Aashish Bhardhwaj talks about his last day on the sets of Mithai; says, “I was emotional and blank”
TV show Mithai, which was launched in April is now going off-air after completing a run of five months. The show will call it a wrap on September 24.
Aashish, who is known for his role in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and Tere Bina Jiya Jaye Na, talked about it during a recent interview and shared, “The show will always be the most special one because I played the hero for the first time and I am grateful for the opportunity. It is always an emotional moment when a show wraps up because you forge a bond with your co-actors, crew, directors, and producers. It’s not easy to bid farewell to a team you have worked with for months together.”
Talking about his last day on the sets of Mithai, the actor said, “I was emotional and blank. The fact that there would be no shoot from the following day and we were parting ways washed over me every now and then. However, I am quite practical. I know that we have to move on. So, I am also trying to move on (smiles).”
The actor is proud of the show, he said, “If a show of mine runs for just six months but has a beautiful journey, I will feel happy about it. I should be grateful for what I have got and that’s crucial for a positive approach. Every show has its own destiny, it runs as long as it is destined to. Wohi iss show ke saath bhi hua. I am happy about the fact that everyone associated with Mithai gave it their all and I have received so much love as Siddharth (his character in the show). I got to explore a lot of shades and variations in such little time. What more could I have asked for?”
