Actor Abheyy S Attri who was last seen in the show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has been missing from the small screen for a long time. IN a recent interview with BT, Abheyy revealed that he might not be actively doing television, but he hasn’t quite the industry.
He said, “I haven’t quit TV and certainly not Mumbai. Yes, because of COVID, things were slow and I was busy with a couple of other things so that’s why I couldn’t take up a show. And then there have been a lot of family commitments; me and my wife, Drishti, have been traveling, so that is why I am not in Mumbai right now.”
Talking about television, the actor shared, “For a TV serial, you need to take out a lot of time. When it comes to a web series, at a time you can do two, or you can either do web shows or a film. But if you are doing a TV serial, it’s very hard to take out time.”
Abheyy is currently focusing on OTT and movies. He said, “When it comes to a film, it’s maximum a three-hour journey, wherein an entire story has to be laid out in front of the audiences. There are workshops and you get enough time to prepare for your character and work on yourself. In OTT too, you get enough time to focus on your character.”
He further adds, “I am enjoying my journey in the webspace right now. But, yes, would choose any medium that gives me a good character to perform because, at the end of the day, acting is my passion.”
