CHAPTER 7: RIDDHIMA COMFORTS VANSH
SCENE 1: Riddhima wakes up in her room…
Riddhima: Feels good to be back! But the main reason i am here is to meet her, wait she doesn’t even know that Vansh is here, i need to tell her *picks up her phone* Hello?
Other side: Are you back? You know where to meet me, the same place…
Riddhima: I am back, but vansh is also in the city and he wants me to stay beside him, for his work! but i will meet…
Sulekha knocks on the door..
Sulekha: Riddhima, freshen up fast, your sir is here to pick you up!
Riddhima: *on the phone* Why is he here so early? As if he knows that i woke up just now…

SCENE 2: Riddhima comes out of the room…
Vansh: Finally! Let’s go…

Riddhima: I am allowing you to enter my personal time and coming with you right? I need to visit the temple for some peace and calmness even it’s for a minute or two…
Vansh: Fine, after that we will be going to a few resorts, in the outskirts of the city, for meetings, it’s going to be a hectic day Riddhima!
Riddhima: Ok…
Riddhima comes out after a while…and gets in to the car…
Vansh: Let’s go..
Riddhima:But you don’t have any clients here right?
Vansh: I know, but after you told that in hyderabad, Kabir’s company is at no.1 position, i had an idea to expand my companies in south india also….and hyderabad kinda looked like a nice place to start…
Riddhima: Ok!
Riddhima’s pov: Finally, i met her in the temple! And talked to her about the plan!
Vansh: Do you know any fine resaurants?
Riddhima: Yeah why?
Vansh: Actually i am a foodie, so i want to try out your hyderabad delicacies….
Riddhima: Don’t worry about that, i will give you the best food experience in your life, this one week….
Vansh: Thanks!
SCENE 2: At the end of the day, they complete the meetings for the day….
Vansh: Fine, tell me where do you find the best italian or chinese food for dinner?
Riddhima: Are you kidding me? Anyone will laugh at you if they say you are a foodie! Anyway we are on a highway, why don’t we eat in a dhaba!?
Vansh: Dhaba? Are you sure?
Riddhima: I am damn sure! And i know a dhaba near by, they have like the best food!!
Vansh: Fine!
SCENE 3: Kabir is in Mumbai….in his house…
Kabir : Why is it affecting me so much that she is not around anymore? Is it because she will be working in his company? Or something else? I feel like there is a void in my heart that is ready to be filled by you Riddhima, i have faced so many people’s rejections in my professional work, but when you walked away from that door in my office, i felt a sense of responsibility towards you, a sense of saving you from that monster! And the last time i felt like this for someone i was in love….
Asha (kabir’s mom): Then maybe you are in love now also and you just don’t know it?
Kabir: Mom? When did you come into my room?
Asha: When you were lost in Riddhima’s thoughts! I knew she was special for you, when you started talking about her to me alot!
Kabir: Do you think she will accept my love? After what i did?
Asha: If you love someone, you tell them. Even if you’re scared that it’s not the right thing. Even if you’re scared that it’ll cause problems. Even if you’re scared that it will burn your life to the ground, you say it, and you say it loud and you go from there.
Kabir: *hugs his mom* I will go to hyderabad today itself!
SCENE 4: Vansh and Riddhima finish their dinner and are on their way back…
Driver: Mam, it will take 3-4 hours to reach your house mam..
Riddhima: I am fine with it!
Vansh: Drop me first, i have to wake up early tomorrow!
Driver: Fine sir….
Driver drops Vansh at hotel and starts the car..
Riddhima: What happened? Why is it not starting?
Driver: Mam, i think engine problem…
Riddhima: It’s already late!
Vansh: What happened? Why didn’t you guys still leave?
Riddhima: The car is not starting
Vansh: Why don’t you stay back at the hotel with me? I will book a room…
Riddhima: My parents will be worried…
Vansh: Wait, let me give them a call..
Riddhima: How do you have their number?
Vansh: I have my ways Riddhima…
Vansh calls Riddhima’s parents and tells them the whole situation
Vansh: They have agreed to stay
Riddhima: They never agree when i ask?
Vansh: Maybe they trust me! Now come inside…
Vansh asks a room in the reception…
Riddhima: What happened?
Vansh: They have no rooms available!
Riddhima: Fine, i will sleep in the car…
Vansh: You don’t have, to we can share my room, i mean i will sleep on the couch, there are many sofa’s in the room, i think i will adjust myself…
They both go to the room and sleep..
In vansh’s dream…
A girl: You are such a baby? Can’t you live for 1 year without me? I will call you everyday!! Come and give me last hug that should make up for the 1 year of hugs that we will be missing! I love you…
A guy: It should have been you! My family will suffer without me…
Another guy: You are a cold hearted, mean person, you let a guy die?!
Vansh wakes up..
Vansh: No! I am not, i didn’t let..him…
Riddhima comes near him..
Riddhima: Vansh, are you alright? Vansh! Drink the water…
Vansh: *hugs riddhima* I didn’t, I never wanted to..
Riddhima: *hesitates at first but hugs him back after seeing his condition* Vansh, shhh! *rubs his back* It’s ok, It’s alright you are safe, you are with me..Everything is alright, you didn’t do anything Vansh, look around…it was just a nightmare…
Vansh realises that he is hugging her and jerks back..
Vansh: Sorry, i..
Riddhima: I think you should sleep on the bed, you will get some proper rest… I am used to sleeping on the couch most of the time, so i will be fine sleeping on the couch…
Vansh sleeps on the bed, but later Riddhima notices him nervous and sweating in his sleep, so she sits beside him and strokes his hair back soothingly, just like a mother does when she makes her child go to sleep…
Riddhima: Everything is alright, Vansh…..go to sleep, i am with you…
Riddhima’s pov: What is he having a nightmare about? That he was so scared and sad at the same time? Did he go through any trauma before? Any such incident that shouldn’t have happened?
Later slowly she also fells asleep beside him….
SCENE 5: Kabir comes to Riddhima’s home…
Sulekha: Who can it be at this hour?
Opens the door…
Sulekha: Who are you? And what are you doing here at this hour? Don’t you have any time sense?
Kabir: Auntie, i am Kabir Mathur the CEO of Mathur industries…
