From 4th September 2020’s episode:
Prachi is proved innocent after Ranbir and Abhi manage to prove that Sanju is the real culprit…Aliya is aware that Pragya is Prachi’s mother…Pragya has warned Prachi to not return to their office…Pragya is not present at the scene as she had to go to Hoshiarpur for some urgent work as Shahana’s grandma is unwell…Prachi has realised that she is in love with Ranbir…
The guard informs Prachi that she has been proved innocent by Mr Mehra and Ranbir…She is overjoyed but she then remembers her fight with Ranbir and her mother’s words to never talk to the Kohli’s or Mehra’s again…Even though she is really thankful to them, she is aware of Pallavi’s and Aliya’s dislike for her and thus as soon as she sees them she takes a turn and goes straight to the police desk…Everyone else present is shocked at her hostile treatment but deep inside they know they deserve it…Abhi starts walking towards her but Rhea screams and all their attention focusses to her…Sensing a perfect opportunity to leave unnoticed Prachi quietly slips out of the jailroom and sits into her auto…Rhea sees this and lets out a huge sigh of relief…Glad that Rhea is okay, Ranbir and Abhi look towards where Prachi was but are shocked at her disappearance…The police informs Abhi about the phone and how in some days they will be able to identify the lady’s voice, he also adds that ma’am has left and she doesn’t want anything to do with all of y’all…Everyone stares at Pallavi and Aliya, while Rhea lets out a cunning smile…
Meanwhile…Prachi receives a message from Pragya that Shahana’s grandma has passed away and hence she will take a few days to return…Pragya also tells her that Shanana won’t be coming back of Delhi and that she will be going to live with her mom’s NRI brother, since both of Shananas parents passed away when she was younger…Prachi is broken at the thought of being seperated from her name sake sister and tears begin flowing from her eyes…Pragya also informs Prachi that they will no longer be living with Sarita Aunty as her landlord has thrown her out…Pragya tells Prachi to take all her stuff and any of Pragya’s stuff from the house and look for another house in the Old Delhi area…Pragya temporarily asks her to look for an accomodation only for herself as she would take around one month to return…Pragya trusts Prachi to look after herself and asks her to stay away from the Mehras and the Kohli’s…She also shares some bank details, incase her daughter needs any money…
Prachi asks the auto driver if he knows any good accomodation near this area, and to her surprise he does and gives her a number of a certain lady…He then helps her by taking her to her old house and taking all of her belongings…They then arrive at a colony and he points towards the house…Prachi steps out and sees the name plate: SARLA ARORA
Prachi sees the name plate…A huge name plate hangs there – Sarla Arora…Prachi smiles to herself realising that she and an unknown lady share the same surname…She thinks to herself…’Mumma says that in Punjabis we are all family, so I hope these people allow me to live here’…However her smile soon turns into frown when she realises that the Mehras and Kohli’s were also Punjabis but Aliya and Pallavi treated her so badly…She promises herself that she will never ever forgive those two ladies no matter how big her heart is…She wipes her tears and rings the door bell…
Meanwhile…at the police station…all members of the Mehra and Kohli family look at Pallavi and Aliya with hate while Rhea smirks…Aliya however doesn’t care what people think of her and is only worried about the evidence…Aliya decides it will be best to send Rhea away and pulls her to a side…Aliya tells Rhea that she should go away for some days…Both of them try to think of where Rhea can go when Rhea immediately starts smiling…Aliya looks at her questionably and asks her what’s up…Rhea very softly asks Aliya if she can go to Old Delhi…She hopefully waits for Aliya’s reply knowing how much Aliya hates that area and its residents. Aliya realises that at the end of the day they are Rhea’s family and Rhea feels safe with them so she nods…Both of them are broken out of their thoughts when they hear someone yell…
Prachi is waiting for the door to open after she has rung the bell…A very beautiful lady opens the door…She is seen wearing a salwar kameez and has sindoor in her forehead…She smiles at Prachi and nods at her, questioning her presence…Prachi smiles back and barely utters the words, ‘Im looking for accomodation’…The lady nods and asks her to come inside…Prachi thanks her and tells the lady her name, Prachi Arora…the lady smiles and says I’m Preeta Arora Luthra and this is my maayka. She takes Prachi to the dining table and she introduces the rest of her family to her…This is my husband, Karan, my sister, Srishti and her husband Sameer. She then points to a lady who is in the kitchen making some puris and says that’s my mother Sarla…
When Sarla turns around, she smiles at Prachi too! Srishti jokingly says how her mother has found a replacement for her and Preeta…Just then a nanny brings out a sleepy three year old and hands him over to Preeta. Prachi smiles adorably at the cute baby and asks Preeta if that’s her son…Karan nods and says that he’s dad’s tiger…Everyone laugh at Karan’s childishness while Prachi enjoys the families banter! While the Luthra family begins leaving and saying their goodbyes, Sarla and Prachi discuss the accommodation..Sarla clearly mentions to her that there shouldn’t be any boys ka locha…Prachi chuckles and insists that there is none…Prachi hands over her some cash to Sarla and promises that she will pay the rest of the sum tomo…Sarla nods and Prachi finally feels relieved…
Rhea and Aliya are disturbed by someone yelling…They turn around and see Ranbir yelling at Pallavi…They gasp as they hear him say ‘I love Prachi…goddammit mom why don’t you understand…and you know what you did…you made sure we will never be together…Aliya looks around and sees that the Kohli family is smiling but Abhi looks confused…as Aliya turns to face Rhea she sees Rhea storming out with tears in her eyes…
Meanwhile…Prachi and Sarla begin talking to each other and Sarla is reminded of Pragya, her daughter who she now hates…She has tears and begins telling herself that I hate her because she left my Riu alone…Riu is who she is today because of Pragya…if Pragya would’ve have been there, Riu would not be so insecure…She is broken out of her thoughts as Prachi asks her what’s wrong…Sarla says nothing and takes her hand and puts in on Prachis face lovingly…Just then the door bell rings loudly and they both look that the time and wonder who would have come so late…Sarla opens the door and recognises a familiar face while Prachi glances at the man who stood there in a white uniform…Prachi wonders where she knows him from but her thoughts are disturbed when Sarla asks her to go to bed now…Prachi senses Sarla’s worry and leaves immediately…Sarla then faces the door again where she sees the Mehra family driver- in particular Rhea’s driver…The driver looks sad and points towards the car…Sarla goes towards the car and sees Rhea sobbing into her knees…
Meanwhile at Hoshiarpur, Pragya is seen performing the last rites besides a weeping Shanana and her family…Once the last rites are done, Pragya is seen packing her stuff and sending Shanana away…Pragya reminds herself that this is the last time she will be here and feels lost due to the loss of a mother like figure…Pragya’s heart yearns for Sarla but is unsure as to how Sarla feels about her now…
