Aashiqui-A Story Of Eternal Love (Shot 4)

Shot 4!!!!! Yay!!! I love this story more than my other stories. You know why?! Simple because it’s a short story. Lol!! I am a lazy ass. And I know that. OK enough of my blabbering. This one is a bit short from the previous two. But I couldn’t edit more. I want to make changes too.

Radhika stood in front of the mirror clad in a red off shoulder one piece which left her slender legs exposed. She felt it was a lot of skin show But Sam said it was OK. She liked no loved the dress but her practical mind was dominating her heart this days.

‘You looked like a heavenly nymph. Oh I just lost my heart to you.’ This was the first compliment from Sameer and he went on and on. But Radhika couldn’t stop thinking what would Arjun say if he saw her in this dress. Maybe he would say you look more ugly in this. Get some more clothes on you. He never permitted to let her wear western outfits when they were together.

She brushed aside all this negative thoughts and decided to go with the flow. She’ll embrace life the way it is. Sameer had asked her to be his date for tonight and though she had refused upfront. Still he had managed to make her say yes by all pleading, begging and buttering her up. She thought what difference will a party make in her life. She had just said yes to be his date and nothing else. In the deep depths of her heart even she knew that her heart still belonged to Arjun and she hated herself for still having hopes about him coming back to her. How could she expect a person without a heart to reciprocate her feelings?! What was she even thinking now?! That Arjun will realize his mistake and love her the way she did. Such a mess she was.

As soon as they entered the party, numerous camera’s flashed on them. No one knew her as Radhika Arjun Mehra as he hardly took her to parties. He always went alone and said she wasn’t deserving enough to be taken out with him.

Sameer was also very famous and appeared in page 3 very often. So they were pestered by many questions like were they dating each other or its a serious relationship?! When are the wedding bells ringing?! When they started seeing each other?! They just gave a one considerate answer that they were just very good friends and they didn’t know what’s written in the future.

Arjun entered the party and instantly gained attention of all the media and pretty females and jealous males. He had a powerful and royal aura around him. His mere footsteps were counted and created a kind of alertness in people surrounding him. He was the youngest business tycoon leading a powerful unbeatable and flourishing Mehra empire. He was the idol of many youngsters and was greatly admired by all the people in business world. He had achieved success at a very young age. Not because he was a Mehra and his father served it for him in silver plate. He had indeed set a example for those who believed that dreaming is for losers. He had seen a dream to take their empire to the altitude where no one could compete with it and he did achieve his dream with his hard work and brilliant business approach.

He was mostly asked about his business and new developments in it which he answered very smartly without revealing much on grounds of confidentiality. At last he was asked about his wife and he changed the topic stating she was unwell and so preferred to stay home.

He walked to the bar section and settled down on one of the stools. He badly needed a hard drink to handle this party which he was least interested in. He was just here for his father who got things done his way at any cost. Arjun was more like his dad then his mom. He was a splitting image of his dad, Armaan Mehra in terms of looks and even his brains he inherited from his old man.

He ordered a exotic hard drink for himself and sipped in some to keep calm. He was growing impatient this days as there was no Radhika in his life to calm him down like she always did by letting him shout and yell at her and release his frustration.

He was quiet until he heard a familiar chirpy lively voice which ordered a orange juice from the bartender. His ears stood up alarmed and each cell of his body was alerted. He turned to his right from where the voice came from. There she was. She looked breathtaking like always and he stared at her without a blink. His heart was beating faster in his chest and his inner self was screaming out loud, telling him to go and just pull her in his arms. But he was numb for minutes together. As if he lost the ability to think or grasp anything. When he was about to make a move, just then his eyes turned into slits as the sights before him killed him.

Sameer wrapped his arm around Radhika and whispered something in her ears to which she giggled like a kid.

Arjun’s jaw hardened and nostrils flared. He fisted thinking what relation she shared with Sameer. Why wasn’t she jerking off his hand?! As far as he knew Radhika. She wasn’t a type of girl to allow any male to touch her like that. And what the hell was she wearing?! That dress exposed so much of her fair ivory skin of her slender legs and bare shoulders He also observed how many of the males in the party were lustfully scrutinising her. He wasn’t liking it even a bit. He felt like breaking the heads of  each f**king men  who was watching her with sinful lust in their eyes. He could make out that she had no idea how much attention she was getting from all those jackals.

When they were together, He always made sure she covered up more than it was needed. He never allowed her to wear revealing outfits. He never let any of his male friends to greet her with a hug. It was strictly prohibited for her. The anger inside him increased until it reached its peak and the glass in his hand broke to pieces as he smashed it. His hand was smeared with blood but he cared less about it.

His rage knew no bounds when he saw Sameer tucking her hair strands behind her ear. How dare he touch her?! How dare she let him?! He was expecting her to push Sameer away all by herself but that never happened. He was anxiously waiting for her to do it. Hell break loose when Sameer pulled her on the dancefloor and She danced with him gracefully grooving with him.

Arjun was finding it hard to believe that she was really his Radhika and not her look alike. His eyes held a ferreous destructing storm in them as he glared at the two people who seemed lost in each other to him. He was waiting for the dance to get over and thankfully it did after few minutes. But every minute was pure torture for his eyes to see them together. They were the longest five minutes of Arjun’s life.

He wondered,” Did Radhika really forgot that she was married?!”

The egoistic male within him answered,” That does not matter. Go remind her who she belongs to. She belongs to you and no one else. Why are you standing here like a fool?! You are the Arjun Mehra. You never learnt to fail. If Radhika has forgotten her boundaries and confines. She should be reminded of them sooner. She is yours.”

His burning rage snatched away the ability to think rationally and anger took complete control of his actions.
