…
Kiara then breaks the silence by saying, ‘Waise how do guys know Prachi?’…Everyone looks very shocked and says that she used to work in their office and was Ranbeer’s friend…Kiara thinks of something and then says ‘Mumma ki itni badi company thi then what was the need of doing a job in such a small company’…’Kiara’ says Pragya glaring at how outspoken her daughter was while everyone else in the room could only notice her resemblance with Rhea…’Ranbeer then asks Kiara whether she and Prachi are real sisters and Kiara nods’…Pallavi, Vikram and Dida wonder how two children of the same mother can be so different. Something spills on her and she gets up to clean it
A girl walks down the steps and runs towards the table as she realizes that Prachi’s mother is there too…she walks towards the table without anyone realizing and covers Pragya’s eyes with her hands…Pragya instantly realizes that’s its Rhea…Just as she she about to remove Rhea’s hands, she hears a scream ‘Leave my mother’…Rhea removes her hands with a jerk and is very shocked at Kiara’s reaction…’Your mother? She is not your mother! She is Prachi’s mother’….’Prachi is my sister’, yells Kiara…Rhea looks shocked and taken aback, however she quickly gains her courage and says sarcastically, ‘Wow aunty, it’s so ironic that I love you so much but hate both your daughters to the core’…’Likewise’ says Kiara….’Do you know Aunty, Because of her my dad cannot remarry anymore!’…Anyways Aunty can you please come in the room I have to show you something…
Kiara stops Rhea and tells her ‘let my mother at least finish her food’…Rhea nods and then joins them at the dining table…They all eat away in awkward silence not knowing what to say…Luckily for everyone the lunch is over very quickly and everyone gets up from the table…Just when Neil is getting up, he sees something that scares him….Agham and Suhani are seeing down towards Ragini, while Ranbir Khanna is walking behind them furiously as the managed to escape…They both run towards her and hug her…she feels a sense of warmth, but doesn’t hug them back as she has already distanced herself from this part of the family and doesn’t want to show them any of her emotions….
The bell rings and Sarla walks in, however she goes towards the waiting room and not towards the dining room where everyone else is…Suhani meanwhile calls Ragini, ‘Mumma’ and Ragini immediately feels a rush of anger and pushes her behind…Suhani falls behind and lands in Ranbir’s arms, while the family looks at her angrily…Ragini then says, ‘I am not your mother, so please’…Neil grows very angry at this remark, but Kiara senses this and stops him before can go towards Ragini…Kiara starts walking towards the living room
Pragya too and has reached the waiting room and can see Sarla’s back…feeling weird, Pragya goes and taps on the ladies shoulders…Sarla turns around and is shocked to see her eldest daughter infront of her…Kiara has reached the waiting room and is shocked to witness the scene but refrains from going inside…Whereas Ragini has gone to the washroom and the rest of the family is trying to console a heartbroken Suhani…Pragya’s eyes begin to water and she moves towards her mother calling her ‘Maa’…Sarla wants to hug her daughter but realizes how everyone else had to suffer in her absence…and says that you lost this right when you decided to abandon all of us and run away leaving everyone behind…You don’t deserve to call me that you selfish lady…She holds out her hand and stops Pragya from hugging her…Pragya says ‘Par Maa’…and moves towards her…That’s when Sarla gets furious and takes out her hand to slap her daughter…Midair, her hands stops as she hears a scream
‘Don’t you dare’ Screams Kiara and this voice echoes in the entire house…Even Ragini comes out rushing towards the family and wonders what made her niece scream so loudly…The Khanna’s and Kohlis, along with Ragini rush towards the waiting room…
Kiara walks towards Sarla and twists her arm down…Pragya teary eyed says ‘Kiara’, but it comes out as a mere whisper…Meanwhile Sarla is still slightly confused between the relation between the two…’Don’t even think of touching my mother’…Sarla’s mouth opens and shuts as she wants to say something but doesn’t as she realizes that her granddaughter is still alive….The rest of the family has arrived but stands at the entrance not wanting to disturb this angry confrontation…Rhea however is furious, runs inside and warns Kiara…’You cannot talk to her like that do you understand’…Pragya is shocked to see Rhea’s concern for Sarla but still fails to understand their relation…’And she cannot talk to my mother like that, Do you understand Rhea? Stay away and don’t interfere in matters that don’t involve you…We don’t want Daddy’s princess to be crying right…SO BACK OFF’ Kiara yells…Rhea steps a few steps behind…while everyone else is still seen standing with their mouths open…

I completely understand that you love your son in law and his family but what about my mom? When she finally did something for herself after so many years…Why are you acting so rude and taunting her huh? Let me start from the beginning, this whole story started because of Bulbul and Purab and that’s why my mother was forced to get married with that man…He didn’t even respect her and spent the night with Tanu, was that fair to my mother? Moving on, Remember that accident where Bulbul got injured? That was meant for my mother and both you and I know that it was planned by Alia? Alia hates my mother and at the end of the day, One of your daughter would have died anyways’ Next, remember when this entire so called Mehra family accepted Nikhils child and Tanu? and sidelined my mother and treated her like trash? Most of the things that happened in this family happened because of Tanu and Alia’s friendship with her! But who was blamed everytime? My mother right? Then that Man said that Mumma killed his Dadi…She went away…Then when she came back, he had already married Tanu na? Then he wanted proof that I was his child. Do you remember all this or no? Okay then remember how Tarun Chachus and Neha Di’s marriage was also blamed on Mumma. Wait before you say anything I have two more things to say. Do you remember what happened 20 years ago? Do you remember that I was kidnapped and I fell into that river? That man blamed my mother again and that’s why she had to leave for herself. Because everyone in that house hated her, she would rather live alone then bear their taunts the entire day. Now coming to the last thing, I’m sure you hate her for leaving Rhea, but Rhea had everyone…Her father, her aunt, her Nani! But who did my mother have huh? Who did Prachi have? At least my mother is happy now…With her family and her business so don’t you dare do anything that takes away the smile from her face. And by the way, she is still single and lives for her kids, Unlike that Man, who was just about to get engaged to someone when I stopped their engagement.’ She breathes and before anyone can say anything starts again ‘So please Ma’am stay away from me and my mother, and then she points at Rhea and says you too and then finally points at the Kohlis and Khannas and then says you stay away from my Masi got it?…’Thanks for lunch! We are leaving’ She storms out, takes Ragini’s hand in one hand and Pragyas in the other and walks out of the house before anyone can say anything
