SCENE 1: Riddhima was getting ready in the evening for mehendi function…she wearing a quirky pink lehenga..which vansh sent over as a gift and wanted her to wear it for today’s function…
her phone pinged..and she saw at the flashing screen, which brought a warm smile on her face, it was a message from vansh, he sent his photo to her just like she did on their sangeet ceremony day, he was wearing almost the same pattern as her lehenga but with bright yellow

Riddhima: Who are you and what have you done to my broody and shrewd business man fiancé?
Vansh: Well, i couldn’t bear that idiot standing next to such beauty, so i took his place, hope you wouldn’t mind? And trust me i am more handsome than he ever was!
Riddhima: Have you met my fiancé ? He is the most handsome guy i have ever seen! Don’t you dare compare him to yourself…
Vansh: Well i was hoping more than handsome, i would say handsome would rather be an understatement, don’t you think..
Riddhima: AREN’T YOU THE ONE FULL OF YOURSELF?? *she said mockingly*
Vansh: I am, and you know what else i am also full of?

SCENE 2: Vansh was in his room, when he heard riddhima’s voice outside, he was about to go out when suddenly the door was blocked by siya and ishani…
Siya: *coughs* Where are you going bhai??
Vansh: Um, outside? For the function?
Ishani: You don’t know? So sad bhai!
Vansh: You don’t know what??
Kabir: I will help you with that question…according to riddhima’s tradition you are not supposed to see her during mehendi, so you are not going to see her, otherwise bad luck..a lot of bad luck…so you better get back inside the room, unless you are willing to take the risk of BAD LUCK!
Vansh: UGH!! FINE!!!
Riddhima was searching for vansh, when siya came infront of her..
Siya; Babhi, searching for someone?
Riddhima: No, who could i possibly search for?
Siya: Oh my bad, i thought you were looking for vansh bhai..i came here to tell you where he was, but never mind…
She was about to leave but riddhima stopped her..
Riddhima: Fine you caught me! Now tell me where is your brother?
Siya: He is busy attending few calls said they were damn important! And he said he will try coming down stairs, but it might take some time, and he even told not to disturb..anyway, i have to go its my turn for mehendi..yayy!
Riddhima: Yaay! *siya leaves*
Riddhima’s pov: All that handsomeness and looks just to hide away? Vansh! Should i message him? No, siya told that the calls were important, but vansh would not kill me if if i message him right? Definitely not! I should totally message him..

Riddhima: Hey! Done with your call?
Vansh: What call?
Riddhima: Um…siya said that you were busy with some business calls and not to disturb you? Did i disturb you? If i did, i am sorry?!
Vansh: Sweetheart, i have no idea of what you are talking and why didn’t you tell me about this stupid ritual? I got ready for nothing?!
Riddhima: Ritual? What ritual?
Vansh: That i am not supposed to see you during mehendi?
Riddhima: Vansh? There is no such ritual!
Vansh: What the actual hell?
Riddhima: OMG! I get it now! You have been played by siya and ishani, they tried to keep you away from me!!
Vansh: …….. *doesn’t text back*
Riddhima’s pov: Why is he not texting back..
Vansh: Because i thought enough of texting, now maybe a little face to face would be lovely, don’t you think?
Riddhima turns around to find vansh
Riddhima: Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes mister!
Vansh: Likewise…now where are those little!
Riddhima: Vansh…they were having fun let them..
Vansh: Fun? I..*he takes a look at her beauty and stops mid sentence* you look um..you..look gorgeous?!
Riddhima: It sounded more like a question rather than a statement..
Vansh: Um, sorry, i couldn’t think of a compliment that would suit you right now!
Riddhima: Well that sentence itself is a compliment
They both giggle and riddhima sits down for her mehendi..and soon she gets done with it…everyone headed back home, including riddhima and her parents
SCENE 3: Riddhima’s dad was feeding riddhima’s mom because of mehendi..
Paritosh: Riddhima, come here beta, i will feed you too.
Sulekha: Yeah beta come, did you eat anything at all since morning?
Riddhima: Ma, i ate, and i am not that hungry even..so…i will just go to sleep? Good night!
In her bedroom..
Riddhima’s pov: All boys like mehendi, but what they don’t know is that we have to do nothing with our hands for hours, just so that our mehendi is dark, proving their love, but men? They just don’t even appreciate it! Like my husband, i had to sit for 3 hours for mehendi and now do nothing with my hands for many more hours, without food!
Vansh: Hello!? Are you there or lost somewhere?
Riddhima: VANSH!?? What the hell?? You aren’t supposed to meet me!
Vansh: Technically speaking i can’t see you after today, but it is just 10;30pm, which means a lot of time for the day to end, now coming to your question, how can i let my wife go to sleep without having any food right?
Riddhima: Finally you realised that you have to feed me! Now go to kitchen don’t make any noise! And get some good food!!!!
Vansh: Whoa, chill you hungry monster!
He goes downstairs and is about to move the plate of a vessel when he heard someone clearing their throat..
Vansh: Riddhima? Why did you come down, i told right i will get the food?
Someone clears their throat again,but this time vansh turns around
Vansh: Riddhima….papa??
Paritosh: So you came?
Vansh: I will leave, if you want me to?!
Paritosh: Just like you, i can’t see my daughter go to bed hungry, here take this *he hands over a plate already ready with all items* I knew you would come…
Vansh: Thanks papa…
Paritosh: Thanks vansh, for being there for her even when we couldn’t be there…
Vansh: I made a promise, which i intend to fulfil until the last breath papa..
Paritosh: You know she is lucky to have you, and likewise, i know you are lucky to have her..but remember vansh i can be sweet and loving until you take care of my little girl, the day she gets hurt, you don’t want to see that side of me..now go she must be hungry, and when she is hungry she tends to be angry
Vansh: Trust me, i know papa…we had a bad fight about it too..
FLASHBACK
Before they realised they loved each other, starting stages of their marriage perhaps..vansh came home late at night and riddhima was doing, what looked like meditation, sitting on their oops her bed!
Vansh: Are you okay riddhima?
Riddhima: *doesn’t answer*
Vansh: I asked something riddhima, are you okay!?
Riddhima: *almost shouting* And i didn’t answer the first time, which means i don’t want to answer it! Why don’t you get it!??
Vansh: Come on riddhima! No one does breathe in and breathe out at 11:30 pm!
Riddhima: Well guess what! I am one single piece, i do breathe in and breathe out at 11:30! If you have a problem, deal with it!!
Vansh: geez, aren’t you the grumpy one! Ok seriously what happened!?
Riddhima: Today is some ritual, teej! And i was suppose to keep fast for you, which i did! And since morning i haven’t eaten anything, because you should break my fast! And guess when does my husband come back home? NOW!!!! I am hungry!!
Vansh: OK, chill, cool down, get food i will break your fast…
He makes her drink water
Riddhima: THANKS!!
Vansh: If you were so hungry why didn’t you break it by yourself? I mean it’s not like you care a damn about me do you?
Riddhima: Trust me i don’t! But i kept this fast, whole heartedly, and i wished for it to be broken the right way!
PRESENT
He heads back to the room
Riddhima: I heard something downstairs everything alright?
Vansh: Yeah, now open your mouth..
He feeds her…
Vansh: I guess the mehendi is dried enough, why don’t you go and wash it off?
Riddhima: NO! If i wash it away later, it will come more red, i don’t want anyone seeing my mehendi and saying my husband doesn’t love me enough, just for others satisfaction otherwise i know how much my husband loves me…*she bends forwards and kisses her forehead*
Vansh: I should go now, bye, love you, keep chatting and calling ok? *he kisses her cheeks and forehead and leaves*
